Wednesday News in Late November 2018.

There are tons of news today about the Mueller investigation. The NY Times reported on how the Trump ordered the DoJ to prosecute Hillary Clinton and former FBI Director Comey. The White Counsel advised him that if Trump allows this to happen, then it could lead to his impeachment. There is no question that corruption, abuse of power, and attempts to obstruct justice exist in the Trump regime. Trump submitted written answers to questions to the Mueller team too. It is assumed that any collusion and obstruction of justice case does relate to his answers and other testimony from other witnesses. Trump wants Whitaker to act as his lawyer, but an Attorney General is supposed to be the people's lawyer. We know that Cindy Hyde Smith of Mississippi saying the evil comments about lynching and recently, there are images of her wearing pro-Confederate clothing (or a Confederate soldier's hat). Black people and freedom loving people of any color in Mississippi need to go out and vote against Smith and vote for the Brother running for office. Ivanka Trump used personal account for emails about government business. So, we have to use discernment in our longevity.

For centuries and thousands of years, the left and progressive have opposed the evil of Anti-Semitism. Today, we will do the same. Trump is no stranger to this and he made anti-Semitic remarks too. He called John Stewart a name in an anti-Semitic way. He supported a tweet with Hillary Clinton next to a Star of David. Trump supported many neo-Nazis and neo-Confederates in Charlottesville, Virginia. During the 19th and 20th centuries, massive Jewish migration existed in America. Many nativists wanted Jewish people to not have job opportunities and some had policies that banned Jewish people from certain universities and other jobs. Immigration quotas existed in America by the 1920's which banned many Southern Europeans (including Southern European Jewish people) from immigrating into America which is similar to the evil Muslim ban today. The Klan burned synagogues in the South too. While we reject Jewish anti-Semitism, we also abhor the oppression that does happen against Palestinians to this very day. We abhor the oppression against black people in Libya. We abhor the suppression of human rights in nations like Saudi Arabia. So, we are consistent. We want Jewish people, Arabic people, and any people to live in peace and have justice fairly.

Also, it is time to delve deeper into the California wildfire situation. We have the most destructive wildfire season in California on record. Now, we witness over 1,000 people missing in California along with many people killed by such dangerous fires. It has almost 8,000 fires in one year. This definitely has to do with climate change since decades ago, no wildfire in CA existed in such a huge magnitude. We have to make solution too so lives can be saved in the present and in the future. Some solutions are to make underground wires in fire prone locations, modernizing infrastructure, send adequate investments in insurance to help the victims, and permit human compassion. The company Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) acknowledged Tuesday that it had submitted an “electric incident report” to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) on November 8, moments before the wildfire broke out. The report detailed a power failure on a transmission line in Butte County at 6:15 a.m., 15 minutes before the fire was reported as starting in the same area. Affected residents have filed a lawsuit against PG&E at the San Francisco Superior Court, accusing the company of negligence. This new development documents how unregulated capitalism doesn't work to help humanity. At the heart of the situation, some regulations to protect our land, water, air, and the environment in general are necessary.

Legends exist constantly and she is a modern day legend. Not only has she won tons of awards involving the great sport of track and field. She has worked diligently in many charities. She isn't ashamed of her faith as she has praised God all of the time. Also, she is one of the highly decorated track and field athletes in history period. She is Sister Allyson Felix and it was her birthday days ago. She is now 33 years old. Los Angeles, California is the place of her birth. Her father is a minister and her mother is a teacher. She is very strong too as she can deadlift 270 lbs. in high school. Later, she ran track as a youth and in USC. A long career is part of her life. She won the silver medal in Athens back in 2004 during the Olympics. She won silver in the 200 m again in Beijing back in the 2008 Olympics. Her dream was to get the gold medal in the 200 m. She would receive her wish in the 2012 London Olympic Games. She won gold in the 200 m and in the historic 4 X 100 women's relay race (being the fastest relay race of the 4 X 100 m women's team in history).

She won gold in the 2016 Olympics in the 4 X 100 women's relay. Felix is a five-time recipient of the Jesse Owens Award from USATF signifying the Athlete of the Year. She won the award for the first time in 2005, and then again in 2007, 2010 and 2012. Felix also won the IAAF female athlete of the year in 2012. Felix is the only woman track and field athlete to ever win six Olympic gold medals, and is tied with Merlene Ottey as the most decorated female Olympian in track and field history, with a total of nine Olympic medals. Felix is also the most decorated athlete in IAAF World Championships history with 16 career medals. She has worked in America and in other nations in promoting literacy, STEM fields, tolerance and respect for those with disabilities. Allyson Felix loves to advance programs of social uplift. She is a great role model. I wish Sister Allyson Felix more Blessings.
