The UK and Other Issues.

Trump is in the UK. He criticized the Muslim mayor of London named Sadiq Khan. Trump is a known demagogue. The UK has a long history. It's a diverse country too. The original inhabitants of the UK were never the Angles, the Saxons, the Normans, and the Jutes. The UK was originally inhabited by diverse peoples. The same xenophobes in the UK who want to limit immigrant ignore the eclectic nature of the UK's existence. Trump wants the more conservative man Boris Johnson to be the next UK Prime Minister. Trump wants the UK to walk away from the Brexit deal. Brexit is the movement of the UK trying to leave the EU. There is the October 31, 2019 deadline where the UK has to make a decision on Brexit. Boris Johnson and Farage are very controversial people. Boris Johnson has made overtly racist, misogynistic, Islamophobic, and racist comments for years. There is no way of being naive about this situation. He said the racist remark that Africa deserves to experience colonialism. Boris also used an anti-black racist slur. He's a piece of work. Africa should always be praised since it's the land of the origin of our people. Boris Johnson is an enemy of true democratic principles.

Kushner defends not telling the FBI about the Trump meeting. He refuses to call Trump a racist when Trump is a racist. Trump said that countries with a majority black African descent in vulgar terms. He called for the death penalty of the Central Park Five when they are innocent, he said that an Mexican American judge can't be unbiased because of his Mexican heritage, and he called neo-Confederate/neo-Nazi protesters "fine people." Trump also promoted the slander of Birtherism. Birtherism promotes the lie that Barack Obama was born in Kenya and therefore doesn't have the right to be President. Trump promoted a policy to ban people to come to America from majority Muslim nations. Therefore, Kushner is trying to defend the indefensible. In life, you have to speak truth to power. We have to defend not only our rights but the rights of others.

Days ago, there was an incident in the Democratic rally (involving MoveOne's Big Ideals forum) in California. Kamala Harris was giving words in an interview, and then a man interrupted Harris, stole her microphone, and talked. Many people sent the man out, since people didn't know what he would do (and the man's actions were totally inappropriate). We know that the person is an animal rights activist, and he was arrogant. He said the lie that he was not being disrespectful when he was. This story touches on many issues. Karine Jean-Pierre heroically stood up against the man. Many of these so-called "white progressives" (just like many right wing extremists) are arrogant to violate the spaces of a woman of color. What Harris has experienced is totally unjustified. No one has the right to violate the space of any woman. Tons of women, especially black women, have experienced what Harris has experienced yesterday. It's a shame. We can debate and discuss issues with civility and without harassment. The security did a poor job since they only came after a long delay. You have to respect people and their space.

Kenneth Copeland's actions towards the reporter from Inside Edition were rude, wrong, and inappropriate. Kenneth Copeland is part of the old Prosperity Gospel movement (he loves the Word Faith movement too). This Prosperity Gospel movement believes that wealth signifies spiritual growth. In other words, those of this movement believe that the more money that you have, the more prosperous religiously you are. We know that to do be a lie since classism is wrong. A person's worth is not defined by a person's money. Copeland is a follower of Trump, and he has praised him on numerous occasions when Trump disrespects women, black people, Latino people, Muslims, immigrants, peaceful protesters, etc. in the most vulgar terms. Copeland has said some outlandish things like Jesus can never be poor when he was struggling to survive. Jesus's family left Israel for a time to escape persecution. In 1988, Copeland said that God is the biggest failure in the Universe. I don't know anyone who believes in God saying such a thing. So, he is filled with greed, contradictions, and a lust for power.

Also, it is important to make the following point. We can't be silent. Gun violence doesn't discriminate. It occurs in every community and in every demographic nationwide plus worldwide. It recently occurred in Virginia Beach, Virginia, which is in Hampton Roads. I live in Hampton Roads. That is why action must be done beyond words. It is wrong and evil for some to assume that a gun (which is an inanimate object. A gun is not a living organism) has more value than human life. The Second Amendment is not an excuse to believe in the lie that no regulations ought to exist involving gun ownership. It is more easier to buy a gun than to rent a house. It is easier to buy a gun than to get a prescription in some states. It's easier to buy a gun than to fly on a plane. That isn't right. Guns have the power to kill, and anyone who owns a gun must take that responsibility seriously. It is a sick culture that raises a gun to the level of godhood while proclaiming that nothing can be done. If people can go on the Moon, then certainly, we can do something about gun violence in America period. Addressing mental health is not enough. There must be true gun reform policies that deal with this issue.

Yesterday marked the end of the 1989 Tienanmen Square protests. Today, it has been 30 years later. Back in June of 1989, I was in kindergarten. I remember doing kid related activities. Back then in China, civil liberties were violated. People feared for their lives, and democracy was not in its full manifestation. That is why brave Chinese people protested against authoritarianism and violations to human rights. The China government back then weren't doing socialistic policies. Socialism supports the freedom of speech. They were enacting reactionary, anti-liberty policies that damaged many lives in China (under the influence of Stalinism). America isn't immune from that mentality. We are the living witness of that reality. Our ancestors suffered chains and whips from evil people lacking morality. Our ancestors were shipped, against their wills, over thousands of miles from Africa into the Americas. Therefore, we realize that an injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. China must respect democracy. There is no excuse for the Chinese military to harm plus kill protesters back in 1989. America must respect democracy too when America has the epidemic of police brutality, a broken prison system, massive income inequality, and discrimination. In order to be a revolutionary, you have to allow a class analysis whereby the poor and the working people have a say in the outcome of the situation (this is a class struggle). Also, you have to deal with housing, the environment, and other economic plus social issues.
