I think there are white males who want the “real thing” meaning, someone who looks authentically “black” — just like many white females prefer dark-skinned black males over light skinned black males
there are white people who have Black fetishes — which, for the RACIST white male and RACIST white female, it’s a form of BESTIALITY — which is why KING KONG movies have been such a hit that they have been made several times

which tells me that their CONFUSION is SO PROFOUND that they can’t even SEE or HEAR HOW (off the wall) they sound to complain about white people while they have a white female in their bed every night (!)
Unfortunately, many black females who wear their beautiful hair natural (I love the texture of healthy black hair!!) have found that some (not all) black males STiLL gravitate toward their longer and straighter haired sisters or toward non-black females
while white males sometimes find natural hair “exotic” (sic)

I know a Black female who writes about issues pertaining to Black relationships, and she was sharing with us how White males message her daily about wanting to have sex with black MEN. They’ll offer a profile of themselves – may of whom say that they’re straight – but they want to be dominated sexually by Black men. Now if White men are so superior, why do they fantasize about being dominated sexually by Black men????

You know, I used to get angry inside when I saw a Black male with a White female, even BW/WM couples on occasion, but now I see the Black partner as a victim hands-down. Yesterday I read a book called “Mixed Coupes”, and I wanted to cry when I read how the White-in-laws mistreated their Black-in-laws. One white female was literally angry at herself for addressing her Black son-in-law by his first name. In contrast, no Black families objected to these unions, and Black nationalist relatives of the Black person thought highly of their White-in-law.
Now why should our people be persuaded to marry into families who see us as less than dirt?
We live in such an anti-Black culture, so it causes us to do many things that make absolutely no sense. These black partners were upset about these instances, but they still were able to tolerate it. I highly doubt they would tolerate the same treatment from a spouse who was black.
I don’t even think IR relationships between Palestinians and Israelis are even a topic of discussion over there. There is just so much tension among both groups that it would be seen as an act of insanity for them to come together when both sides are at war. And that’s why I think Blacks and Whites are uneasy about the same thing here. Because even if we try to pretend like there we’re in a post-racial society, we all know that there’s a serious problem between both groups. And trying to create relationships that ignore that reality will not work.
I just wish that I lived in a world where I saw other black people as genuinely human and worthy of giving and receive love like I do with white people. This would heal Black relationships everywhere.

there’s one MORE LITMUS TEST that I apply to ALL the stereotypes that whites have created about blacks
for example, how the white media via Oprah Winfrey made the DOWN-LOW phenomenon LARGELY a black male phenomenon

yes, it is a form of confusion, and denial, a need for white validation and a recipe for mental illness
I have watched many of these “IR” unions create permanent rifts in black families,
for example, the white person’s side of the family usually has NO interest in getting to know the black side of the family and only TOLERATES them on occasions where their attendance is mandatory
like the wedding
and they might tolerate the black son or daughter in law and his or her parents but that “welcome” is seldom extended to any other black family members
(yes, I’m talking about my extended family)
where the black side of the family is more open and more accepting in general, I think, because black people are used to white people invading our “territory” and so we learn to adapt to whatever is thrown our way
One of my younger female relatives (who is the product of a black mother and a white father) told me once when we were alone that her white relatives were so different from her black ones and I asked her what she meant and she said when she visits the black people, even people that she is not related to will kiss her and hug her
but when she visits her “white side” they are standoffish and cool toward her
Unfortunately, she is very white-identified and has only so far been interested in white males and has not married Her sister is married to a white male and all their children look white and are being RAISED as white people and will pass as white
and when I look at it, my black female relative’s family is DISCONNECTED from her black side INSTEAD of building a STRONG EXTENDED FAMILY
which is one of my MAJOR beefs and that the DISSOLUTION of the extended black family that sometimes happens when we marry “out” and our elders KNEW the value of the extended black family where aunts and uncles and grandmothers and grandfathers were ESSENTIAL in raising black children and teaching them RESPECT
there were NO latchkey kids when we had generational houses and families and even our NEIGHBORS helped to raise each other’s children
that’s why that African proverb said:
It takes a VILLAGE to raise a child (properly)
and we lost them during integration and assimilation and urbanization ‘
and we can see the effect it has had on black children
and this IR “thing” is just ONE MORE NAIL in the black family coffin

my mother, who doesn’t keep up with celebrity news at all, yesterday just remarked that she didn’t understand why the media was making such a big deal out of K&K. I couldn’t care less personally.
But you may have a point that sometimes the media uses marriage/biracial children to prove that Black men who had been more racially aware are now neutral due to their dating/mating choices and there less threatening to whites.

You should see the comments on Twitter about this child. People are bashing the little girl already. Here is what went viral on Twitter; “Kim Kardashian is now famous for black people coming in her *you know what* AND out of her *you know what*.”
Just type in the key words “kim kardashian” “black” and see what comes up.
Even though some people think that her family embraces blackness, I actually think that their black relatives are kind of tokenized. Who would’ve cared about Lamar Odom if he wasn’t married to Khloe? I don’t recall seeing his children on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and their yearly family portraits, but Khloe is the wife of their father. Kanye’s not even in the family pictures. And with Kim saying that her child will be raised to be colorblind, I’m not so sure that they embrace Blackness. Colorblindness is not the reality for our people. I wouldn’t be shocked if Kanye’s grandkids end up being White if that’s how the child will be raised. But I could be wrong.
And yes, too many of our Black intellectuals live a double standard. But perhaps the contradiction is what keeps them in limelight. Otherwise, they would not even be mentioned at all. You either cave into the White standard or live an obscure life.
