On the End of Black History Month.
As we approach the end of Black History Month, we realize that black history plus black culture is a year round affair. Especially young people should be educated not only famous black heroes. They should be educated on unsung black heroes in their own local communities as well (whether they live in urban or rural locations). In 1619, kidnapped Africans came into Hampton, Virginia. Hampton is not too far where I came from. After over 400 years, our black American people have overcome so much to be some of the greatest doctors, lawyers, teachers, activists, athletes, judges, and other leaders in human history. In Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Hampton, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Newport News, we know about our local black heroes like Bruce Smith, Yvonne Miller, Evelyn Butts, Rev. Joseph Green, Dr. L.D. Britt, Barbara Ciara (who is one of the most greatest, groundbreaking journalists of our generation), Patricia White, E.L. Hamm, Mary Christian, and other human beings. We realize that we love our Blackness as Black is Beautiful. We also comprehend the fact that we have a long way to go in living in this time.
Likewise, our brave ancestors suffered much worse than us, and we are inspired by their strength to carry forward with the Dream. Internationally, we love our black people overseas in Africa, Europe, Asia, Latin America, South America, and throughout the Earth. That is why Afro-Brazilians, Afro-French, Afro-British, and African people are my Brothers and my Sisters. Maya Angelou including Toni Morrison taught us about literature and eloquence. Malcolm X taught us about courage plus self -defense. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. taught us about love and nonviolence, Ella Baker taught us about community, grassroots development, and Stevie Wonder including Nina Simone taught us about further musical genius. Also, Harriet Tubman taught all of us that revolutionary change is necessary to end injustice. We are loving, great people. Most importantly, we realize that our value is priceless. We are the first people on Earth, and our dignity is sacrosanct.. As part of the 7 cities, we are different in many ways, but we are unified in the common goal of freedom and justice for all.
Today, we realize that the coronavirus is a global pandemic. It started in Wuhan, China in December of 2019. There is no solution except by a coordinated international response. Targeted, powerful infrastructure that deals with medical and other resources ought to be utilized to prevent the spread of the virus and ultimately to save lives. From Seoul to Italy, many workers wear protective suits to act as precautions in fighting the virus. We know of SARS from 2002 to 2004. We know MERS in 2012-2014. SARS killed 774 people. MERS killed 886 people. In a few months, the coronavirus has killed 2,770 people in a little over than 2 months. This is unprecedented since the old pandemic over 100 years ago. More outbreaks are in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Many places have placed cities on lockdown or closed down schools in order to stop the spread of the virus. 8 percent of the people with the virus has passed away and about 18 percent with it require intensive care in hospitals worldwide. Trump has tried to say that everything is gravy and he has it under control, but a whistleblower said that many medical officials lacked the resources to wear proper clothing in handling the illness.
World Health Organization advisor and University of Florida professor Ira Longini said that if aggressive measures aren't used to contain the virus, then one third of the world's people could have it. People are fighting to make a vaccine. The 1918 flu pandemic could be repeated if something is not done. As always, we are opposed to the racist anti-Asian attacks going on in many places of the globe during this time. Today, we know scientific research in a higher level. We know about DNA, the RNA code, the cells and receptors of various entities. We don't need trillions of dollars used to fund bank bailouts, unjust wars, and imperialist occupations. We don't need massive austerity measures that cut wages and eliminate pensions. We must use billions of dollars to mobilize the necessary international forces to fight against the coronavirus. That will require common sense, courage, and a benefit to the people worldwide.
My maternal relatives have one origin. They came from Southampton County, Virginia. One person that I heard stories about was my 2nd great aunt named Cora Bell Claud. She lived form 1929 to 1964. She was the daughter of Arthur Boss Claud or my 2nd great grandfather. Cora Claud married the Navy veteran Bernard George Darden (1926-1998). His parents were John Napoleon Darden and Victoria Hargrave Darden. Their descendants are part of the Darden family, and my family are related to many members of the Darden family like my 1st cousin Claudette Darden Hatchett. She was born in 1958 at Southampton County, Virginia. Claudette's parents are Cora Bell Claud and Bernard George Darden. She graduated from VSU or Virginia State University (at Richmond, Virginia). Arthur Boss Claud's father was Rev. James Thompson Claud. Her mother was Sarah Claud. Sarah Claud's mother was the famous Zilphy Claud (she was a brave woman who lived from 1820-1893). Zilphy Claud is my 5th great grandmother.

The 2020 South Carolina debate and other Information.
The debate is over, and it was historic as representative of the power of the black vote in America. Voting is necessary as our schools, our judges, our resources, and other infrastructure are determined massively by voting outcomes. The debate was held in Charleston, South Carolina with a large African American population. As I predicted, many in the corporate media love moderates, and they have praised Biden like usual. Their ethos is the status quo. Also, as I also predicted, Bernie Sanders must use stats and figures along with Warren, because the other candidates will attack them. The most arrogant person in the debate was Pete Buttegieg. He was very slick with his lies and hypocrisies. Pete said that Bernie Sanders should not have inspiration for the revolutionary 60's, but the 60's brought us voting rights legislation, civil rights legislation, Medicaid, Medicare, etc. Pete bashes revolution, but America existed as a product of rebellion and revolution against the British Monarchy. We know that many Founders were wicked to be slaveowners. I want to make that clear.
The Civil War ended by the revolutionary policies of abolishing slavery and defeating the Confederacy (the Confederacy is the enemy). Malcolm X, Mandela, Dr. King, Ella Baker, Harriet Tubman, and other heroes were revolutionaries. Therefore, being a revolutionary or revolution are never dirty words. Pete complains about name calling, but he regularly name calls progressives who desire progressive, revolutionary changes in the world. Elizabeth Warren criticized Bloomberg heavily on scandals, redlining, and on other reasons. Bloomberg denied many of the allegations. Bernie Sanders was attacked by every candidate on stage. Bernie Sanders responded by saying that many of the other candidates supported dictators like Xi, MBS, and other leaders. Sanders never praised Cuba's authoritarianism. He praised the educational progress in Cuba like Obama did. Obama criticized Cuba's authoritarianism too. Many of the candidates hypocritically ignore CIA funding dictators, but they want to lecture others on human rights. Some neoliberals are more afraid of the American voters than Trump. Dr. Martin Luther King explicitly said that one of the most strident opponents of progress is the moderate as moderates are more concerned with the status quo than justice. The candidates debated on health care costs and how to pay for their respective plans. Pete and Warren have said that Bernie Sanders doesn't have enough money to pay for single payer or he doesn't have enough details on how to pay for it. Bernie cited a study saying that his plan was affordable. That study is from the Lancet study. Many candidates criticized Sanders on gun control issues (for them claiming that he voting against the Brady bill multiple times). Sanders said that he opposed assault weapons ownership by people for 30 years. He said that he changed on the gun issue.
The debate had arguments, booes, and other moments. Many tickets for the debate cost up to $3,200 which I find to be strange. Sanders said that Netanyahu was a right wing racist (which he is), and he wants peace among Israelis and Palestinians. People in the audience applauded. No one in the stage called out Netaynahu like that, except Bernie Sanders. That is historic. Sanders has criticized AIPAC too. All of the candidates believe in a 2 state solution. Pete had the worst performance in the debate with his rejection of the progressive, revolutionary politics of the 60's (he tweeted the bashing of the 60's, then he deleted it). Joe Scarborough saying that Bernie's base can't expand is silly since he doesn't know what the future holds.
Bloomberg supported George W. Bush in 2004, never opposed stop and frisk until he was forced to do so after the courts told him that he was wrong, and has tons of contradictions. Bloomberg made a Freudian slip about that he brought the election, then he immediately stopped. He ran commercial ads during the breaks of the debate. One thing about Amy Klobuchar is that she is a sincere, principled moderate. Unlike other candidates, she doesn't lie about her record. I disagree with her on some issues, but she is what she says that she is. She has sincerity in the debate. Warren has shown details in her plans. Steyer responded to Biden passionately. Steyer, to his credit, agrees with reparations for black Americans. The debate was another era coming about. We shall see what the South Carolina Primary's results will be along with Super Tuesday.
There is always a New Jersey link to my paternal relatives. A long time ago, my paternal ancestors came from Halifax, North Carolina. They migrated from North Carolina into Cape Charles, and from there, some came into Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey. My 2nd great uncle was a man named Bynum Trice. He was born in 1882. He lived until 1959. He married Lula Shields Trice. Their child was my first cousin named Lula Trice (1905-1988). She married a man named Taylor Clark (1903-1970). Therefore, their children would be the Clark family, and many Clark family people are related to me. They married on January 26, 1924 at Halifax, North Carolina. Their children are James Henry Clark 1923-1982), Pecolia Clark (1925-2008), Laurine Clark (b. 1927), Clifton Clark (1929-1929), William C. Clark (1932-present), Elmer Clark Junior (1936-1977), and Lenton Clark (born in 1938). My 2nd cousin Pecolia Clark was born on December 6, 1925 at North Carolina. She married Paul Dickens on February 7, 1945 at Halifax, North Carolina. Their children are Charlie Dickens (1948-1990), Sammy Dickens (1949-1949), Emma Lou Dickens, Paul Dickens Jr., Kenneth Dickens, and Roy Lee Dickens. Charlie Dickens was born on January 27, 1948 at Scotland Neck, North Carolina. He married Betty Whitaker (1948-present) on April 1984 at Passaic, New Jersey. Their children are my 3rd cousins. Their names are: Kenneth Dickens, Lisa Dickens, Paul Dickens, Charlene Dickens, and Timothy Dickens. My 3rd cousin Roy Lee Dickens was born on September 16, 1946 at Halifax North Carolina. She married Evelyn Josephine Bellamy on the date of September 11, 1964 at Halifax, North Carolina. Their children are Daphne Victoria Dickens and Cassandra Verdell Dickens (1966-2005). Both daughters are my 3rd cousins. Cassandra married Mickey Dye on June 1, 1991 at Passaic, New Jersey. Their daughter is my 3rd cousin Alexandria Dye. Daphne Victoria Dickens was born on February 23, 1965 at Halifax, North Carolina. She married Bobby Earl Mitchell (1964-1991) on November 28, 1985 at Halifax, North Carolina. Their child is Darnell Casper Mitchell or my 3rd cousin.

Monday News in Late February 2020.
Oral Roberts was one of the greatest defenders of the World Faith/Prosperity Gospel movement. He passed away in the year of 2009. For long decades, he has been a worldwide famous Charismatic televangelist. He worked in both the Pentecostal Holiness and United Methodist Churches. He is considered one of the godfathers of the modern day Charismatic movement. He founded both the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association and Oral Roberts University. He was born in Ada, Oklahoma. He was educated at Oklahoma Baptist University. He preached the seed faith doctrine for over six decades. He said to Larry King Live that he has Cherokee descent. Roberts was a card carrying member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. In 1977, he claimed to have had a vision from a 900 foot tall Jesus telling him to build the City of Faith Medical and Research Center (and the hospital would be a success). He was controversial to claim that his son had seen his father raise a child from the dead in 1987. The practice of speaking in intelligible tongues have existed in ancient Egypt and in the ancient Greek world of various Sibylline priestess plus the woman of Delphi. Oral Roberts believed that the seed of faith movement can cause people to get money. Oral Roberts have written over 120 books on his religious views. His ministry was heavily focused on miracles. Roberts is right that each person does sin, but he is wrong to say that God promised prosperity materially to all. Carlton Pearson and Benny Hinn are similar theologically to Oral Roberts.
Joel Osteen is the quintessential positive preacher. He is similar to Oral Roberts. He is very young preacher who has his church in Texas. He left Oral Roberts University in 1981 to start up his own Lakewood Ministry. His father was a preacher too. His shows are aired worldwide in over 100 countries. John Osteen was his father who taught the World Faith movement's views for years. This same teaching is embraced by Kenneth Copeland and Kenneth Hagin. John Osteen sadly passed away in 1999. Lakewood's sermons are shown by TBN. The church is located in the Houston area. One of the problems is involving Joel Osteen is that he promotes love but he de-empathizes the importance of morality too. There is nothing wrong with love, but you have to condemn evil forcibly to save souls too. In other words, stealing is wrong and harming innocent people is wrong. Imperialism is wrong. These evils should be exposed in the pulpit without any apology from any preacher or congregant. He refuses to talk about hell a lot when even Jesus Christ spoke about hell and which types of people are going to Hell without repentance. Talking about such things will be unpopular with the world. It is better to be unpopular and right than popular and wrong. Joel is similar to Norman Vincent Peale. Years ago, Bill O'Reilly (the fired racist, sexual harasser, and liar) asked Joel Osteen if he believed that Jesus Christ was the Way, the Life, and the truth Joel Osteen ignored the question. Joel later apologized. Like other Prosperity preachers, Joel Osteen believes in the falsehood that Jesus Christ was held captive in Hell for a time: "...For three days Jesus fought with the enemy. It was the battle of the ages, light versus darkness ,good versus evil. But thank God Satan was no match for Jesus (Joel Osteen, Discover the Champion in You, TBN, April 26, 2004). It is true that Hebrew 9:14 that Jesus Christ was offered himself as a sacrifice without blemish. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 said that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead. Osteen told Chris Wallace on December 23, 2007 that Mormonism is Christianity when Mormonism came from Joseph Smith. Mormonism teaches a works based salvation, that Jesus is a creature in heaven, and humans can be gods on their own planets. Therefore, Joel Osteen preaches a half truth. He is right that God is love, and we should promote goodness. Yet, he is wrong to ignore the other half of the gospel which is about exposing sin, being disciplined, and following righteousness. There was the Hurricane scandal in Houston involving him years ago too.
Kobe Bryant was born in Philadelphia. He was the youngest of three children. His father was the former NBA player Joe Bryant and his mother is Pamela Cox Bryant. He was the maternal nephew of basketball player John Cox. His parents named him after the famous Kobe beef of Japan that they saw in a restaurant. Kobe's middle name was Bean after his father's nickname of "Jellybean." A lot of people don't know that Kobe Bryant was Roman Catholic and his parents are Roman Catholic. By the time that he was 3, Kobe played basketball. When he grew up, his favorite team was the Los Angeles Lakers. His father retired from the NBA when he was six. His father moved his family to Rieti, Italy to continue his basketball career in a lower level. After 2 years, the family moved to Reggio Calabria and then to Pisoia plus Reggio Emilia. During this time, Kobe Bryant spoke Italian fluently. He adjusted to his surroundings. Kobe loved the place of Reggio Emilia. At that place, he made a decision to place basketball on a serious level. That is why his grandfather would mail him NBA games for Kobe Bryant to study. Kobe played soccer and A.C. Milan was his favorite soccer player. During the summer time, he would go to the States to play in a basketball summer league. His family moved back to Philadelphia when he was 13 years old. Kobe Bryant's high school basketball career was extraordinary. He gained national attention. He played at Lower Merion High School at Ardmore, which is a Philadelphia suburb of Lower Merion. As a freshman, he was on the varsity team. He was the first freshman in decades to start for Lower Merion's varsity team. Yet, the team finished with a 4-20 record. That would change. During the next 3 years, the Aces had a 77-3 record. Bryant played all five positions. During his junior year, he averaged 31.1 points a game, 20.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists. He was named Pennsylvania Player of the Year and earned a fourth team Parade All-American nomination. Many recruiters from Duke, Michigan, North Carolina and Villanova wanted him to play for their colleges. This was after Kevin Garnett came into the 1995 NBA Draft. Then, Kobe Bryant later decided to go into the NBA. .
At the Adidas ABCD Camp, Bryant earned the 1995 senior MVP award. He played alongside future NBA teammate Lamar Odom. During high school, then 76ers coach John Lucas invited Kobe Bryant to work out and scrimmage with the team. He played one on one with Jerry Stackhouse. During his senior year of high school, Bryant led the Aces to their first state championship in 53 years. During the run, he averaged 30.8 points, 12 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 4 steals, and 3.8 blocked shots in leading the Aces to a 31–3 record. Bryant ended his high school career as Southeastern Pennsylvania's all-time leading scorer at 2,883 points, surpassing both Wilt Chamberlain and Lionel Simmons. During his senior year at Lower Merion, he received many awards for his outstanding skills. He was named Naismith High School Player of the Year, Gatorade Men's National Basketball Player of the Year, a McDonald's All-American, a first team Parade All-American and a USA Today All-USA First Team player. Bryant's varsity coach, Greg Downer, commented that he was a "complete player who dominates." He praised his work ethic, even as team's top player. In 1996, Bryant took the singer Brandy to his senior prom . The 17 year old Bryant to make the decision to go directly into the NBA combing only the 6th player in NBA History to do so. The news was met with much publicity. His basketball skills and SAT score of 1080 would have made him admissible to any college that he wanted. He didn't visit any campuses officially. In 2012, Bryant was honored as one of the 35 Greatest McDonald's All-Americans. By the 1996 NBA Draft, he was in a new era. Before the draft, he worked out in Los Angeles. He scrimmaged against former Lakers players Larry Drew and Michael Cooper. According to then Lakers manager Jerry West, Kobe Bryant defeated these basketball players badly. The Lakers were looking to trade their starting center Vlade Divac for a player's draft rights to free up salary cap space to make an offer to free-agent center Shaquille O'Neal. Bill Branch, the Charlotte Hornets' head scout at the time, said that the Hornets agreed to trade their draft selection at #13 to the Lakers the day before the draft. Before the trade agreement, the Hornets never considered drafting Bryant. During the draft, the Lakers told the Hornets whom to select minutes before the pick was made. Bryant was the first guard drafted directly out of high school. After the draft, the trade was put in jeopardy when Divac threatened to retire rather than be traded from Los Angeles. However, on June 30, Divac relented on his threat and the trade was made final on July 9, 1996, when the league's off-season moratorium ended. Since Bryant was still 17 at the time, his parents had to cosign his contract with the Lakers until he was able to sign his own when he turned 18 before the season began. Bryant signed a three-year rookie contract totaling $3.5 million.
There are many issues found in boxing. Boxing is filled with risks. Knocking a person unconscious of even causing a concussion, it may cause permanent brain damage. From 1980 to 2007, more than 200 amateur boxers and professional boxers plus Toughman fighters died due to ring or training injuries. Many medical associations including Dr. George Lunberg wanted a ban on boxing. Boxing is a sport where a victory is determined by hurting a person and causing a win by points or knockout. The 1997 American Association of Professional Ringside physicians was formed to create medical protocols via research and education to prevent injuries in boxing. Professional boxing was forbidden in Iceland, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and North Korea. Sweden banned it in 2007. Also, boxing training can contribute to fat burning, increased muscle tone, strong bones, strong ligaments, increased cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, improved core stability, more strength, stress relief, improved co-ordination, greater confidence, etc.
Joe Scarborough is truly a hypocrite. He has shown his ways of trying to lie about Sanders, but he wants some moderate to control the Democratic race. First, Castro made mistakes, but Joe is silent on Batista who was a brutal dictator. Why didn't Joe express angry at Barack Obama praising Cuba's educational system. Obama made normalizing relations with Cuba a reality. Joe seems to want the CIA to assassinate Castro decades ago when that is against international law.Obama was called a Communist and a Marxist, but Obama won 2 terms in office. Joe knows very little of the Soviet Union, because before the Soviet Union, Russia was a dictatorship with the czars (filled with pogroms, serfs being oppressed, and violations of liberties). The Soviet Union was wrong not because of socialism. They were wrong because of their authoritarianism, their suppression of democratic rights, and their over excessive militarism at the expensive of economic growth in their lands. Also, Joe doesn't realize that Communism isn't monolithic.
Joe wants to criticize socialism, but fails to mention that democratic socialism is the social democracy found in many nations of the world. Morning Joe and some in MSNBC care more about tokenism than revolutionary solutions. Joe made the disrespectful comment that people are not vetting candidates. The media and other places have vetted Bernie Sanders. There are many stories showing legitimate critiques about his campaigns. They always send out Al Sharpton out there. People aren't overly sensitive. People are tired of Bernie Sanders supporters being compared to Brownshirts, Nazis, and other evil people done by so-called journalists and TV commentators. This hasn't been from FOX News extremists, but by MSNBC hosts. We know which candidates the mainstream media wants. The question is how the voters will respond in the future. The voters have decided that we don't want a moderate. Buttegeig lying in saying that progressives want no inclusion or call people names. Criticizing policies is not calling people names. It is about standing up for truth.

On the 2020 Las Vegas, Nevada Debate
The debate was interesting. It outlined the continued crisis of the Democratic Party among progressives and moderates. Nothing is new under the sun. This crisis went on in 1968, 1972, and in 1980 between Edward Kennedy plus Jimmy Carter. The question is what direction will the Democratic Party go. The vast majority of young people are progressives while the vast majority of older people in the Democratic Party are more centrist. So, this generational divide will not be solved so easily. The debate in Las Vegas, Nevada was very heated. Some have sad that it was the most heated of the debates so far. The Democratic establishment seeks to do the slick plan to allow Bernie Sanders to win many delegates while being not the victor at the convention in Milwaukee because of the influence of the superdelegates. Like always, Matthews and other moderates on MSNBC had a meltdown, since their arch-nemesis Bernie Sanders haven't been taken down. Donny Deutsch on MSNBC said that he would vote for Trump than Sanders which shows his hypocrisy. I feel like I'm looking at FOX News when I hear MSNBC hosts bash Bernie Sanders. The acts from some in MSNBC (not everyone at MSNBC, so I want to make that clear) proves that the media is not liberal or progressive. Most of the media is centrist or neoliberal. The Root's Jason Johnson paraded the lie that Bernie hasn't experienced much scrutiny from other candidates when tons of candidates have questioned Bernie Sanders in many debates.
The media in many cases have outlined legitimate critiques about Sanders' record, and in other cases, some in the corporate media have used lies about him. The most powerful person in the debate was Elizabeth Warren. She exposed Michael Bloomberg's scandals, contradictions, and bad policies from stop and frisk, allegations of sexism, and other matters. Elizabeth Warren was eloquent, powerful, and stayed on message. She spoke like a poet, attacked like a lawyer, and stood up for the people. Bernie Sanders was also strong in outlining his criticisms of economic inequality, racism, and other injustices. Bernie Sanders was the most consistent to describe his message to the public. He is obviously the most progressive candidate. The moderates on stage ironically attacked each other. Pete Buttegieg and Amy Klobuchar debated each other on issues ranging from immigration to other matters. Klobuchar said that Pete is wrong to question her intelligence on a question about who is the President of Mexico. Joe Biden opposed the political views of Michael Bloomberg from stop and frisk to the NDA subject.
Bernie Sanders rejected Bloomberg's lying charge that he is a communist by saying that the super wealthy have massive socialism in terms of tax breaks, etc., while the working class experiences rugged individualism (as said by the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in 1967 from this Three Evils Speech). Bloomberg fails to see that democratic socialism is completely different than Stalinist Communism. There are even different variations of communism. As the stop Bernie movement has failed so far, the corporate media and the Democratic establishment are freaking out. Bernie Sanders is actually a neo-New Dealer in the mold of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He is not as extreme as some characterize him as. Bernie Sanders favors social democracy. They or the establishment hates revolutionary change, and we welcome their hatred. Buttegieg's lie about us, who want revolution, by saying that we desire to exclude others. That is fantasy. Revolutionary change brought an end to the Confederacy, Jim Crow apartheid, massive smog epidemics in many places, and other evils. These revolutionary changes existed as a product of bringing people together in common cause (via grassroots movements) to eradicate horrendous evils in our land. Buttegieg wouldn't dare say to the faces of the homeless, those who can't afford health care, and the victims of racial profiling that we don't need structural change. Pete Buttegieg is funded by Wall Street interests.
We have 540 billionaires living the high life while 21 percent of all U.S. children live in families with incomes below the federal poverty threshold. The 0.1 percent of all Americans have more wealth than the bottom 90 percent of Americans. America is 12th in all 12 industrialized nations in life expectancy, while the U.S. has the most expensive health care system on Earth. Socialism is not responsible for these realities. We know which economic system is responsible for these tragedies. One telling part of the debate is when the moderate asked all candidates if the person with the most delegates or the most votes should be the nominee. Every single candidate candidate said no except Bernie Sanders. The rest of the candidates wanted the process to be played out. This tells me that democracy is under threat. We want people with the most votes to win primaries and caucuses. That is what voting is all about. Almost 800 unelected superdelegates is a real problem to the concept of democracy. We reject war mongering, corporate domination, monopolism, economic inequality, and injustice in general. The Las Vegas debate didn't mention anything on foreign policy issues like the coronavirus, struggles in Latin America, China, the Middle East, the fascist far right in Europe, etc. Therefore, the debate made it clear that Warren and Bernie are the most progressive candidates with the best vision among the Democratic field.
Some very sad news is the passing away of Ja'net Dubois at the age of 74. She was an actress, a mother, and a lover of the arts. For decades, she has worked on many films and had 3 children. We appreciate her humor, charisma, strength, and honesty. Now, she continues to belong to the ages as a legendary human being. She passed away in her sleep. She was born in the Northeast, and she was raised in Amityville, New York on Long Island. She worked in acting back in the 1960's in the Broadway play of Golden Boy (with Sammy Davis Jr. and Lou Gossett Jr. back in 1964). She was in the TV movie J.T. in 1969. She was in the soap opera Love of Life from 1970 to 1972 with the role of Loretta Allen. She was the first African American woman as a regular cast member on a daily series. She loved to dance. In 1992, DuBois, Danny Glover, and Ayuko Babu co-founded the Pan-African Film and Arts Festival in Los Angeles. She won an Emmy Awards. She loved her city of Amityville, New York. She was a legend.
Rest in Power Sister Ja'net Dubois.

On the Eve of the 2020 Nevada Debate.
We live in ironic times. We live in a time where Chris Matthews can hate socialism, but ignores that Albert Einstein and Dr. King praised democratic socialism. If Matthews and the corporate Democrats hate socialism so much, then they should publicly call for the elimination of the TVA, public libraries, Social Security, government funded roads, and the whole 9 nine yards. They won't do this, because they know they would look silly. The DNC changed its rules after candidates of color were gone to benefit a billionaire who supports the Iraq War, spied on Muslim people, presided over racist police policies, voted for Bush Jr's second term, has been accused of misogyny by multiple women, and has the support of many mayors. That's ironic. It's taboo to mention these things (like how the Republican and Democratic establishments are almost identical in supporting the military industrial complex, submitting to Wall Street, and advancing privatization of many resources), but it is the truth. We know what this is about.
Every day, I see commercials of this candidate. It is clear that DNC leadership wants Bernie and Warren out of the way in order for some moderate like Bloomberg or Biden to win. While this is going on, Trump executed horrendous environmental policies. Trump supports eliminating environmental regulations, and our world has record climate change. Then, Trump harms consumer protections, environmental protections (by pushing out scientists cutting the EPA budget, and hiring people with overt conflicts of interests), eliminates workplace safety protections, and harms civil rights. Therefore, he is not fit to be President. One thing that I will give Andrew Yang credit for is his advocacy for the universal basic income. Instead of some marginalizing progressive candidates under the guise of "electability," these same folks should be thankful that progressives are fighting for justice now. The fact is that a 1 percent sales tax on Wall Street transactions can raise up to 300 billion dollars a year which can be used to fight student loan debt. These same folks should realize that moderates don't make real, structural changes in America. Only revolutionaries do like Malcolm X, Frederick Douglas, Harriet Tubman, and others. Trump is one of the worst, most racist Presidents in history. That hypocrite Joe Scarborough is right that many Bernie Bros. should not harass journalist or others, but he ignores how Chuck Todd quoted an article comparing Bernie supporters to the Brownshirts. Many (not all) in MSNBC have a vicious anti-Bernie bias. There are no excuses for us here. The only thing to do is to do what is right. Likewise, we are clear about what we want. We want a living wage, full universal health care for all, rights for workers, an end to police brutality, the repeal of the Taft Hartley Act, seniors having their retirement protected, investments in public infrastructure, and justice for all.
Netflix is promoting a documentary about who shot Malcolm X. This caused a possible new investigation about Malcolm X's assassination to come about. We welcome any new, independent investigation. The issue is that many documentaries sugarcoat the real life of our black leaders like Malcolm X. I don't know the components of this documentary, so I can't judge it either way. What I can do is to remind folks, who don't know, that Malcolm X was a revolutionary. It is important to find out who kill Malcolm X and why also. Malcolm X traveled overseas in Africa, Asia, Europe to promote Pan-Africanism (Malcolm X actually gave lectures in Africa, spoke with African leaders, and loved Africa). Malcolm X abhorred imperialism which is why he praised the anti-imperialist Patrice Lumumba. He wanted to unify black people worldwide in order to make America accountable for its crimes against black Americans. That is why the We Charge Genocide movement existed decades ago. Malcolm X publicly opposed the Vietnam War and capitalism in 1965. Malcolm X promoted women's rights, and he disagreed with Zionism in an interview before he died. Also, Malcolm X debated many people from his haters to others.
After his Hajj in 1964, Malcolm X further became involved in the international struggle of the oppressed winning the battle against the oppressor. To understand Malcolm X is to understand that we should focus on national issues, but that isn't enough. We have an international problem with racism and economic injustice. That is why Malcolm X said that the colonialism you see in the Congo is similar to what is taking place in the ghettos of America (i.e. you have the largest corporations on Earth financially benefiting from the pain, misery, and exploitation of the poor. Also, international racism is a reality). The CIA spied on him overseas, and the FBI plus the NYPD (via their BOSSI program) spied on him in America. It is not a secret that the FBI used COINTELPRO to harm revolutionary movements for social change. The State Department harassed Malcolm X.
His Organization for Afro-American Unity (OAAU) wanted black people, regardless of creed, to create solutions. The OAAU was used by Malcolm X to be part of the larger Pan-African community. Malcolm X, along with John Henrik Clarke, wrote the Organization of Afro-American Unity (OAAU) Basic Unity Program (which wanted African Americans to unify with Africans via communication). Therefore, we have to unite internationally in seeing justice made into a reality. J. Edgar Hoover wrote that the OAAU was a national security threat to America. The important question being why Malcolm X was assassinated ought to be analyzed. The why is that Malcolm X knew of the psychology of the wicked system (controlled by imperialists and those of the one percent) in general. He knew too much, and he wanted to do something about it in a wide, international scale. That is why Malcolm X wanted to unite us, who are black Americans, with black people around the world to end injustice. He was certainly a great hero among us.

News on this 2020 President's Day.
Joyce Meyer is one of the most popular proponents of the World Faith Movement and the Prosperity Gospel. Meyer has led sermons and other movements worldwide. When I was very young, I heard of her and her TV shows about religion. She has taught her followers that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins in Hell which is blatantly heretical. She even believe that Jesus was born again in hell, which is overt blasphemy. She cited the Amplified Bible to try to teach the World Faith false doctrine that Christians are little gods. Joyce Meyer in the Authority and Opposition, audio tape number 1236 says from her own mouth mentioned that: "... You know, I was listening to a set of tapes by one man and he explained it like this, and I think this kind of gets the point across, he said, "Why do people have such a fit about God calling His creation, but His man little gods? If He's God, what's He going to call them but the god-kind?'....Doesn't The Bible say we're created in his image? Now, you understand I am not saying you are God with the capital G." Like Kenneth Copeland and other World Faith preachers, she believes that Jesus Christ went to hell in our place. Joyce Meyer's booklet called, "The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make" makes the heretical claim that there is no hope of heaven unless we believe that Jesus took our place in hell. The New Testament is rather clear that Jesus Christ's atonement was on the cross. At the cross, it is finished. Joyce Meyer believes that angels tell her what to say from the pulpit. This is dangerous. The Bible is clear that Christians are led by the Holy Spirit not by angels. That is found in John 16:13. The World Faith movement believes that spoken words can create power, that humans are little gods, that Jesus earned our redemption in hell, and spoke words can cause wealth plus healing. This is ludicrous, but people believe in these doctrines. Words are powerful, but words don't have the power by themselves to change circumstances miraculously or manipulate God to do something for you. You can't compromise real beliefs. We have to purge out the old leaven as found in 1 Corinthians 5:7. Living life means embracing morality, joy, and sound doctrine. In that sense, people can stand fast in the Lord (1. Thess. 3:8).
Jesse Duplantis is a very well known Louisiana World Faith preacher. His ministry is called the Jesse Duplantis Ministries. Also, he works in the Charismatic tradition based in New Orleans, Louisiana. By 1976, he preached his first sermons. He was introduced by John Hagee as "The Apostle of Joy" on TBN. He uses humor too in his religious sermons. He is part of the Christians Untied for Israel (CUFI) which is promoted by John Hagee (who is a Trump supporter). I think people should stand with Jewish and Palestinian people who seek justice and peace in the region. That justice includes an end to oppression and an end to a brutal occupation while innocent Israelis and innocent Palestinians aren't mistreated at the same time. All people in the Middle East should have equality and human justice. Duplantis loves the use of his private jets. Once, Jesse said that Adam was smarter than God. He claimed that God didn't know what he was creating. Jesse Duplantis claimed to have a visit to Heaven. He said that King David told Jesse that he had regretted writing some of the Pslams which is not biblical. He said that Jesus was taller than he thought. He also claimed to be transported to Heaven by a chariot in August of 1988. Even Kirk Franklin criticized Jesse Duplantis for saying that God is not flying that plane. This was in 2018 when Jesse Duplantis asked for donations to buy his ministry another multi million dollar airplane. Franklin wrote that, "Many of these 'ministries' built their wealth on the backs of poor rural minorities that put their trust in the hands of God's shepherds only to see the prosperity benefit those doing the preaching...Again, there are Great Christian leaders, and there is nothing wrong with having a plane...but if the burden falls on the less fortunate and greed is the check written by those drowning in socio-economic rivers of systematic disparities, GOD is not flying that plane." Like always, we embrace discernment.
This 2020 Presidential election is very unique. One of the many surprises in the race was about how the races of Kamala Harris, Andrew Yang, and Cory Booker ended. Their discontinuing of their campaigns were about them not having enough resources to continue. Even in 2020, massive money is needed to maintain campaigns, to spread information, and to host rallies nationwide. Campaigns are brutal and hard. Candidates have to watch every word that they say, and they have to use strategies to organize debates plus policies to appeal to people. They myth from Trump is that America's economy is in record highs benefiting everyone. The reality is different. Trump's policies have not stop income inequality. This trend started for decades. The growth of for profit charter schools, the restructuring of the auto industry, and the refusal to change the Affordable Care Act into universal health care for real are realities. There is a decline in manufacturing employment since 1979. While Trump uses xenophobic tirades against Mexico and China about its workers, but auto jobs have declined worldwide. From 2016 to 2019, nominal wages rose only 6.79 percent. Total real compensation declined by 0.22 percent. There is no increase of the national minimum wage of $7.29 since 2009. Part time and gig work are more common place. Part time employment has risen 3.4 percent since 2000. 3 in 10 Americans relay on gig work for part of their income. The Brookings institute said that 44 percent of the U.S. workforce have low wage jobs. Nearly half of the country can't make an unexpected $400 expense without taking on debt. The wealth of the three richest Americans (Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, and Bill Gates) is more than the wealth of 150 million Americans (or 255 billion dollars) That is why the major leaders of both major parties are tied to Wall Street. Poverty and inequality can never be stopped until the whole structure of society is changed to benefit the people collectively not the 1 percent. Working class people and other oppressed people are fighting back. There are many strikes, many programs, and other actions. The neoliberal system doesn't work. Another shock is the rise of Michael Bloomberg. He has promoted stop and frisk and redlining for years before he issued his apology. He is in favor of the privatization of education. He has been accused of misogyny and profane language by his own workers. Also, he is trying to get the African American vote for winning Democratic primaries. The delegate increase of Buttegieg is uprising, because he is the one who is trying to be the front-runner (while claiming to oppose revolution). Pete Buttegeig's campaign falsely claimed that actor Keegan-Michael Key supported him, and senior advisor Lis Smith has been accused of using digital blackface in running a fake Nigerian account. What is not surprising is the Democratic centrist establishment trying to end the progressive political movement in the Democratic primary with rule changes, delays of voting, shameless corporate media support (one example is how Chuck Todd sad that he doesn't understand how Bernie Sanders is the front runner, and he quoted an article that slandered Bernie Supporters as Brownshirts when Bernie's family were victims of the Holocaust. The corporate media is silent on how one of Biden's supporters is calling Sanders a self hating person), and propping up moderates. You can't defeat Donald Trump with a candidate blaming redlining being gone for the financial crisis of 2008 or not wanting any increase of the minimum wage that Michael Bloomberg has advocated. The DNC neoliberals are allied, in many cases, to neocons like Bill Kristol and David Frum, because they want a more imperialistic, confrontational foreign policy.
Specialized car parts are commonplace. Air Coordinating devices have a compressor, condense, gas receiver, and other devices. The steering wheel has the steering column underneath it. Below that is the universal joint, the oil fill bung, the drag link, the steering arm, the pitman arm, and the steering gearbox. The sun visor is part of an automobile located on the interior just above the windshield (or windscreen). They are designed with a hinged flap that is adjustable to help shade the eyes of drivers and passengers from the glare of sunlight. It has been popularized since the 1920's.
Joe Gans was the first African American World Boxing Champion reigning continuously as a World Lightweight Champion from 1902 to 1908. He lived form 1874 to 1910. Many African American heavyweight boxing legends were Jack Johnson (1878-1946) and others who were brave in the early 20th century. Jack Johnson defeated Tommy Burns and Jim Jeffries. Jack Johnson survived many attempts from racists trying to kill him. Yet, he survived and lived to inspire future boxers. He beat Jim Jeffries in 1910. In 1926, ex-Marine Gene Tunney defeated Jack Dempsey for the World Heavyweight Boxing championship at Philadelphia in 1926. During the 1930's, Joe Lewis became a boxing heavyweight legend. He was beloved by black people and people of every color. He once lost to Max Schemling and then Joe Lewis defeated Max later in 1938 at New York City. Later, Joe Lewis would have more victories and ironically became friends with Max Schemling. Jake Lamotta was a famous middleweight fighter. Also, the pound for pound greatest boxer in history, Sugar Ray Robinson, would excel in the middleweight division too. Rocky Marciano would fight people too. By this time, Archie Moore and other legendary fighters would grow their legacies. During the 1960's, Muhammad Ali revolutionized boxing with his charisma, massive speed for a heavyweight, political activism, love of Blackness, and his confidence. He inspired many black people to love their black identities, and he became the greatest heavyweight fighter of all time with defeating Hall of Fame boxers in many occasions like Sonny Liston, Floyd Patterson, Joe Frazier, Joe Foreman, Ernie Shavers, Ken Norton, George Chuvalo, and other people. Sugar Ray Leonard was a fast boxer of the 1970's and 1980's who used his skills, speed, and endurance to defeat opponents. Mike Tyson dominated the heavyweight division in the 1980's with his accurate punches, defense, and power. He knocked out many opponents in a few rounds and sometimes in one round. More fighters like Roy Jones Jr., Evander Holyfield, Sweat Pea Whitaker, Riddick Bowe, Lennox Lewis, and other made great accomplishments in the 1990's. By the 21st century, fighters like Floyd Mayweather, Sugar Shane Mosley, Vitali Kitschko, Manny Pacquiao, and others have established new legacies in their boxing careers. In 2020, Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, and Tyson Fury are heavyweight fighters in the midst of the resurrection of the heavyweight division.

Speaking the Truth.
James Carville is once again with his antics. Now, I must refute him again. Carville once supported a moderate President, and now he believes in the myth that the DNC, corporate style ideology is the way to go. That isn't true, because corporate Democratic talking points won't end climate change, homelessness, economic inequality, racism, sexism, xenophobia, or any other injustice. Carville admitted that he is a political hack, he's no ideologue, and he opposes Bernie Sanders ideologically. This comes after Sanders criticized him over his compromising views. Carville rejects reparations for black Americans (yet, he wouldn't dare say in public that he opposes reparations for Jewish people or Native Americans. I'm consistent, because I believe in reparations for African Americans, Jewish people, and Native Americans). Carville said that at least he isn't a communist (being a notorious red baiter like his friend Chris Matthews) implying that Bernie Sanders is a communist. That is lie, because Bernie is pro-democratic socialist. He isn't a communist.
Some folks don't know the between socialism and communism. Some folks don't know the difference between New Deal policies (which Bernie supports) and Communism. There is a difference between Bolsheviks and Menseviks as well. If a person hates socialism, then that person should realize that the economic system that brought about slavery, the Holocaust, imperialism, and Wall Street predatory lending is not related to socialism. We know what that economic system is. Carvile believes that we must revert back to water down revolutionary talk and embrace pragmatism. The truth is that this is 2020 not 1999. Standing up for universal health care, immigration justice, an end to police brutality, and racial justice doesn't mean that we're in an ideological cult. It is just that we reject the centrist, neo-liberal cult. We are in a new generation, and we reject capitulation to the status quo. We want real change for working class people and all freedom loving people period.
What is shocking is that many people that I wouldn't expect are now supporting Michael Bloomberg, who was the former mayor of New York City. The rise of Bloomberg is funded by the corporate elites in trying to not only stop Bernie Sanders' campaign, but any progressive campaign for President like Elizabeth Warren's campaign too. We have seen time after time again how billionaires and the bourgeoisie (both black and black white bourgeoisie members) in many cases some of them have a hatred of working class people of every color. So, they prop up candidates in order to strife the anger at social injustices and permit compromise. Bloomberg is the same guy who has been accused of discrimination and mistreatment by many women. Bloomberg is the same man who stopped the Occupy Wall Street protests at a NYC park.
This is the person caught on tape making outrageous, racist lies in trying to justify the anti-liberty policy of stop and frisk. Some, even in my own community, have the nerve and the gall to publicly support this man funded by the political oligarchy. Bloomberg made these overtly racist comments in 2015 at a lecture at the Aspen Institute. He is the same guy who recently said that if you stand up for the rights of black people, then you're criticizing white guys collectively. He is in no position to harp on the progressive mantle when he supported George W. Bush's 2004 re-election campaign without any repudiation of that. Bloomberg said that every major city has murderers and criminals who are majority people of color. That is a lie. He wanted more cops into minority neighborhoods in NYC. These comments are similar to Trump's rhetoric. The truth is that black people don't use drugs at higher rates than white people, but black people are arrested at higher rates.
You have noticed that he never apologized for the stop and frisk injustice until he made his Presidential campaign in 2019. He is being disingenuous, because he wants votes. The disappointing thing, as a black person, is to witness folks like Gregory Meeks support this male's Presidential campaign. It's a betrayal of the struggle against violations to our civil liberties. There are certain members of the upper middle class and rich bourgeoisie section of my community that don't care about the interests of working class and poor black Americans. That is why they love to embrace neo-liberal, corporate talking points.
Some folks want Bloomberg since they fear that many voters would rather vote for Trump than a progressive candidate. Yet, we have to cast out fear and vote for a best candidate for the job. Bloomberg has spent more than $300 million in his own campaign. To end racism, homelessness, health care disparities, etc. we are going to need people united in a struggle against these evils via collective efforts, political strength, social activism, and a social consciousness.

The 2020 New Hampshire Primary.
Today, the New Hampshire primary is over. Bernie Sanders is the winner. The other persons in 2nd and 3rd place are Pete Buttegieg and Amy Klobuchar. Like usual, many in the corporate media love neoliberal status quo than liberation. Buttegieg is completely wrong that society doesn't need a revolution. The anti-slavery movement in America was a revolution to end tyranny. The Civil Rights Movement was the revolutionary movement that ended Jim Crow apartheid. With the crisis going on in America from climate change to racial injustice, nothing short of a revolution is key in creating a society that makes justice for all a reality. Sanders had 26 percent, Buttegieg had 24 percent, and Klobuchar had 20 percent. Sanders won many of the urban centers of New Hamsphire. Voter turnout was up compared to 2016. Sanders carried Manchester, Nashua, and Portsmouth including Concord. One thing that shocked me is that some in MSNBC want to praise Bloomberg, who is the same guy who supported stop and frisk to get minorities until he was forced to apologize. Bloomberg is the guy that the establishment desires if Biden and the other moderates fail to defeat Bernie Sanders. Also, Michael Bennett and Andrew Yang closed their campaigns now. Warren and Biden are no in a struggle. Nevada is next with its caucus on February 22. Klobuchar has increased her popularity after the New Hampshire debate. She is a moderate. The truth is that every successful movement in America wasn't a result of moderation. It was a product of revolutionary change from the New Deal to environmental standards.
Trump is certainly an existential threat to our democracy. His budget proposal wants to to cut $30 billion from Social Security and $850 billion form Medicare. That is why we must vote this male out of office. He also wants to cut $270 billion from Medicaid. Also, it is important to realize that FOX News is Trump state TV with their overt bias. We have issues in America. Did you know that Amazon paid a 1.2% tax rate which is very small. Did you know that 44 percent of all American workers earn $18,000 per year? Did you know that 40 percent of Americans don't have 500 dollars for an emergency situation? Therefore, this economic situation in America is not infallible or perfect regardless of what Trump says. Not to mention that yes, I do believe in reparations for African Americans, I do believe in addressing redlining, and I do agree with addressing climate change. The criminal justice system has ruined the lives of people, and the racial wealth gap is real. Trump fired Gordon Sondland and Alexander Vindman because of personal revenge. Both men followed subpoenas, told the truth, and showed courage.
The corporate media even on so-called "liberal" (actually neo-liberal) networks have praised Bloomberg, because they want a centrist alternative. It is as simple that that. Some in MSNBC and CNN (not all people in those networks) make it their business to show more hatred of progressive populism & democratic socialism than the heinous bigotry of Trumpism. FOX News people present the falsehood that the other networks are far left. That isn't case, because large corporations fund those other networks. Many in those other networks have a hatred of not only Sanders and Warren. They reject the premise of revolutionary change being a necessity to build up the infrastructure of our society. For the record, I don't worship FOX, because they have a long track record of promoting racists and reactionary extremists like Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, and once Bill O'Reilly (who was fired). FOX is not fair and balanced obviously.
Time after time again have shown us that structural change is necessary. For example, the U.S. Civil War didn't end by centrism or moderation. It ended by the unconditional defeat of racist Confederates. Civil disobedience, protests, boycotts, and other radical methods were used to cause the Voting Rights and Civil Rights Acts to be passed. Labor strikes and outright opposition to economic oppression made Social Security a reality. The same NY Times that slandered Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. back in 1967 because of his anti-Vietnam war stance is still trying to mention that defeating Trump means to water down your views. I disagree. To defeat Trump politically is to expand the base you do have and promote comprehensive, progressive solutions to real problems in our world. Freedom is not determined by polls, the hands of a clock, or sudden delay. Freedom ought to exist by birthright for all people.
The birthday of a great person had came about. She is Sister Kelly Rowland, and she is now 39 years old. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Later, she lived in Houston, Texas at the age of 8. At Houston, she met her lifelong friend Beyonce. She joined the group Girl's Tyme. Later, she was part of Destiny's Child with her best friend Beyonce. Destiny's Child existed by 1993. Their popularity exploited by 1997. Destiny's Child exploited to make women empowerment anthems. From Say My Name to Survivor, people remember their records. Afterwards, Kelly Rowland made her own solo musical career. She can act too. She was in the Seat Filler movie. She worked with Beyonce to found the Survivor Foundation to help victims of the Hurricane Katrina disaster with housing. She released Ms. Kelly and the when Love Takes Over song (which deals with pop music). Kelly Rowland is her own beautiful black woman. She is a business woman, and she worked with fitness expert Jeanette Jenkins in releasing exercise DVDs. She is married with Tim Weatherspoon, and they have one child. Kelly Rowland can do R&B, pop, dance, and other genres of music. Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson inspired her musically. Kelly Rowland has helped those with HIV/AIDS in Africa s well. Always an inspiration, she shows us that her beautiful voice is part of a humble, magnificent black woman. I wish Sister Kelly Rowland More Blessings.

On the Eve of the 2020 New Hampshire Primary.
The 2020 Iowa primary will go down as one of the most bizarre primaries in American history. The Democratic Party establishment is very clear that they are trying their best to stop Bernie Sanders’ momentum. Later, National Democratic Committee Chairman Tom Perez wants the Iowa Democratic Party to start a recanvas of the stats because of app issues. The final figures from the Iowa Democratic Party mentioned that Sanders had more than 6,000 votes ahead of Pete Buttegieg (who is the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana). This caucus took place on February 3, 2020. Sanders had 24.8 percent of the vote compared to 21.3 percent for Buttegieg. Sanders had a smaller lead in the 2nd round. Sanders won more popular votes, but the delegates won was nearly a tie among Sanders and Buttegieg. Perez wants an audit of worksheets and reporting form every precinct and satellite caucus. He wants to check for inconsistencies, math errors, and other mistakes. The result of this could change the Iowa caucus results against many candidates. The Iowa State Democratic Party Chairman is Troy Price, who apologized for the Iowa debacle. Price was the Iowa state director for Hilary Clinton's’ campaign back in 2016. He later became state chairman. Perez was praised by the Clinton wing of the party. Do you see a pattern here? The issue is that the Bernie Sanders’s campaign is scaring the Democratic establishment. We know of Bernie’s imperfections. Yet, it is bigger than that. It is about the DNC’s fear of the larger public not being afraid of the socialist term (and of revolutionary change as the moderates wants piecemeal changes). Many people in the public include working people and the youth who want to fight war, militarism, and economic injustice. Bernie’s eloquent speeches play into that movement. That is why Vice President Joe Biden has criticized socialism without explaining its definition. Biden has lost the Iowa caucus and is expected to not be victorious in New Hampshire. The Sanders campaign said that it has raised $25 million from more than 648,000 donors in January of 2020. That is the best fundraising month of his campaign. Many people funding his campaign are teachers, Post Office workers, those from Target, those form Amazon, etc. Some in the DNC have more hatred of democratic socialism (that Dr. King and others have praised) or socialism in general than Donald Trump in my view. The Iowa caucus took a long delay in releasing results. About 175,000 people participated in the caucus meetings. Bloomberg is supported by many corporate interests in case Biden loses the nomination. The Sanders and Warren faction of the party wants more progressive people to lead the Democratic Party. The more moderate Biden-Buttigeieg-Bloomberg-Klobuchar wing wants to gain power in order for more centrists to run the party. The truth is that Trump is an existential threat to democracy. He must be voted out of office on November 2020.
The biology is hair is very diverse and interesting. Hair can transmit sensory information. It acts as a barrier to foreign particles. Hair can renew itself. When a fetus exists, all of its hair follicles are formed by week 22. About one million follicles are on the head, and 100,000 are on the scalp. As people get older, the density of hair follicles declines. The hair follicle is found below the skin and the hair shaft is the hair that we see. The hair follicle is the part of the hair that lives. It has cells and connective tissue. The base of the hair follicle has the papilla with tiny blood vessels called capillaries. These cells nourish the cells. The germinal matrix of the follicle produces new hairs. The bulb surrounds the papilla and germinal matrix. It’s fed by capillaries. The bulb has many stem cells that divide every 23 to 72 hours. It can deal with hormones that affect hair growth and structures during puberty and other stages of human life. The sebaceous gland produces sebum or oil that acts as the human natural conditioner. Sebum is high during puberty that increases acne. It declines with age causing the human skin to be dry. The hair shaft is the part of the hair that we see, and it’s dead. It has keratin or protein. It has the innermost layer, the middle layer, and the outermost layer. Hair grows about 6 inches per year. Stage 1 of hair growth is the anagen phase, the stage 2 is the catagen phrase (or in transition), and stage 3 is the telogen phrase of resting phrase. Hair shape is different among people too. Some people have curly hair, straight, thick, shiny, or other types of hair. The curl of the hair is determined by its cross sectional shape. Straight hair has a mostly circular circumference. Curly or kinky hair is flat. The more circular the hair shaft, the straighter the hair. The flatter the shaft, the curlier the hair is. Color, texture, and thickness of hair can change over time involving human aging.
In 1867, the Marquees of Queensberry rules were drafted by John Chambers for amateur championships held at Lillie Bridge in London for Lightweights, Middleweights, and Heavyweights. The rules were published under the patronage of the Marquees of Queensberry, whose name was associated with them. These rules were about having 12 rules. They specified that fights would be a fair standing fight. The ring would be a 24 foot square or similar ring. Each round had three minutes with a one minute rest in each round. Gloves were used. Later, matches were more strategic with more defensive maneuvers like slipping, bobbing, countering, and angling. Boxers evolved to use their hands held closer to the face and a more forward stance. Back in the 19th century, many prize fighting was banned in areas of the UK and America. Prizefighting resulted in riots. England banned bare knuckle brawls in 1882 via the case of R v. Coney. Jim Corbett was the first world heavyweight champion under the Queensberry rules. He defeated John L. Sullivan in 1892 at the Pelican Athletic Club in New Orleans. Many boxers fought for legitimacy. Today, boxing is a multibillion dollar business. It is found globally. Many fighters come from poor backgrounds. Some are from Mexico, America, Africa, South America, and Eastern Europe. Young talent is found in inner cities of New York City, Chicago, Detroit, Flint, Los Angeles, and other places.
Hair classification is known by many people. Other people never heard of these things a day in their lives. The curl type of human beings is very fascinating to know. Hairstylist Andrew Walker created this system, and it has been changed to include curly haired people. This system is not perfect, but it shows the diversity of how our hair is shown. Curl type is known by the shape of the follicle that comes out from anyone’s scalp. The curl pattern is known about how the hair kink, curve, or wind around into spirals. 1s are straight, 2s are wavy, 3s are curly, and 4s are coily. There are sub divisions of A to C, which is determined by width or diameter of the wave, curl, or coil pattern. As have a wider pattern size, Bs have medium, and Cs is the smallest of the threes. 2As is easy to straighten. 2Bs are flatter at the crown with defined S-shaped waves starting from the midlength. 2Cs waves are thick, coarse, and can frizz. 3As are shiny and have loose curls. 3Bs have coarse, springy ringlets with the circumference from many types. It can be densely packed together. Type 4 hair is common among African Americans and people of black African descent. It is kinky hair and it can be soft and fine. Small curls of zig zags from the scalp are common. 4As have dense springy, A-patterned coils. 4Bs are strands that are densely packed and bend into sharp angles. Issa Rae has 4B hair. 4Cs have tightly coiled strands. They have zig zag pattern. Lupita Nyong’o has a 4C type of hair. Shea Moisture Red Palm Oil and Cocoa Butter Curl Stretch Pudding help those with 4C type of hair.
Boxing is a sport without apologies. It includes regulated violence. You have to keep it real on many things. Not only have people have been seriously injured as a product of a boxing match. Many people have died as an aftermath in the ring. That is why any boxer is brave. You have to be brave to be willing to fight for rounds knowing what the risks are. You have to be brave to train by running, using weights, sparring, and utilizing other means to be the best boxer possible. We learn lessons from many boxers too. Consciousness and love of justice have been shown by Muhammad Ali. Excellent defense have been shown by Pep and Sweat Pea Whitaker. Clarissa Shields has shown the world that any fighter with great accomplishments should be respected. Therefore, boxing as a sport as expanded into an international level since its invention many thousands of years ago. The flash of modern boxing today deals with the evolution of the sport. We witness records being broken by Floyd Mayweather and his 50-0 record. Likewise, we realize that the essence of boxing isn’t just about the training, the skills, or the athleticism. It is about will and heart. A lot of people have talent, but it takes heart in order for anyone to become a great boxer. How a fighter can overcome adversity signifies how great a fighter is. When Muhammad Ali was in the fight in Zaire with George Foreman, many media people doubted that Muhammad Ali would defeat Foreman. Yet, Ali proved the naysayers wrong by knocking Foreman out. When Sugar Ray Leonard defeated Duran after Leonard was defeated the first time, Leonard proved that he was brave plus one of the greatest fighters in history. Putting life into perspective makes sense. That is why we believe in honoring the sacrifice of those who participate in sports.
Paula White is not only a prosperity gospel proponent. She is one of the most outspoken leaders in favor of the racist and sexist Donald Trump. She has supported Trump so much that she ignores his heinous policies. She is the spiritual adviser to Trump too. Recently, White made the offensive remark that she metaphorically wants all “satanic” pregnancies to miscarriage. Paula White said that she became a Christian in 1984 at 18. She said that she had a vision after her conversion. She is an ordained minister, and she studied at National Bible College and Seminary. Paula White teaches that salvation includes healing and physical healing plus financial abundance in this life are provided for the atonement of Christ. This is heretical, because salvation has nothing to do with material financial abundance. Years ago, many of her shows were on BET, CMT, and TBN. T.D. Jakes supported White when he invited her to speak at his “Woman Thou Art Loosed” conference back in 2000. The irony is that Paula White has publicly denied being part of or supporting the prosperity gospel movement. She does believe that Christians give in order to gain material wealth from God. On Easter Sunday service in 2016, she said that salvation would come to a TV viewer if they donated a “Resurrection seed” to her ministry. As for her support for Trump, Roland Martin did do a great job in refuting the agenda of Trump and saying that White is wrong for giving great support to him. Paula White believes that God raised up Trump to be President. She made the heretical statement that even resisting the most bigoted agenda of Trump is equivalent to resisting God. The truth is that we follow God unconditionally not Caesar unconditionally. Donald Trump has made it his business to praise Neo-Nazis and neo-Confederates as “fine people” after the Charlottesville disaster. Trump has used sexist remarks against women without apology. He has been accused of rape and sexual assault by many women too. Trump allowed babies on the border to be placed in internment camps. He treated immigrants as less than human. That was wrong. Many pastors like Rev. William Barber have spoken out on these conditions and promoted voting rights for black Americans including all Americans in opposition to voter suppression laws. Trump is a habitual liar. Paula White claims that demonic networks lie about Trump, but Trump has shown his hand as disrespecting black people, women, and other minorities in graphic terms. Paula White is afraid to meet with pastors who disagree with the political views of Trump. Therefore, Paula White accepts the deception of the person of Trump.

News in early February of 2020.
Certainly, Trump is petty. Trump has slammed Democrats and Romney at a prayer breakfast where Pelosi was at too. This comes after Trump Jr. made a vulgar, disrespectful treat about Mitt Romney. This shows that Trump and his allies have no respect for decorum or common decency. The NY Times reported that many Republicans voted for Trump in the Senate out of fear. To his credit, Mitt Romney has been courageous to vote for Trump to be removed from office for abuse of power. The history books will mention him as the only Republican to have done so. Trump's words at the Prayer Breakfast are wrong and inappropriate. A prayer breakfast is about religious expression and being above the divisions that exist in America. Trump is wrong to give Rush Limbaugh the Medal of Freedom. Rush disparaged black people for decades, said that he wanted to mock black people by saying that he is speaking with a "negro dialect" , called Barack Obama the magic "negro," disrespected Michelle Obama, and said sexist comments about Krystal Ball. Rush also mocked Michael J. Fox having Parkinson disease. He said about African Americans that we (who are black Americans) are 12 percent of the population and no one should care about us.
The school , which is part of the Saline Area Schools, in Michigan had more tensions after a Latino American man was disrespected by a parent's racist remark. First, America is strengthen by its diversity. On a daily basis, I encounter people of many walks of life. I don't view them as lesser than me because of their color or their sex or their background that they are born to be. The racist said to the Latino American parent that he should go to Mexico not knowing the man's history or life story. A heroic black man defended the Latino American man by saying that folks should end that racist rhetoric. The reality is that many places in America plus worldwide have serious issues with racism. The African American father's son has been the victim of racist slurs directed at him and others. Many people in the audience disagreed with the racist too. The name of the African American is Brian Wright. The Latino American name is Adrian Iraola. His son was also the victim of racial slurs done by students. That is why it is important to put pressure on society to eliminate structural racism, economic oppression, and any form of oppression. You have to build in society, and you have to speak up about these issues. Helping your neighbor means helping your neighbor for real.
Today is a historic day. The Senate voted "not guilty on both articles of impeachment (i.e. abuse of power and obstruction of justice). This means that Trump right now is not kicked out of his office. As usual, many Republicans supported their party above the principle of holding a rogue President accountable for his erroneous actions. Also, it is important to note that Mitt Romney gave an emotional speech about how Trump is guilty of an "appalling abuse of the public trust." Romney is the Senator from Utah, a Republican, and ran for President before. Romney voted to convict Donald Trump for the abuse of power charge. He is the only Republican Senator to have done so. Romney is right to say that Trump did an act involving Ukraine that is a high crime and misdemeanor. Trump asked a foreign government to find "dirt" on his political rival being Joe Biden. He withheld military funds from the Ukraine to press it to do so. He has been stubborn to disregard legal subpoenas. He has cursed out brave, peaceful protesters, and he has slandered progressive activists for years. Many Democrats did the right thing to vote for the conviction of Donald Trump. Trump's abuse of power, his racism, his sexism, and his xenophobia are overt, cruel, and heinous. Now, the election in 2020 is here. The impeachment situation is a campaign issue. That is why it is important to defend the rule of law, to believe in democratic rights, and to fight to end any injustice in our world.
Today is the Birthday of the late Bob Marley. He was one of the great reggae songwriters. He and Peter Tosh took reggae into another level. Marley would preach in his songs about love, pan-African unity, and his life in Jamaica. He believed in human togetherness. As a songwriter, his words displayed the diversity of his emotions. He had 11 children. His album Legend was the best selling reggae album of all time. He celebrated the sport of soccer, and he was a person who was respected worldwide. He lived in England where he recorded the albums Exodus and Kaya. His songs of One Love, Exodus, and Jamming live onward forever. He performed in America by the latter part of his career. He was in the Rastafari movement. Later, he was baptized in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church shortly before his passing. He not only helped to internationalize reggae music. Redemption song is probably the greatest song he made lyrically and message wise. He helped to promote unity and equality among human beings.

The late Natalie Cole's birthday was yesterday. She would be 70 years old today. She was a classic singer like her father the late Nat King Cole. He made many hits like This Will Be, Inseparable, and Our Love. She sold over 30 million records worldwide. She was an actress too with one child. She was born in Los Angeles, California. Her mother was Maria Hawkins Ellington. Her debut album was Inseparable. She won a Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. Her song Unforgettable in 1991 was very popular. She did the song in honor of her father. Her Unforgettable album sold more than 7 million copies in America alone. It won many Grammys including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Performance for the top song. She was in the movie Livin' for Love: The Natalie Cole Story which she played herself. She won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special. She was honored by many legends from Mary Wilson to Gladys Knight. Her memory lives on.

The 2020 State of the Union Address.
The State of the Union address from Trump has been over. We live in an unique time of extreme partisanship and a confusion set of events. We still haven't' seen the victor of the Iowa Caucus. The situation in Iowa was so bad that the Iowa Democratic leader has publicly apologize for the fiasco. During the whole Trump speech during the State of the Union address, House leader Nancy Pelosi tore up the speech. She said that she did it because she believed that it was the courteous thing to do. Trump's speech was typical red meat for his far right base, and many Democrats walked off from the area, because of the cruelty of his speech. Trump wants to cut food stamps, cut Medicare, and Trump is notoriously lying. Trump said that he wants to protect pre-existing conditions, but he is in court in trying to end the ACA. Trump is overt in his racism and xenophobia. For example, Donald Trump have called black women low IQ and a dog. No black woman should be called out of her name. No black man should be called out of his name. His policies benefit big corporations, he believes in cutting legitimate environmental regulations, and he makes a mockery of democratic freedoms.
One of Trump's lies in his State of the Union address is that poverty is plummeting. The reality is that almost half of Americans don't have 400 dollars in dealing with an emergency situation. 140 million Americans live in poverty. 62 million Americans live making less than a living wage. Trump lied and said that undocumented human beings are destroying health care. The reality is that undocumented human beings pay million of dollars in taxes and Social Security. Trump refuses to shake Nancy Pelosi's hand. Trump issued a right wring tirade not only against socialism. It was a tirade against progressive values in general. In his usual fashion, Trump disrespected immigrants, attacked his political opponents, and claimed that the American economy is at its strongest in history. Regardless of Trump's words of claiming that the economy is strong, we have records levels of social inequality, global conflicts, and opposition to his administration. Trump lied and said that socialism destroys nations when what destroys nations revolve around corruption, racism, sexism, capitalist exploitation, xenophobia, and bad policies from the 1 percent.
Trump awarding Rush Limbaugh the Medal of Freedom is wrong and disgraceful. For decades, he or Rush has spewed overtly racist and other bigoted comments. Now, I don't wish him ill will from cancer. We wish him to recover from cancer. Yet, I have every right to disagree with Rush ideologically. Limbaugh has divided Americans for a long time. Trump gloated over his assassination of Iranian leader General Qassim Suleimani, which was a war crime that brought America almost to war with Iran. Trump abhors universal health care when millions of Americans now either can't afford health care or have expensive health care costs to pay for. Change must happen involving health care. The celebration of the 100 year old Tuskegee Airman Brigadier General Charles McGee was important and vital. McGee was involved in the liberation of millions of people from tyranny and oppression during World War II. The overall point is that you need to address poverty, infrastructure, education, health care, climate change, and other important matters. Trump's words advance imperialism, plutocracy, and the reactionary status quo.
Yesterday was the Birthday of the late, great legend of Rosa Parks. A lot of people don't know that Rosa Parks supported the Black Panthers and viewed Malcolm X as a hero. She was active in the struggle long before the 1950's. Her life existed in the realm of courage plus a love of justice. She was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. Rosa Parks always believed in self defense. She lived on a farm as a child and was raised in the AME church as a large number of African Americans are Baptists and AME members. She was married to Raymond Parks in 1932. She joined the Montgomery Chapter of the NAACP back in December of 1943. She refused to get up from a bus in Montgomery, Alabama. Later, she worked with others in the historic 1950's Montgomery Bus Boycott.
She was mentored by one of the grandmothers of the civil rights movement, Septima Clark. Rosa Parks defended the rights of homeowners, prisoners unjustly imprisoned, and the oppressed. She lived in Detroit where she worked with John Conyers on political issues. Rosa Parks supported the Selma voting rights movement, the Freedom Now Party, and she was a friend to Malcolm X. Later on, she fought apartheid in South Africa. She fought police brutality and was involved in the Black Power Movement. Rosa Parks was an icon who saw wrong and desired to end it. She had a glorious light, and now she is in the presence of our ancestors and the Most High receiving her just crowns of glory.
Rest in Power Sister Rosa Parks.

The Day of the 2020 Iowa Primary.
During the age of ancient Rome, boxing was a popular spectator sport in ancient Rome. Fighters had to protect themselves. They used leather thongs around their fists. Later, harder leather was used and the thong soon became a weapon. The Romans used metal studs on the thongs to make the cestus. Roman Amphitheaters were where such fighting events took place. The Roman form of boxing was often a fight until the death to please the spectators who gathered at such events. In later times, purchases slaves and trained combat performers were used as valuable people in the sport. Their lives were exploited. Many slaves were forced to fight against each other in a circle marked on the floor. By 393 A.D., during the Roman gladiator period, boxing was abolished because of excessive brutality. It wasn’t until the late 16th century when boxing re-surfaced in London. Records of classical boxing activity disappeared after the fall of the Western Roman Empire. Many people used weapons and using fists waned. There were many accounts of fist fighting sports in different cities and provinces of Italy between the 12th and 17th centuries. There was the sport in ancient Rus called Kulachny Boy or Fist Fighting. As the wearing of swords became less common, there was renewed interest in fencing with the fists. The sport would later resurface in England during the early 16th century in the form of bare-knuckle boxing sometimes referred to as prizefighting. The first documented account of a bare-knuckle fight in England appeared in 1681 in the London Protestant Mercury, and the first English bare-knuckle champion was James Figg in 1719. This is also the time when the word "boxing" first came to be used. This earliest form of modern boxing was very different. Contests in Mr. Figg's time, in addition to fist fighting, also contained fencing and cudgeling. On January 6, 1681, the first recorded boxing match took place in Britain when Christopher Monck, 2nd Duke of Albemarle (and later Lieutenant Governor of Jamaica) engineered a bout between his butler and his butcher with the latter winning the prize.
Early fighting back then had no written rules. There were no weight divisions or round limits, and no referee. In general, it was extremely chaotic. An early article on boxing was published in Nottingham, 1713, by Sir Thomas Parkyns, a successful Wrestler from Bunny, Nottinghamshire, who had practiced the techniques he described. The article, a single page in his manual of wrestling and fencing, Progymnasmata: The inn-play, or Cornish-hugg wrestler, described a system of head-butting, punching, eye-gouging, chokes, and hard throws, not recognized in boxing today. The first modern boxing rules were called the Broughton’s rules. It was introduced by champion Jack Broughton in 1743 to protect fighters in the ring where deaths sometimes happened. Under these rules, if a man went down and could not continue after a count of 30 seconds, the fight was over. Hitting a downed fighter and grasping below the waist were prohibited. Broughton encouraged the use of 'mufflers', a form of padded bandage or mitten, to be used in 'jousting' or sparring sessions in training, and in exhibition matches. These rules did allow the fighters an advantage not enjoyed by today's boxers; they permitted the fighter to drop to one knee to end the round and begin the 30-second count at any time. Thus a fighter realizing he was in trouble had an opportunity to recover. However, this was considered "unmanly” and was frequently disallowed by additional rules negotiated by the Seconds of the Boxers. Modern boxing has a three minute limit to rounds (unlike the downed fighter ends the round rule). Intentionally going down in modern boxing will cause the recovering fighter to lose points in the scoring system. Furthermore, as the contestants did not have heavy leather gloves and wrist wraps to protect their hands, they used different punching technique to preserve their hands because the head was a common target to hit full out. Almost all period manuals have powerful straight punches with the whole body behind them to the face (including forehead) as the basic blows. The London Prize Ring Rules introduced measures that remain in effect for professional boxing to this day, such as outlawing butting, gouging, scratching, kicking, hitting a man while down, holding the ropes, and using resin, stones or hard objects in the hands, and biting.
Creflo Dollar is one of the world’s most famous Prosperity Gospel preachers. He is a dedicated follower of its doctrines for decades now. His ally is the well-known Kenneth Copeland. His radio and TV show called “Changing Your World” is very popular. He has been on programs worldwide and in the Trinity Broadcasting Network plus the Lesea network. He is the pastor of the World Changers Christian Center. That is a non-denominational church in College Park, Georgia. It has a $6.5 million gold dome. Creflo said that he paid 18 million in cash for his new facility. It has 8,000 seats and a plastic container for offerings at the end of each row. The church has over 20,000 members. He has two Rolls Royce’s. He plies in a private jet worth multiple millions of dollars. He has a wife with five children. He has a bachelor’s degree in education. Creflo like other prosperity preachers said that mere humans are gods: “…See if you are truly a child of God, if you were born out of God, you got to be a part of the God class. I know I’m not God. But I’m a child of the Most High…I’m a part of the God class…. But then the next verse says, “Because you did not believe you were gods, you’re going to die like men.” But it says you’re gods. And I said now, Lord, wait a minute here. How we going to prove this? Because I kept hearing over and over again all this week, we need to have a God training class for Christians. So they can start acting…”) (Our equality with God through righteousness 1/21/2001). The reality is that Psalms 82:6-8 said that, “I said, 'You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High. But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes." The biblical application of this verse was addressed to the judges of Israel they were called gods not because they were divine but because they represented the true and only God when they judged the people. The word for God that is used here is elohim, which can mean rulers, (not Yahweh elohim used only for the one God). The word for Judges is found in Ex.21:22; 22:8-9 it is ha elohim (other scriptures of how the acted Deut.1:16;16:18; 25:1; 2 Sam.11:7). Creflo said the false doctrine that God made a duplicate of himself when he made Adam: “So when God made man all he did was take a reflection of him… So he said let us make another speaking spirit. When God made Adam all he did was make an exact imprint of hisself. He duplicated himself, he was the image and from his image came hisself…" (Our equality with God through Righteousness 1/21/2001). The reality is that Adam was not God. He wasn’t a duplicate of God. The Scriptures mentioned that God alone is eternal, uncreated, uncaused, and infinite. Creflo agrees with the Mind Science position by saying, “Growing into sonship means that you grow in your ability to operate as a “little God” (a replica of the Father) in the earth” (World Changers magazine, p.6, Dec. 2002). Creflo Augustus Dollar Jr. was born in College Park, Georgia on January 28, 1962. Dollar justifies his teachings by saying that God wants righteous people to inherit wealth on this Earth. He wants people to claim it and he believes in the myth that righteousness, wealth, and riches go hand in hand. He believes that faith is a spiritual force that leads to prosperity. The truth is that wealth isn’t necessary a sign of righteousness as some of the wicked people in human history were rich. We must use logic and science plus prayer to deal with health issues as health issues exist by many reasons not because of a lack of faith. The Gospel is about changing lives, helping others, and having glory without a lust for material wealth. There is nothing wrong with houses, clothes, and cars. What is the problem is about how some want to promote the falsehood that material wealth is a prerequisite of salvation or righteousness. That is the problem.
We live in very interesting, exciting times. The 2020 Presidential election, in my view, is the most important election of my lifetime. The paradox is that the Democratic race in 2020 started with candidates representing the most diverse field among one of the two major parties in American history. Although, Kamala Harris, Julian Castro, Corey Booker, and other candidates left the race because of financial issues. This upcoming election is a referendum on what we Americans desire for our future. At the end of the day, this is for our descendants' future. Donald Trump is obvious on what he is. Trump has obstructed the execution of legal subpoenas, he has tried to intimidate witnesses, he has cursed out heroic, peaceful protesters (involving the NFL), and he has been implicated in numerous scandals (from Trump University to the Ukrainian scandal). Trump has been a habitual liar. The Democratic Party is also having an internal debate. Some want the Democrats to become more progressive, and some want it to embrace a more moderate approach. The DNC rule change that deals with debates (or candidates will no longer need to meet any specific requirements. For example, the candidate will need a few polls or earn a delegate in Iowa or New Hampshire to join a debate) have caused a benefit to candidates like Michael Bloomberg. This change have caused anger from many progressives. Michael Moore spoke out against Bloomberg, Bloomberg talks about his support for gun control, his policies to fight climate change, and his efforts to expand health care. Yet, many people don't know that Bloomberg imposed a five year wage freeze after the 2008 financial crisis, demanded cuts to pensions, eliminated more than 6,000 teaching positions, closed 20 fire companies, and promoted stop and frisk in New York City as mayor (he recently apologized for that bad stop and frisk policy). Bloomberg is in the race in part because of Warren and Sanders talking about having billionaires experiencing true accountability in their lives via progressive economic policies. Joe Biden, Pete Buttegieg, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, and Bernie Sanders are the leading candidates so far. What we do agree on is that we desire environmental protections, an expansion of health care, the elimination of economic inequality, promoting racial justice, and the love of democratic freedoms. History teach us that structural change is necessary beyond piecemeal policies, in causing our world to see an egalitarian, justice-filled existence. That is the truth. Social Security, civil rights laws, voting rights laws, Medicare, Medicaid, and other progressive policies existed by sacrifice, revolutionary action, and courage not moderation. The Democratic race is less diverse, but the backbone of the Democratic Party are black people. No one can win the election without black people, other people of color, women, young people, working class people, rural people, people of the urban communities, and other minorities. That's reality. Our lives matter, and voting matters. The reason is that voting determines education benefits, voting rights, which judges are on the courts, who will you have in city council, and how your resources are allocated to your communities. Therefore, this is about our freedom being protected and expanded as justice is for all.
