There is a reason all this revisionist imagery and theater–aka black movies by white Hollywood–is coming at us fast and furious, while a “black president” sits in the White House, largely silent about the plight of blacks in america.
And at the same time that blacks are losing ground in employment, housing, and education, and cities like NYC are passing laws that make it a FELONY to “annoy” a police officer and can result in a MANDATORY FOUR YEAR PRISON SENTENCE –aimed primarily at US.
and more and more states are passing “Stand Your Ground” and “concealed carry” laws that allow a Zimmerman to shoot down an unarmed black boy in cold blood and walk away scot-free–that are aimed primarily at US
And on this increasing oppressive backdrop, blacks are flooding the theaters, spending our hard-earned money watching movies and telling (lying to) ourselves that the most powerful white people actually care about our stories –
to the extent that some black people become angry (at black people like me) for DARING to question the wisdom of allowing our children to learn about their history by watching white Hollywood produced films INSTEAD of reading about it from books written by BLACK SCHOLARS John Henrik Clarke, Lerone Bennett, Marcus Garvey, and Chancellor Williams.
Why? because most of us do not read but get most of our information from the TV tube or movie screen and our children are FOLLOWING IN OUR ILL-FATED FOOTSTEPS, catching a ride on this brain-fatal Hollywood bandwagon that will surely be driven off the psychological and economic cliffs in the near future. Our future lies in how well we understand, respect and TEACH our true past–not on how many “black films” are produced by white Hollywood.
Bottom line–any people who allow their ENEMIES to tell their stories are a people under the psychological state of total submission.

And when you look at what bills have been signed into law AND extended, every single one of the “Acts” Bush passed were EXTENDED by the Obama administration. And under the Obama administration at least THREE new “free trade” bills were passed — bills that literally MOVE jobs out of the United States into poor, non-white countries where the people will be terribly exploited making only a few dollars a day
AND keep in mind that black unemployment is still climbing while the Obama administration sends jobs OUT of the country AND brings in more legal AND illegal immigrant labor.
I’m not blaming President Obama because that’s like blaming the spokesman for a corporation who is simply SAYING and DOING what he or she is TOLD to do. That spokesman doesn’t make ANY decisions — NONE — he or she is just the FACE on the policies so people will have someone to throw rocks at
He is a SCAPEGOAT — and that’s why I don’t blame him OR praise him because neither position makes any sense (to me).

I agree, white supremacy is a system of death, not just for black and non-white people, but also for the entire planet — which can be seen in the damaged ecosystems, the pollution of the oceans, the disappearing plant, animal, and insect species, and in the contaminated food and water supply.
I have no doubt who the victor will be in this unholy war led by petty tyrants:
Mother Nature, the Planet Earth, the Universe, and the Creator.
Man cannot destroy the above but will ultimately have to face the wrath of those combined forces

I agree that racism will ramp up and black people in this nation will come under more dedicated and focused attack. For example, in Robbins, Illinois, a predominantly black suburb of Chicago, the homeowners discovered recently that their town is being sold to a (white) developer who plans to turn the land into a quarry and a horse therapy farm (!) without any input from the black residents.
And if this “deal” goes through (and I believe it will), this 80-year old black suburb and over 100+ homes will be destroyed — just ONE MORE CONFIRMATION that blacks have no rights that are respected (unless it is some public relations spectacle designed to deceive us into believing otherwise).
That is a hard lesson for (some) blacks to internalize, that having degrees, table manners, being well-spoken, etc. is NO protection against racism. Which is why we MUST stop fighting each other and come to the realization that we are all in this — TOGETHER

It depends what we mean by 'future'; tomorrow; two weeks, 2 months, 2 years, 20 years, 200 years, 2000 years, 2 million or billion years?
It futher depends on what is meant by 'we'; you and I; our friends, our tribe (whether honour, blood, race, culture, religion, whatever); or our planet; i.e. 'we' = humans on planet earth...
If 'future' means below 20 years, and 'we' means 'humans on planet earth' then I'd say whether we were originally sourced from aliens or Masonic human cattle is really not very relevant, considering the importance of waking the fuck up and finding a way to live and breed that does not exterminate our planet.
Simply Put, as stated elsewhere:
If you have a foodforest, that supports 10 people, then those ten people are free from working to produce food. THEY ARE FREE (from the 'work' of producing food) FOR AS LONG AS THEY limit their population (carrying capacity) numbers to 10: by (a) breeding below carrying capacity, not breeding to more than ten persons; and (b) by defending their territory from immigrants who want to come and steal their food.
If one person in the tribe chooses to breed above the tribes carrying capacity, then they are a national security threat to the tribe's freedom from producing food. They should be warned, or eliminated as should their children. If the tribe has a strict policy for everyone, from tribe leader to tribe bottle washer; then it is fair, and the tribe will not have internal dischord. Hence they will be united in protecting the tribe's food forest territory from external immigrants from other tribes who have overbred and overconsumed their food forest - due to lack of strong rules to exterminate their overbreeding and overconsuming cheaters - and are now in search of a new food forest.

Hmmm. I imagine by 'black films' she means movies with black (racial/biological) actors; and 'white hollywood', that hollywood is run by 'white' (racial biological) people (not sure if its white or jews).
But when you read her sentence as "black films" meaning masonic human factory farming slavery crap; then I would not conclude that hollywood is 'white'; in terms of what I consider honour white. In fact, then Hollywood would be so black, they sunk down a black hole, and they ain't got a clue where the hell they are, or what they are doing. They are not even enlightened in the sense of blindfolded 'black', where the being admits to being confused, and truthseeking; they are so far down the black rabbithole, and they appear to believe they know the 'truth'. But anyone who espouses to know any truth; would be totally unafraid of that truth being a matter of public discourse and impartially examined, and Hollywood appears paranoid petrified of that! -

Hmmm. He never responded; not many do. LOL.

Hi. I appreciate you for your enquiry and analysis of Humanity’s Limits to Growth conundrum; particularly the silver lining of personal self development.
In fact my personal theory is somewhat tied to your Thermodynamics of Civilization perspective linked to the personal growth silver lining.
I shall try to explain as briefly as possible, although I am not as linquistically gifted as yourself.
It is my theory that it is our failure to have learnt the personal growth principles that some of us, may learn from the collapse of civilization, that if we had learnt them, would have avoided the trajectory onto the path of civilization. Put simply I am not convinced of the theory of the Thermodynamics of Civilization.
Consider for example the Mosuo culture in SW China, whom in my opinion – for whatever reasons, I don’t know, but worth investigation – learnt these lessons. They live in a gender balanced culture with almost no murder, no rape, no homeless, no courts, no prisons. Culturally, they are, and have been in a state of cultural equilibrium, and ecological equilibrium for thousands of years.
Perhaps they are like the old growth forest, and ‘civilization’ is more like the quarry. Given the same amount of energy, they are capable of using/degrading 90% of it cooperatively, shared evenly to keep their culture calm and serene; whereas if we had to live off the same amount of energy they use, we would use 40%, 20 percent of it spent on inter socio-cultural competition conflict.
My theory is that perhaps ‘civilized humans’ failed to learn the ‘thermodynamic cooperative equilibrium’ eco-spiritual lesson; that we can access more energy cooperatively and sharingly, than we can competitively and greedily.

Just a few thoughts…I shall ponder to see how and where your thermodynamic analysis of civilization intersects or discards or confirms my gender/cultural analysis of civilization:
‘Civilized’ Patriarchy (pa•tri•arch•y):
A system of society or government, is Patriarchal to the extent that it regulates (a) the relations between humans, nature and other animals species and (b) the relations between humans amongst themselves, in terms of their gender, culture, ethnic, religious and ideological conflicts; for the (c) almost exclusive benefit of violent Anthropocentric humans and corporations.
Consequently a legal, political or social system is Patriarchal to the extent of its (a) failure to provide automatic equal legal personhood and rights to nature and animal and plant species; (b) disregard for the objective and scientific carrying capacity truth of the laws of nature/ecology; and (c) disregard for the laws of human nature; when they contradict the AnthroCorpocentric – breeding and consumption war – objectives of the holders of subjective AnthroCorpocentric Truth.
A society has violent Patriarchal breeding and consumption war objectives, to the extent that:
• its socio-political status symbols involve breeding war, consumption war and violent warrior mythology: (a) breeding war procreation above carrying capacity: i.e. cultures that reward their male members with concepts of manhood virility status, which are based on the man breeding a family above carrying capacity levels; (b) consumption war consuming above carrying capacity; i.e. cultures that reward their male members with concepts of manhood intelligence/virility status, which are based upon the man consuming above carrying capacity levels, to demonstrate his ‘large consumption penis’; (c) warrior mythology, where violent men are rewarded with ‘freedom fighter’ or ‘soldier’ socio-political status symbol medals and awards; particularly if the warrior mythology censors and ignores information to educate the culture’s members, that scarcity induced resource war violence can be avoided by the culture’s members choosing to breed and consume below carrying capacity levels. A culture which teaches a purely defensive warrior mythology; i.e. based purely on defense of its landbase and resources, i.e. which educate the members of the culture to avoid overpopulation and overconsumption scarcity inducing lifestyle’s within its culture, and hence does not engage in patriarchal breeding and consumption war objectives would not be considered a patriarchal culture.
• Its religious, political and corporate leaders (a) endorse patriarchal objectification and sexualized concepts of ‘beauty’, which demean and vilify all women who do not meet those ‘beauty’ requirements; where a woman’s value is not based on her honesty, character and integrity, but upon how well she is able to market and trade her sexuality for physical and economic safety and security, and (b) avoid addressing the overpopulation and overconsumption scarcity induced root causes of most direct and indirect causes of conflict: from murder, rape, suicide, homeless, unemployment, courts, police, prisons, mental illness, mental institutions, because cumulatively they serve as socio-political conflict pressure cookers to socio-psychologically pressure women to (i) purchase safety and security by trading sexual favours from men, for physical and economic safety and security; (ii) conform to civilized patriarchy’s expectation that she behave as her partners brood sow, and sexual socio-economic status symbol bimbo accessory, to breed/consume above carrying capacity, to thereby (iii) aggravate scarcity induced violence, particularly against other lower class women, which maintains the socio-political enslaved violent society which forces women to give up a moral spiritual identity, and to exchange sexual favours for safety and security.

Life as a Manifestation of the Second Law of Thermodynamics (Schneider and Kay, 1995) (PDF), one of the references for Chefurka's post; it deals with how different natural phenomena degrade energy, from a quarry to a 400 year old Douglas Fir forest Tree Island. Put differently the most mature ecosystem would reradiate its energy at the lowest exergy level, that is the system would have the coldest black body temperature. The black body temperature is determined by the surface temperature of the ecosystem.
