These people have no class, and have descended into juvenile put-downs that any high school punk would recognize. Appalling.
I never watch them anymore. In the past, I'd occasionally tune in, trying to keep myself honest - force myself to listen to criticism, etc. But MSNBC has shown that they have no criticism to offer, only ad hominem insults. This fits into a wider pattern of leftist counterattack. It's all about racism and charges of stupidity and country bumpkins and stooges of special interests, yada yada yada. They present themselves as superior by trying to insult others as inferior.
I will say that the only news outlet that comes close to offering semi-sensible criticism is Slate. You still have to wade through useless articles of nonsense, but occasionally you hear something challenging. I like reading William Saletan especially. I disagree with him, but he almost always presents a strong case. He must be "reckoned with." There are a few other credible liberals, but you have to seek them out. They're drowned out by the whackos.
MSNBC is pointless. You know what they say before they say it, so why waste the time?
