700 Club Psychics? Clairvoyants for Jesus?

I generally don't care much for religious programs. However, knowing that millions of people are attracted to such programs, I find myself compelled to see exactly what people are being dished out by these so-called "Christians." I've been watching The 700 Club lately, analyzing it, and I see Satan at work. I see them as borderline psychics, who exploit Christianity to make money and con people. On the show, Gordon Robertson and Terry Meeuwsen regularly join hands in a prayer segment, which is then followed by a psychic type reading, where they specify details of who is being healed in TV land. It's creepy! Are The 700 Club hosts, Pat Robertson, Gordon Robertson and Terry Meeuwsen, psychics? On today's show, Gordon and Terry prayed while holding hands, and then claimed that the following healings had taken place as a result of their prayers on TV ...

Someone with an "abscessed right tooth," has just now been healed.
Someone with "twisted intestines" has just been healed.
Then Terry said there was a person with a "strange condition," a burning in the legs, who has just been healed.
Then Gordon said there's a man with swelling of the sinuses in his right cheek, with much pain behind the right eye, but he is now healed.
Someone with a painful right elbow joint no longer has any pain.

Someone with a problematic right hip, limited mobility from a stroke, is now able to walk.
Terry said she saw someone with severe stiffness in the neck bone, but didn't know the exact ailment--that person is now healed, terry said.

Someone paralyzed on the right side, particularly the right side of the face, has just been healed.
A man with a plate in his skull is having continual problems, and the doctors just don't know what to do. Terry said she saw the bone reforming around the plate and the man's pain was gone, he was now healed.

These are the crazy and absurd claims of these so-called "Christians." As I listened to their bizarre claims, I wrote them down, as listed above. How can they claim to see such healings? Folks, this is CLAIRVOYANCE (i.e., Apparent power to perceive things that are not present to the senses), and is exactly what the Satanic psychics do!!! How in the world would Gordon Robertson and Terry Meeuwsen know who is being healed? How can you see someone's bone reforming inside their head? The Word of God never teaches any such demonic practice. I dare you to show me from the Bible, where God said he would give us some mystical power of being able to see or know what is going on in someone else's body. It is extremely dangerous to dabble in familiar spirits. The hosts of The 700 Club are leading the public to believe that they have some special power with God, the ability to see who is being healed. They do not! It is a psychological scam to seduce suffering people into giving The 700 Club more money. And it works! The Christians Broadcasting Network (CBN) took in $160,000,000 in 2005 alone!

VIRGINIA BEACH — Pat Robertson’s television ministry continues to ride a wave of ever-mounting contributions, which have almost doubled in less than a decade.
Donors gave $160 million to Robertson’s Christian Broadcasting Network, according to tax statements for the year ending in March 2005, an increase of 21 percent from the previous year. Contributions to CBN have increased steadily since 1997, when it received $84 million, filings with the Internal Revenue Service show.
Donations from viewers and supporters account for most of the network’s overall revenue of $236 million.

Pat Robertson Estimated to be Worth $150-200 million!

"Robertson lives on the top of a Virginia mountain, in a huge mansion with a private airstrip. He owns the Ice Capades, a small hotel, diamond mines (in Zaire), a vitamin company (Kalo Vita) involved in a multi-level marketing scheme along the lines of Amway, and until recently, International Family Entertainment, parent company of the Family Channel (see below) -- all estimated to be worth between $150-200 million. How does a televangelist, who is supposedly involved in non-profit work, manage to create such a fortune for himself? Does Prayer Guarantee Healing?

We read in James 5:15 that "the prayer of faith shall save the sick"; BUT, we also read the Apostle Paul's words in 2nd Timothy 4:20, "...but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick." Clearly, whatever "gift" of healing Paul had back in Acts 28:3-6 when he was bitten by a deadly snake was GONE. Paul couldn't heal his friend Trophimus. Also, Paul couldn't heal his co-laborer in the Lord, Timothy, as Paul mentions Timothy's "often infirmities" (1st Timothy 5:23). God does NOT guarantee healing just because we pray; BUT, God does tell us to pray for the sick, and then trust His wisdom, goodness, and judgment. Our responsibility is to pray and wait upon the Lord. It is sinful and unbiblical for ANYONE to claim a "right" to be healed, or to teach others that God always heals the sick. As we clearly see in the Bible, God doesn't always heal the sick.

The Bible states in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Some foolish people twist this Scripture around to claim that Jesus died to pay for our physical healing too, and that physical healing as guaranteed by Jesus' blood. However, this interpretation is clearly erroneous in lieu of the Bible verses I've just shared with you. Just because we are Christians does not guarantee us health, wealth, or prosperity in this sinful world. Romans 6:23 proclaims "For the wages of sin is death..." The physical death is inevitable, because our sins bring death. However, we do not have to die the second death in the Lake of Fire because Christ offers us the free gift of eternal life through faith in Him alone. No amount of prayer guarantees physical or mental healing. The only guarantee we have is concerning Heaven, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" -Romans 10:13.

Exploiting the Gospel

So many con artists and false prophets are exploiting the Gospel nowadays. As you will read in the section below, something is very phony about Pat Robertson. It is obvious to the educated Christian, that Satan requires allegiance from those who would become the most successful in this world. This is not surprising as the Bible exposes Satan as the god of this world (i.e., the god of the wicked and unsaved). This is why we see open allegiance to Satan in so much music today, such as the Rolling Stones' blasphemous song, SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL. This allegiance is also seen in the corporate world. And tragically, it is also seen in the religious world...

Pat Robertson Displays Satanic 'El Diablo' Sign During 700 Club Show

So-called Christian voice of America also soft-peddles big brother surveillance society

Pat Robertson, the so-called voice of Christian America, has again been caught 'El Diablo red handed' flashing occult and satanic hand signals during his show.

During Thursday morning's 700 Club program Robertson could clearly be seen displaying the El Diablo hand gesture towards the end of the broadcast.
To fans of UT football El Diablo simply means 'Hook 'em Horns' but it is also used by Satanists as a form of communication.

The gesture represents the horned devil, also known as the sign of Il Cornuto and Diabolicus and was fully embraced by modern day Satanic cults. It is now seen as a trendy thing to do amongst heavy metal and Goth fans. They see it as a sign of rebellion against the establishment, which couldn't be further from the truth.

Headlines were made last year during Bush's inauguration when the President and his family repeatedly flashed the sign. US media brushed aside the matter, saying it was in the context of supporting UT Longhorns. However, Europeans were shocked and interpreted the gesture as a salute to Satan.

Robertson talks about feeling heat and fire and utters 'Jesus' under his breath moments before he flashes the sign. This is in the context of Robertson trying to relay power from 'his God' to heal his supporters' physical ailments.

First of all it is necessary to remind ourselves of Robertson's previous decidedly un-Christian activities.

In April 2001 Robertson supported China's brutal policy of forced abortion and said that the Communist country was "doing what they have to do" in keeping population numbers down. It is not Christian to advocate even voluntary abortion on the part of the mother, never mind such a tyrannical model of forced abortion as part of a wider eugenics agenda.
Whenever the subject of implantable chips has been raised on the 700 Club, Robertson has whitewashed the issue, saying that it doesn't represent the mark of the beast and that Christians should not be concerned about it. This directly contradicts the Bible and Revelations.
Earlier this year Robertson caused waves when he advocated the assassination of Venezuelan populist president Hugo Chavez. In doing so Robertson is nailing his colors to the wall as a firm minion of the New World Order. Chavez has rallied against the Globalists at every turn, including his recent spat with Vincente Fox and his rejection of the FTAA.

Returning to the El Diablo hand gesture, should it worry us that other Christian preachers have also been photographed flashing the sign? Texe Marrs has been instrumental in bringing this to light and some examples from his book Codex Magica can be seen below.

Experts in the occult have come to the conclusion that flashing the El Diablo sign is an attempt on the part of the individual to draw further power from 'their God' because the Globalists are losing their influence over world events and the natural yearning for truth and liberty is stalling their agenda.

Even if you disbelieve all the evidence about hand gestures and occultism, Robertson's advocacy of a high tech slave grid should have everyone worried.
Robertson is asked for his response to a mother who is concerned about her child's school instituting biometric finger scanners. Robertson states,
"Like it or not big brother is on your case all the time and we're gonna have our eyes, the iris scanned, all kinds of things these days for identification to make sure you're not some bad guy with a bomb."

"I really don't think that that's terribly intrusive to have somebody have a scan of their finger anymore than it is to ask for fingerprints."
"I don't think you'd have much success in convincing anybody that was too much intrusion."
Since when did we all become criminals, guilty until proven innocent? Since when did children have to scan their finger like felons to enter their school?
How is an action that is associated with criminals not an intrusion?

If Jesus had lived in an age of technology should he have been made to finger scan to kick the money changers out of the temple? It wouldn't have happened because Jesus would have been treated like one of those "bad guys with a bomb."
Robertson's agenda is clear, he is trying to switch off the concerns of mainstream Christian America to the expanding Orwellian surveillance society. Robertson directly contradicts the Bible and every commonly understood Christian value.

Robertson misrepresents the very ethic of what it means to be a Christian. This only succeeds in demonizing Christianity as a whole and turning people away from faith.
Christians should take a long hard considered look at Robertson's penchant for flashing Satanic symbology and support of forced abortion. Non-Christians should be alarmed by his bloodthirsty willingness to kill and his total disregard of the bill of rights, privacy and freedom in America.
We are deeply concerned about the whole gannet of Robertson's actions and will continue to expose him for the fake Pharisee Christian, George Bush New World Order worshipping, arrogant hypocrite that he is.

After faith healer Benny Hinn was exposed as a fraud by various TV news programs, the Reverend Jerry Falwell came to his rescue. He invited Hinn to Falwell’s Liberty University where Falwell told people he endorsed Hinn. Both Hinn and Falwell are radical pro-Israel supporters. Israel’s Prime Minister rewarded Falwell with a spanking, new executive jet aircraft, paid for with U.S. taxpayer dollars—foreign aid given to Israel by Washington, D.C.!

According to Pat Robertson, the Pope is a man of "deep spirituality." You've got to be kidding Mr. Robertson. And you call yourself a "Christian"? The Pope is the leader of the biggest false religion in the world, Catholicism! For Robertson to speak such gleaming words of praise towards such a Satanic imposter as the Pope, reveals that Robertson is in league with the Devil himself. No born again Christian who loves the Lord would ever praise the Pope, who is leading one billion people straight into Hell. Pat Robertson praises the Pope because he'd be off TV very fast if he criticized the Pope. Satan uses man's love of money to control the world. Pat Robertson has sold out to Satan!

Conclusion

Clearly, Pat Robertson is not what he appears to be. So many false prophets are hiding behind the Gospel nowadays. I looked over http://www.cbn.com/ and couldn't find a Gospel presentation anywhere. Although they give a basic Gospel presentation on their show, they fail to explain what it really means Biblically. Every unsaved Catholic believes the good news (Gospel) that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again three days later. Obviously a person is not saved just because they claim to believe the Gospel. If this were true, then EVERY Catholic, Jehovah's Witness, Christian Scientist, Mormon, and Seventh-Day Adventist is saved. The truth is that none of them are saved. The truth is that the Biblical Gospel EXCLUDES all self-righteousness, works, forsaking of sins, commitments, sacraments, church membership, making Jesus your Lord, walking down a church isle, giving your all to Christ, living for God, baptism, etc, etc, etc. The Only way to be saved is by faith ALONE if Jesus Christ. We do good works BECAUSE we are already saved, not to get saved (Romans 3:20; 4:3-5).

Pat Robertson and his The 700 Club are bad news. They are exploiting the Gospel, Christianity, the poor, the ignorant, and suffering people, to get rich ... filthy rich. You'll NEVER hear anyone on the show state that GOOD WORKS are a road to Hell if you rely upon them to save you; BUT, that is the Gospel truth! It's time for God's children to speak aloud against the damnable heresies of our day. It may not be politically correct nowadays to outright criticize false prophets and heretics; BUT, it is Biblical, and pleasing to God (Psalm 94:16; Ephesians 5:11).

On December 23, the “conservative” preacher Pat Robertson told CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux that he was pleased as punch with the election of Barack Obama. “I am remarkably pleased with Obama. I had grave misgivings about him. But so help me, he’s come in forcefully, intelligently. He’s picked a middle of the road cabinet. And so far, if he continues down this course, he has the makings of a great president,” said Robertson.

Obama’s “middle of the road cabinet” consists of people hailing from the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, and the secretive Bilderberg group. Timothy Geithner, Obama’s pick to head up the Treasury, is head of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and is the Fed’s main liaison with Wall Street. Obama’s so-called Economic Recovery Advisory Board will be chaired by former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker. Obama has outlined his geopolitical plans in Foreign Affairs, the mainstay periodical of the Council on Foreign Relations, and his wife, Michelle Obama, is a member of a branch of the CFR in Chicago.
The CFR has only one purpose and that is to push for world government. Carroll Quigley, the Georgetown University history professor and historian for the CFR wrote the following: “The Council on Foreign Relations is the American Branch of a society which originated in England… (and) …believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established.”
It would seem Pat Robertson does not have a problem with any of this. Last week, Robertson claimed to have a conversation with God and in this revelation — Robertson makes predictions based on his supposed conversations with God at the start of the new year — the preacher was told the “people will welcome socialism in order to relieve their pain. Nothing will stand in the way of a plan by Obama to restructure the economy in the same fashion as the New Deal in the ’30s.”
Obama will restructure nothing and Robertson knows it. Barack Obama is a cigar store Indian propped up to placate the people. He is window dressing for the New World Order. “The real rulers in Washington are invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes,” Felix Frankfurter, Justice of the Supreme Court, told FDR, the man credited with the first New Deal. “The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.” Obama has stacked his administration with representatives from these financial elements.
Robertson knows this. He wrote a book entitled the New World Order. In the book he stated that Colonel Edward M. House, along with other internationalists, realized that America would not embrace world government without a change in public opinion.

Economic depressions, as Henry Kissinger and others have eluded, have a way of not only changing public opinion, but reducing the public to abject groveling and welcoming dictatorial government with open arms.
In an interview with Terry Meeuwsen, Robertson’s co-host on CBN’s The 700 Club, the preacher said Obama’s socialism “will be the largest transfer of power to Washington since the ’30s. But people are willing to accept it because the pain has been so bad.”
Socialist policies and massive government spending, Robertson told Meeuwsen, will lead to hyperinflation. These policies will send prices skyrocketing through the stratosphere and the value of the dollar will go down the tubes. “The Lord said the dollar is going to go down dramatically,” Robertson said in the interview. “If I’m hearing him right, gold will go to about $1900 dollars an ounce and oil to $300 a barrel.”

It is interesting how Robertson’s “prediction” follows the global elite script so closely. The international bankers are engineering a financial crash on a scale never before witnessed. The U.S. economy has now entered a deflationary spiral that closely resembles the one that occurred during the Great Depression, a process facilitated by the Federal Reserve as it prints an unlimited supply of fiat money and drastically cuts interest rates, thus speeding up inflation and the devaluation of the dollar. Obama’s proposed new taxes — that is to say, taxes to be imposed by the global elite — and his socialist policies will kick this process into overdrive. Expect Obama to call for a one-world currency in order to deal with this manufactured problem.
As Rear Admiral Chester Ward, a former member of the Council on Foreign Relations, has warned, the elite, led by the international banking cartel, “have one objective in common — they want to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty of the national independence of the United States. A second clique of international members in the CFR comprises the Wall Street international bankers and their key agents. Primarily, they want the world-banking monopoly from whatever power ends up in the control of global government.”

It is interesting Pat Robertson issued his prediction without reaching the obvious conclusion. Robertson did this because his assignment is to get his flock and the rest of us ready for the impending global financial crash, an engineered destruction designed to usher in the sort of global government long planned by the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderberg group. The elite are fond of telling us how they are going to reduce us to serfs and Pat Robertson is merely doing their bidding.

‘NICE-FUN-GUY’ Sharpton and Robertson, a double-minded man if there ever was one.

Well, I saw it on April 1st but, sad to say, it was no April Fool’s Day joke. There on the “700 Club,” I saw Pat Robertson announcing that he had made a TV ad with Al Gore and Al Sharpton, an ad that will help Gore push his “global warming” Big Lie - this despite the fact that the “700 Club” has run many excellent reports proving that Gore’s version of global warming is a fraud! Robertson also referred to the race-baiting liar Sharpton as “a nice guy” with whom he (Robertson) had “a lot of fun.”

Is this true? Is Al Sharpton a nice fun-guy? No way. Sharpton is an evil man - as is Pat Robertson - and by “evil” I mean the 2nd definition in Noah Webster’s 1828 dictionary: “Having bad qualities of a moral kind; wicked; corrupt; perverse; wrong.” - J.L.

Trump being Indicted on Federal Charges and Other News.

This time is a very historic time in American history. Trump is the first ex-U.S. President being indicted with federal charges (in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents probe). Developments are existing all of the time about this serious event. Former President Donald Trump has been indicted on seven counts in the special counsel's classified documents probe. Trump is facing a charge under the Espionage Act, charges of obstruction of justice, destruction of falsification of records, conspiracy, and false statements. Trump has denied any wrongdoing. He has been summoned to appear at a Miami federal courthouse in Tuesday afternoon. For a while, the DOJ has been investigating whether classified documents from the Trump White House were illegally mishandled when they were taken to his Florida Mar-a-Lago resort after he left office. This is the 2nd major indictment against Trump after Trump was charged by a Manhattan grand jury in a separate hush money case. There may be other witnesses available because of the conspiracy to obstruct justice charge.  We already know that the Trump Organization has been caught involving corrupt. Trump also faces 2 other possible indictments involving Georgia and the plot to overthrow the 2020 election. Trump has been a threat to democracy for years, and we want truth and accountability to flourish in the world.

Ukraine has launched a counteroffensive against Russia on June 8, 2023. This comes after the dam busted open in Ukraine caused a humanitarian disaster in Southern Ukraine. The President of Ukraine visited the disaster area. Right now, the war is in a crossroads period of time. The battle can go either way, but Ukraine has made miraculous victories. I personally don't agree with Ukrainian strikes in Russia as this war is about Ukrainian survival. We know that Putin has arrested Russian dissidents and Russian media who overtly opposes his imperialism. We are convinced that Ukraine can be victorious in their fight for their own self-determination during the future. When the war occurred, many people were afraid that Russia would win may battles. Now, Ukraine has come back to gain territories, maintained its capital, and inspire democratic movements the world over. Some shocking good news is that the Supreme Court recently strike down the Alabama voting maps that discriminated against black voters. This maintained the Voting Rights Act in that situation. It was a 5-4 decision. John Roberts made the majority opinion statement of the court. Kavanaugh is so extreme that he desiring to abolish Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. Clarence Thomas disagrees with the decision because of obvious reasons.

The dam collapse in Ukraine has caused a major humanitarian and ecological disaster. The Nova Kakhovka dam collapsed in early June of 2023. This was in the Kerson region which was held by Russia since the spring of 2022. This comes during the early part of Ukraine's counteroffensive against Russian imperialists. We don't know what caused the dam to break, but an explosion could have caused it. The collapse caused the adjacent Kakhovka hydroelectric plant to be destroyed. Many people want food and shelter. The hydroelectric power plant helped many Ukrainian people to have drinking water including the peninsula of Crimea. The drinking water supplies are now threatened. Some scientists have mentioned that the dam collapse may be the biggest ecological disaster in Ukraine since the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster. 150 tons of engine oil was released into the Dnierpr River according to the Ukrainian government causing massive environmental damage. At the end of the day, NATO did its forms of corruption for years, but there is no justification for Russia's immoral invasion of Ukraine. A solution only will exist when Russian forces leave Ukraine, and a negotiated settlement is established.

Yesterday, Pat Robertson has passed away. He was born and lived in my state of Virginia. He helped to increase the political power of Christian Evangelicals into the next level being a large component of the modern Republican party. That is why he ran for President in 1988. His words were well known. Pat Robertson constantly asked the public for resources in his CBN television Empire. Robertson was also controversial. There are many of his views and statements that I adamantly disagree with. Robertson also allies with the Prosperity gospel movement which you know that I don't agree with because of obvious reasons. The family of Robertson saw his last moments. His passing is the end of an era among people who followed his views. He lived a life to 93 years old. While he had ideologies that I don't agree with or follow, I don't believe in mocking his death. Cruelty is never a solution in confronting bigotry. The best way to understand the life of Pat Robertson is to be inspired to be better people, treat people right, and stand up for justice. We are called to be the opposite of Robertson's most heinous views (like him saying the following wrong comments of: divorcing a woman with Alzheimer's, Haiti's Earthquake was a product of a pack with the Devil, called for Hugo Chavez's assassination, called the Katrina's disaster as God's punishment, etc.). Therefore, Pat Robertson led a legacy of extremism, bigotry, and far right propaganda that I can't endorse.

The important news now in America and Canada is the smoke-filled skies from Canada, the Northeast, the Midwest, and the South to Virginia, North Carolina, and parts of Georgia. When I was outside in the morning of Wednesday, I smelled the smoke odor in the air. That smell came from the Canadian wildfires going on. Biden sent hundreds of American firefighters to help the Canadians to defeat the fires. Cities in the North like New York City and Pittsburgh have severe air quality issues where children in NYC public schools have banned recess (because of environmental concerns). This effects about 75 million human beings. Air qualities alerts are found in New York City, Boston, Washington, D.C. Charlotte, Detroit, and Indianapolis. By Thursday morning, Delaware, Maryland, northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C. may see some of the worst air quality. More than 9 million acres of land have been charred by the wildfires in Canada in 2023 alone. Outdoor activities have been banned in school found in Maryland, D.C., Northern Virginia, and NYC.

We live in a crossroads in our history as human beings. June 2023 is finally here, and it's the season when increased vacations are occurring. I think people underestimated the far-right wing backlash after Reaganism ended in 2020 (after the election victory of the Biden/Harris ticket). Trumpism is still here with a vengeance in 2023. In 2023 alone, we witness thousands of regular books being banned unjustly, increased hate crimes, increased mass shootings, growth of economic inequality, harm done to the rights of women and social minorities, and a callous attitude against the oppressed by evil bigots. The extremists hide behind religion or culture to justify their hate, but no legitimate religion and no real culture condones suppressing basic human rights of fellow people in a vicious fashion. The Golden Rule says that we treat your neighbor as yourself. That's a universal law, and MAGA extremists violate that principle by passing voter suppression laws, limiting which books can be read, and threatening colleges with far-right wing indoctrination policies nationwide, not just in Florida. We ought to live in a true democracy without fascism and without authoritarianism. No one should underestimate Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida. We all know that polls show him struggling against Donald Trump in the Republican primaries, but there was a time in 2015 when many people thought that Trump wouldn't be elected. Those folks were wrong as a year from now is a very long time in political terms in America. It is certainly a disgrace that the federal minimum wage has been $7.25 an hour since 2009. No one in America can survive with $7.25. Too many people want to measure the economy on the stock market alone instead of how many people are housed, clothed, fed, and filled with economic resources to survive in a day-to-day basis. We know that now since 2015, child labor violations have risen nearly 300%, and that is completely wrong. This proves once again that trickle-down economics has never worked. It was created by neoliberals and conservative economists to enrich the super wealthy plainly speaking.

There is more information about the federal indictment of Donald Trump involving documents. The Special Counsel said that Trump is facing 37 counts which is huge. The case against Trump includes the intent behind the alleged declassification of documents. These seven counts are serious being the first time a former President has faced federal charges. If he is convicted, he faced multiple years in prison. A federal Trump-appointed judge has been initially assigned to oversee the case. Trump acknowledged on tape in a 2021 meeting that he kept “secret” information he had not declassified, according to a transcript of the audio recording obtained by CNN. The DOJ wants to see if Trump illegally mishandled the document when they were taken to his Florida Mar-a-Lago resort after he left office. Some GOP candidates defend Trump (like DeSantis, etc.), and some don’t. No one is above the law. The Trump aide Walt Nauta has been indicted in the classified documents case too. The special counsel leader Jack Smith’s investigation continues. Naulta was caught moving classified documents around the resort.

The 60th Year Anniversary of the Birmingham Movement

 

The Birmingham Movement in Alabama was one of the most important events of the American Civil Rights Movement. It was started in early 1963. The Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) and SNCC (the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee) were heavily involved. The goal of the movement was to end Jim Crow apartheid in the most segregated city of America (in that time period) which was Birmingham, Alabama. It was a victory, but it has costs. The costs of babies and kids were arrested, beat by dogs, and sprayed with water hoses from the local government are tragic images that I will never forget form my mind. Some of the cruelest form of racism against black history in all of human history was on display in Birmingham back in 1963. The racism was so evil, that in Birmingham (before Watts in 1965), there was a rebellion of black people using self-defense against racists after the campaign was over. Dr. King, Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth, Wyatt Tee Walker, Dorothy Cotton, and other people worked together to fight injustice in Birmingham. Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth of the ACMHR organized a boycott to pressure business leaders to open employment to people of all races, and end segregation in public facilities, restaurants, schools, and stores. When local business and governmental leaders resisted the boycott, the SCLC agreed to assist. Organizer Wyatt Tee Walker joined Birmingham activist Shuttlesworth and began what they called Project C, a series of sit-ins and marches intended to provoke mass arrests. Later, kids were used by the activists to protest discrimination and oppression. Eugene "Bull" Connor was the racist who used high pressure water hoses and police attack dogs on children and adult bystanders. The movement led to ending racial segregation in the South, desegregation of Birmingham, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to be passed. The twin movements in Birmingham and later in Selma (by 1965) help to end legalized Jim Crow apartheid in American society. The heroic people led the change in a grassroots level. 

The Beginning

As early as March 18, 1947, the racist "Dynamite" Bob Chamblis set off his first bomb in Birmingham in trying to intimidate the black community. Other bombs exploded in the city in trying to stop desegregated housing in the community. The College Hills area of Birmingham was known as "Dynamite Hill." One major organization that fought for liberation in Birmingham was Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights. Back then, the group's leader was Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth. The Bethel Baptist Church (the headquarters of the ACMHR) was bombed on December 25, 1956. From 1957 to 1962, there were at least 17 unsolved bombings of African American churches and homes of civil rights leader in Birmingham. That is why the nickname of the city was "Bombingham" Reverend Shuttlesworth and other civil rights activists continue to fight to end oppression in the Deep South. Students in Birmingham organize the 1960 sit ins. Bull Connor resisted it. There was a temporary bus boycott in Birmingham too. The sit in movement existed in Birmingham by April of 1960. Connor and the Klan resisted the movement, and Shuttlesworth was briefly jailed. On April 12, the New York Times carries a page-one withering critique of conditions in Birmingham, entitled “Fear and Hatred Cripple Birmingham.” Racists are angry and caused a libel lawsuit against NY Times for showing the truth. The organization of SNCC was created at a conference at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. The conference was attended by Rev. Shuttlesworth and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (who spoke at the conference too). The Mother of SNCC was Ella Baker who wanted grassroots community organizing to be the nucleus of social movements in favor of justice. It is no secret that the Birmingham police worked with the Klan. They worked together with approval by Safety Commissioner Eugene "Bull" Connor to allow the Klan terrorists to severely beat up Freedom Riders in Birmingham (Charles Person and Jim Peck were almost killed by the terrorist mob). Other Freedom Riders like John Lewis were beaten in Montgomery. 

By November 7, 1961, segregationist Art Hines narrowly defeated moderate Tom King in the election for mayor. The white community in the city has become polarized: reformers vs. segregationists, business community vs. city hall. On November 12, 1961, after city commissioners (including Bull Connor) vote to close city parks rather than desegregate them (effective January 1, 1962), moderates in the business community publish “Some Facts to Face” in the Birmingham News. The statement opposes resistance to desegregation. Terrorism continued. In January 1962, dynamite bombs severely damaged three black Birmingham churches, one of them associated with Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth. Reverend Shuttlesworth has filed a lawsuit to desegregate public parks, golf courses, the zoo, and public swimming pools; on January 15, a judge rules that those facilities must open to all citizens. By March 2, 1962, Reverend Shuttlesworth was released after 36 days in jail–and accepts a new pastorate in Cincinnati. Meanwhile, Lucius Pitts, president of Miles College, takes on additional leadership in the black community: he initiates a boycott of white businesses downtown to achieve desegregation of drinking fountains, elevators, and lunch counters, and demands the hiring of black clerks. The SCLC wants to fight in Birmingham to liberate people from injustice by May of 1962. They would ally with Shuttlesworth's Alabama Christain Movement for Human Rights. 

Activism Grows

In September 1962, Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth invited Dr. King to help him desegregate Birmingham. Dr. King accepts the challenge after a three-day retreat near Savannah, Georgia. From September 25-28, 1962, even as a crisis emerges at the nearby University of Mississippi, the SCLC holds its annual convention in Birmingham, including 300 delegates and Dr. King. (At the final session of the SCLC meeting, on September 28, King addressed the group from Hall Auditorium–where he is attacked physically by a young Nazi).  To discourage demonstrations, city leaders temporarily desegregate downtown department stores. (The Whites Only signs reappear after the SCLCers leave town). The showdown continues. George Wallace was elected governor of Alabama by November 6, 1962. He vowed to continue segregation forever, but he failed. There is a new council plus mayor system being approved in Birmingham as a means of trying to neutralize Bull Connor's segregationist control. Bethel Baptist Church was bombed on December 14, 1962.

The year of 1963 would change Birmingham, Alabama forever. By January 10, 1963, at a meeting in Dorchester, South Carolina (near Savannah), SCLC leaders commit to a campaign to desegregate Birmingham. By January 16, 1963, George Wallace was inaugurated as governor of Alabama pledging “segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever!” Concurrent with the inaugural observances is a National Conference on Religion and Race (January 14-17), chaired by Benjamin Mays, that brings together 647 Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish leaders. (Dr. King was one of the presenters). This conference was about diverse religious leaders coming together to fight racism. January 17, 1963, was when eleven Birmingham clergy publish a statement in the main Birmingham newspaper that implores the community to desegregate. March 1963 was when Wyatt Tee Walker and James Bevel tutored people on nonviolent resistance. March 5th was when the mayoral election in Birmingham pits Bull Connor against Albert Boutwell and his associate Tom King. No one gets 50% of the vote, so Boutwell and Connor will face one another in an April 2 runoff election. The SCLC again decides to delay activities until the election is decided, preferring to deal with Boutwell rather than Connor. The segregationist rally at Municipal Auditorium in support of Bull Connor existed on March 8. 

By April 2, 1963, the less extreme Albert Boutwell, widely considered to be willing to consider changes to Birmingham’s segregation policies, narrowly defeated Eugene “Bull” Connor in a large-turnout run-off mayoral election, thanks in part to African American voters. However, Connor and his supporters, instead of stepping down, decide to contest the election (contending, in part, that Connor’s elected terms as Commissioner only when his term was up in 1965) so that two functioning rival city governments operate simultaneously in Birmingham for months until the matter is adjudicated; meanwhile, Connor continues to control the local police. Bull Connor acted like Trump in denying democracy. April 4, 1963, was the important "B Day" when the SCLC started to have sit-ins and released the Birmingham Manifesto. The manifesto was mostly ignored. That day, the campaign is launched with a series of mass meetings and sit-ins at Birmingham lunch counters and bus stations, marches on City Hall, direct actions, and the beginnings of a boycott of all downtown merchants. Citizens are encouraged to avoid shopping at downtown stores during one of the busiest shopping periods, the Easter season, until reforms are instituted.

Dr. King spoke to black inhabitants of Birmingham about methods and philosophies of nonviolence, and actions expand over the next week to include sit-ins at the library, “kneel-ins” at churches, and a march on the county building to forcibly register voters. Hundreds are arrested during this week; many whites (and more than a few African Americans) wish that what whom they called “outside agitators” from Atlanta would leave town. Yet, SCLC staff members James Lawson, James Bevel, Diane Nash Bevel, Dorothy Cotton, Andrew Young, and Bernard Lee also provide workshops on nonviolence. On April 6, 1963, the police arrest 45 protesters who are marching on City Hall. The next day, Palm Sunday, police dogs are set loose on a young protester. Meanwhile, daily demonstrations and the economic boycott continue. On Palm Sunday, April 7, 1963, more people are arrested. A 19-year-old protester (who was a teenage kid) Leroy Allen is set upon by police dogs. By April 10, 1963, the city gets an injunction against the demonstration from a judge. Demonstrators are now subject to arrest. 

In response to the protests, Judge W.A. Jenkins, Jr. issued an order preventing Reverends King, Ralph Abernathy, Shuttlesworth, and other civil rights leaders from organizing demonstrations. Dr. King and Abernathy debate whether protesters should continue to submit to arrest; as money available for posting bail runs thin, leaders cannot guarantee that those arrested will be released. Dr. King’s services at a fundraiser to replenish funds are desperately needed, but he feels his credibility might be undermined if he refused to submit to arrest so he decides to violate the injunction and accept arrest. Divisions are apparent in the African American community. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had no choice but to continue in the movement after the failure of the Albany movement. By April 12, on Good Friday, local clergy (eight of the eleven who wrote on January 17) compose a public letter, published in Birmingham newspapers on April 13, condemning the protests and King’s role in them, and asking Dr. King to call off the demonstrations.

On the same symbolic day, Good Friday the 12th, Dr. King joins the demonstrations and is arrested along with Ralph Abernathy after violating the injunction against protesting, in accordance with the agenda of “Project C,” which had intended that King be arrested on that date all along. While in custody, he begins composing his “Letter from Birmingham Jail” which, among other subjects, justifies his ignoring the injunction. Dr. King's Letter from a Birmingham Jail is one of the greatest notes in history refuting the clergy people who opposed demonstrations. The note mentioned that unjust law is no law at all, and that freedom shouldn't be constrained by time. In other words, oppressed people shouldn't wait for liberty to come. Liberty should come ASAP without compromise. Dr. King wrote his note from April 12-20, 1963.  It originally circulates only in mimeographed copies throughout Birmingham before becoming public on April 18 and being distributed more widely (but often in excerpts) later that year through pamphlets from the American Friends Service Committee and periodicals like Christian Century, New Republic, Christianity and Crisis, the New York Post, and Ebony magazine. Part of the letter is even introduced into testimony by Representative William Fitts Ryan (D-NY) and published in the Congressional Record, before King revises and prints it as a chapter of his 1964 memoir Why We Can’t Wait. (Consequently, there are differences in the various versions of Dr. King’s famous Letter). Dr. King wants to call his wife, Coretta Scott King, but his request is denied. Coretta Scott King just given birth to a new child days earlier. She contacted the Kennedy administration, which intervened to get Birmingham officials to let Dr. King to call home. Bail money becomes available, and Dr. King is released from jail on April 20.

Using Children

The controversial Children's Crusade from the SCLC existed from May 2-5, 1965. SCLC organizer James Bevel had proposed using young children in demonstrations, and he recruited youngsters during the last week of April. So, on May 2, the Children’s Crusade begins. (The decision to use children in the demonstrations is debated at length, Dr. King finally agreed after expressing misgivings). More than 1,000 African American students marched into downtown Birmingham, and hundreds of them are arrested. Many of the children arrested are freed on May 3, only to be sent out again to protest and be re-arrested.

When hundreds more gather on May 3 and jails are becoming filled to capacity, Bull Connor directed local officials to use force to halt their demonstrations, causing images of children being blasted by fire hoses and attacked by police officers and dogs to appear on television and in newspapers around the world. Those tactics continue on May 4 and on May 5 (“Miracle Sunday”). The images, published in newspapers and magazines and carried on television, swing public opinion within Birmingham and across the nation. The crooked police and Connor using water hoses and dogs on black children is one of the evilest acts in world history. Connor is a racist, a coward, and not a real man to assault babies and children. During the evening of May 5, Dr. King encouraged the parents of children protesters that they will be fine, and they did this for American and for all in the human race. On May 6, 1963, Attorney General Robert Kennedy has sent Burke Marshall, his chief civil rights assistant, to Birmingham to facilitate negotiations between the Senior Citizens Council (SCC, the city’s business leadership) and the black leaders. Fred Shuttlesworth is hospitalized after sustaining injuries from being hit with the full force of a fire hose: demonstrations and marches are continuing. Civil rights activist Dick Gregory, having come in from Chicago to help, is among those jailed. Joan Baez (who is a famous rock and folk singer) has also arrived in order to encourage demonstrators, along with Guy Carawan; she offers a concert at Miles College on May 5. There is an early May 1963 image of the Parker High School student named Walter Gadsden being attacked by dogs.

The Climax

Despite decades of disagreements, when the photos were released, "the black community was instantaneously consolidated behind King", according to David Vann, who would later serve as mayor of Birmingham. Horrified at what the Birmingham police were doing to protect segregation, New York Senator Jacob K. Javits declared, "the country won't tolerate it", and pressed Congress to pass a civil rights bill. Similar reactions were reported by Kentucky Senator Sherman Cooper, and Oregon Senator Wayne Morse, who compared Birmingham to South Africa under apartheid. A New York Times editorial called the behavior of the Birmingham police "a national disgrace." The Washington Post editorialized, "The spectacle in Birmingham ... must excite the sympathy of the rest of the country for the decent, just, and reasonable citizens of the community, who have so recently demonstrated at the polls their lack of support for the very policies that have produced the Birmingham riots. The authorities who tried, by these brutal means, to stop the freedom marchers do not speak or act in the name of the enlightened people of the city." President Kennedy sent Assistant Attorney General Burke Marshall to Birmingham to help negotiate a truce. Marshall faced a stalemate when merchants and protest organizers refused to budge.

By May 8, 1963, Dr. King told negotiators that he would accept an interim compromise that grant some of the black leaders' demands while ending demonstrations and trying to make other demands later. Fred Shuttlesworth was angry, because he wasn't present at the negotiations, and he felt that Dr. King should not speak for the black population of Birmingham on his own. Dr. King announced the proposed compromise to the city anyway, but wants demonstrations if negotiations failed. President Kennedy on the same say speak about the developments in Birmingham. On May 10, 1963, Reverends Shuttlesworth, Abernathy, and King join together to read the prepared statement outlining the settlement. Its details include removing “Whites Only” and “Negroes Only” signs in certain venues, a plan to desegregate lunch counters and all downtown stores, the release of jailed protestors, an ongoing program to upgrade black American employment, and the formation of a biracial committee to monitor the implementation of the agreement. Protests were suspended. This victory was not perfect, but it was a significant victory in the Civil Rights Movement. Racists and segregationists wanted revenge. On May 11, 1963, the home of Dr. King's brother, A. D. King, is bombed, and another bomb damages the Gaston Motel, a headquarters for the SCLC leadership. So, President Kennedy ordered 3,000 federal troops into position and prepares to nationalize the Alabama National Guard. KKK Imperial Wizard Robert “Bobby” Shelton addressed a Klan rally to resist integration. 

Black people in Birmingham later used outright self-defense against white racists. When police went to inspect the motel, they were met with rocks and bottles from neighborhood black citizens. The arrival of state troopers only further angered the crowd; in the early hours of the morning, thousands of black people rebelled, numerous buildings and vehicles were burned, and several people, including a police officer, were stabbed. By May 13, three thousand federal troops were deployed to Birmingham to restore order, even though Alabama Governor George Wallace told President Kennedy that state and local forces were sufficient. Martin Luther King Jr. returned to Birmingham to stress nonviolence.

The Birmingham Board of Education announced plans to suspend or expel all students who took place in the recent protests and demonstrations. Meanwhile, Dick Gregory delivered a speech at St. John’s Baptist Church. Medgar Evers offers a televised address on civil rights in Jackson, Mississippi (on May 20). By May 22, the SCLC and NAACP take the Board of Education’s decision to the local federal district court. The judge initially upholds the Board of Education’s decision, only to have the decision reversed by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals that same day.

The Aftermath

On May 23, the Alabama Supreme Court ruled that Albert Boutwell’s election as mayor of Birmingham should stand, ousting Bull Connor. A few days later, Dr. King attends a celebratory rally in Los Angeles: his speech concludes with a recitation from “The Battle Hymn of the Republic”–“Mine eyes have seen the glory!” By July, Duke begins to perform his “King Fit the Battle of Alabam,” immortalizing the events of Birmingham between Connor and King. August 5th was when Johnny Mathis, James Baldwin, Ray Charles, and Nina Simone are among those who entertain at a free, peaceful, and integrated concert at Miles College in Birmingham. Resistance to progress continued by September 1963. Four months after the Birmingham campaign settlement, someone bombed the house of NAACP attorney Arthur Shores, injuring his wife in the attack. Most Birmingham institutions were desegregated. A Labor Day rally of Klansmen attracts George Wallace and Bull Connor as speakers; and several bombings are pulled off by Klansmen, especially because schools are opening around Labor Day under a judge’s desegregation order. One of the saddest days in American history was on September 15, 1963, when four children were killed when a bomb is set off in Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Birmingham. Bombings continued. The four little black American girls just wanted to worship God, but racists ended their lives. 

Scholars believe that Klans members including FBI informant Gary Thomas Rowe were involved in the murder of four little girls. By September 16, 1963, Charles (Chuck) Morgan (who was a white man) criticized many members of the white community its complicity in the segregation policies that resulted in the deaths of the four little girls. “We did it” is his lament. He later publishes A Time to Speak about the incident and spends his career furthering social justice. Dr. King delivered the eulogy of the four little girls at the joint funeral of three of the girls by September 18, 1963. Dr. King (on October 14, 193) returned to Birmingham to demand that the city hire black police officers, and at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church he encourages citizens to demand change, no matter the cost. Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth, Dr. King, James Bevel, Wyatt Tee Walker, Dorothy Cotton, and other human beings were key leaders in the Birmingham Campaign. There is no Civil Rights Act of 1964 without the 1963 Birmingham campaign being a victory.

Lessons Learned 

A very historic time existed during the Birmingham black freedom movement. It was a time that was a turning point in the overall Civil Rights Movement. Many leaders of the freedom movement wanted more victories, especially after the failure to have Albany, Georgia to have real change for black Americans. Birmingham, back then, was the most segregated city of the South. It had an overt, vicious, and intricate system of Jim Crow apartheid where the fundamental human rights of black people were violated in a vicious fashion from employment to basic buying of resources. The 1963 Birmingham movement was a hard battle. Many men, women, and children were jailed for just peacefully protesting for human rights. Also, children were assaulted by crooked Birmingham police officers in a vindictive fashion (using dogs and water hoses). That cowardly action enraged people worldwide, not just Americans. The Birmingham campaign was headed by many organizations like SCLC (Southern Christian Leadership Conference), Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth's ACMHR organization, and other human beings. Dr. King, Dorothy Cotton, James Bevel, Wyatt Tee Walker, and other leaders contributed a lot in their sacrifice in making the Birmingham campaign a victory. Bull Connor lost in his defense of oppression. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. used the Birmingham Letter to refute the lie of moderates who wanted to wait for freedom and to end demonstrations. Freedom is meant to be given to all by birth, not restricted based on time. The Birmingham campaign ended with self-defense, nonviolent resistance, and it paved the way for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to be signed into law. The Civil Rights Act bans racial discrimination in hiring practices and public services all over the United States of America. Therefore, we should always remember the famous and unsung heroes who stood up for justice in the Birmingham campaign (especially now with book bans in Florida, voter suppression laws nationwide, and more laws violating the human rights of Americans being widespread in 2023). In our time, we have a very long way to go in seeking that human justice that we all seek. That is why we have to use our influence, our power, and our voice to rectify injustice conclusively and establish liberty across the globe comprehensively.

I'm anti-Globalism

Mixing Big Brother and schools isn't a good prescription or an equation for any person to embrace at all. Chelsea Schilling from WorldNet Daily made known about the U.S. government proposing to give Washingto unprecedented control over kids. The U.S. House of Representatives is planning on debating 2 bills that could allow the federal government to control the way parents raise their children. The bills have funds that even provide funds for state workers to come into homes and screen babies for emotional and developmental problems. The Pre-K Act (HR 3289) and the Education Begins at Home Act (HR 2343) are two bills involved in the proposals. They are geared to the military and families who fall below state poverty lines. Like usual, these elitists justify the bill as a means to close the achievement gap (between poor and minority infants versus middle-class children) and prevent child abuse. Aren't there other ways to do this without violating the rights and privacy of parents? The answer is of course yes. HR 2342 was sponsored by Rep. Rep. Danny Davis, D-Ill., and cosponsored by 55 Democrats and 11 Republicans. The bill will cost the taxpayer about $190 million for state home visiting and in hospital parent education. Pediatrician Karen Effrem told WND that the government provisions in HR 2343 to evaluate children for developmental problems do indeed go too far. The reason is that it has a subjective meaning for mental health screening. Nothing in the bill goes to ask where parental rights end and the government takes over. The bill makes the government to get private medical information and financial records to offer the home visiting program. The home visits puts personal information from money and parental practices into a database. Effrem said that the state diagnosed conditions are in the child's permanent medical history forever. Effrem said that the bill doesn't specify whether parents are allowed to decline drugs or medicine. Government home visits are in that bill. HR 3289 is another bill. The bill allows government workers to go to mothers and fathers in the hospital after the baby is born to promote Pre-K programs. The program is voluntarily, but according to Effram once you're in it, they have no say over its curriculum. It's just an expansion of the federal government's role in live of parents. It also infringes on their private information.



Jon Swaine from the Telegraph on July 23, 2008 focused on how water bills are set to soar under compulsory meters. The government on many times permit forcing controls on the population. The Consumer Council for Water said that millions of families are suffering from rising food and fuel costs nnd high soaring bill. That has left up to £200 a year worse off by the Government plans. The government wants long term plans to introduce them into other areas by 2030. The government is now trying to justify mandatory metering. A consumer group warns that England and Wales will fall into water poverty under plans to introduce meters for every home in Britian. Ofwat who is a power industry watchdog group estimated that the average bills will be substantially higher under the plans. The bills may rise up to 300 percent depending on the region. Willie Nelson and Jesse Ventura have questions about the official story about 9/11. Many of us are concerned that another inside job might occur to justify more bad policies in America. 9/11 also includes the help to first responders who suffered health damage. There are those who hav exposed the lies of the EPA talking about how the air quality was secure. Later, tons of 9/11 Truthers and First responders are going on to call for help to the victims of the bad air from 9/11. There is a growth of the Patriot Movement. There discussions of a wide variety of issues. Some in the so-called alternative media claim that people like me talk about one issue, but that's a lie. The truth is that I (and others like me) discuss about tons of issues from the Jesuits/Vatican, the Pilgrim Society, GM foods, impeachment, and a whole list of subject matter. Now, I'm not of afraid of silly criticisms because I can easily refuted their weak charges. Nick Juliano from Raw Story on Friday, at July 25, 2008 described on how the ACLU found memos on how the CIA authorized torture. The lie that the CIA doesn't torture is promoted by people like Bill O'Reilly and the neo cons. It's an easy lie to refute like always. Now, yesterday, the ACLU released a controversial August 2002 memo from the Justice Department to the CIA. The memo outlines that if any were needed, that the Justice Department authorized the CIA to torture prisoners in its custody. Jameel Jaffer, who is the Director of the ACLU National Security Project, said in a news release that the Justice Department twisted the law plus in some cases ignored it althogether in order to permit interrogators to use barbaric methods that the U.S. once prosecuted as war crimes. The memo had 18 pages redacted before it was released under the FOIA. Juliano writes that Assistant Attorney General Jay Bybee ambigiously defines torture on the specific intent provision. The CIA last year destroyed at least two videotapes of enhanced interrogations that may have included waterboarding. General Baccus admitted that torture went on in Guantanamo Bay. Also, Abu Ghraib had obscene torture, and the FBI released documents of torture in Gitmo years ago.


The Olympics acquires more controversy. Tania Branigan from the London Guardian on Thursday, at July 24, 2008 reported that some protestors in China will be kept in pens during the Olympic Games. Tania wrote that China will institute 2 protest pens in the capital's parks to allow people to demonstrate during the Olympics as spoken off by an official. This move calls into more speculation about how the government of China would handle dissent when the global spotlight is projected in China during the Olympic Games. Chna already limits protests. Many activists are protesting the Games because of China's economic funding of the Sudanese regime (while Darfur is suffering terrible disasters). Also, protestors abhor China's treatment toward Tibet. Ni Jianping, the director of the Shanghai Institute of American Studies, supports the move. Ni said that this oolicy will allow people to protest the Games without disrupting the Olympics. Ni is the person who lobbied for the creation of the zones. Regardless of the cosmology of the zones, free speech zones inhibit free speech whether they exist in China or in America. China isn't the only nation with civil liberty issues. In the United Kingdom, ID cards are rampant, the police can jail you without a warrant for days on end, and cameras are everywhere violating citizens' privacy. In my nation of America there are illegal militarized police in NYC randomnly searching innocent citizens, biometrics in the Real ID Act, and cameras in many places as well developing an even more Big Brother state. Human Rights Watch are expressing dissent with China's decision as underminig the right to demonstrate under international law. A spokesman for Human Rights Watch whose name is Nicholas Bequelin said that these zones are an obstacle against free speech. Protest zones existed in the Athens, Greece Olympics in 2004 as well. Protests must even be approved by the police in advance. Reporters Without Borders said police arrested a prominent internet dissident this week for violating his probation terms. Ye Guozhu is another dissident being arresed organizing protests against the forced eviction of private property in China. The Chinese Human Rights Defenders network believe that he was jailed in order to silence him before the Olympic Games coming up in August 8, 2008. Pat Robertson spoke about Iran on Wednesday. He has his show called the 700 Club. Some of the show has great background information about current events. While other parts of the show is a platform to advance his Reconstructionist theology. He came and criticized the Bush adminstration suprisingly. Pat said that Bush isn't going far enough in his policy toward Iran. I think that's wild, because if Bush isn't going far enough in his mind then the neo conservatives are very extreme in terms of foreign policy affairs. Robertson wants Israel to make a strike against Iran before the 2008 Election. That's an interesting proposal, because if that occurs, the next President will have no other alternative than to make a crucial decision (one way or another way). Robertson said that Bush is quietly giving Israel the caution light in utilizing a preemptive strike against Iran. Although, Pat Robertson has been wrong in his numerous predictions. For example, Pat Robertson was wrong for saying that Republicans will win the Congressional battle in 2006. He was wrong that Bush will have a blowout election in 2004. The bigger picture is that Pat Buchannan is bounded under the establishment. Approximately 150 graduates from Regent Unversity served in the Bush administration. Pat Robertson once even exposed the new world order in a book, but went south with advocating a form of globalism called Reconstruction theology. That theology maintains that a man made theocracy is necessary to herald the coming of Jesus Christ. The truth is that Jesus will only come after the Tribulation to destroy man made globalism. Robertson isn't representative of real conservative Christians, because tons of conservative Christians are exposing the new world order, the war on terror, etc. Pat Robertson supports the one child policy in China and forced abortion, so Pat isn't the real conservative the media portrays him as. Obviously, I don't agree with an invasion of Iran since Iran possesses no direct threat to Israel or America. This doesn't mean we submit to the Papacy as Paul Craig Roberts wants to. The reason is that the Vatican was involved in the Inquisition, fascism, the Ratlines, the Ecumencial Movement, and the illegal immigration problems in America. The Catholic Church accept many false doctrines like Mary being an Ever Virgin, The Mass being God, the Pope being the Holy Father which is blasphemy, etc.) that Jesuit trained Paul Craig Roberts omits intentionally while demonizing conservative Christians.



The View had another show about one of its guests talking about abortion. Sherri Shepherd is one of the regular guests in the View show. The View is a show that discusses politics, health, and forms of women's issues. Sherri admitted that she had numerous abortions before becoming a Christian. She admitted that she possessed a promiscuous lifestyle. She talked more about this in an interview with Precious Times, a magazine for black Christian women. She admitted that she slept with a lot of men and had more abortions than she would like to count. She was brave enough to admit that abortion cause a lot of problems toward women. Abortion is murder because it murders the unborn life in the womb. Sherri said that God showed her that it would make a difference. Sherri said that she felt guilt and shame from her abortions. This uspet some at the View, because 2 co-hosts at the show at least on the View are adamantly pro-abortion. Sherri Shepherd said that babies will say Hi Mama when you get to heaven if you have abortions. She said that Jesus can forgive people who experience abortions, which is true. Although, this doesn't mean we should omit the destructive nature of abortion. Truthfully, abortion is one of the most violent, murderous actions in the world. She is also having a divorce. The lesson here is that we should oppose abortion. Steven Mosher from July 23, 2008 made known about the Population control evils promoted by Malthus and the United Nations today. The right to have children is outlined in the Constitution as the right to have life. Extremists like Carter Dillard want a one child policy in America even. This liar Carter forgotten that population growth is beauty and contributes to the stabilization of population done in conjunction with the modernization of a country. Janet Rivera (called California's Terri Schiavo) have been allowed to recieve food and water. Rivera was denied it for 12 days. A California court allowed it. She as a 46 year old woman who suffered a heart attack in February of 2006. She never regained full consciousness since. She was on life support for over 2 years. Rivera's brother, Michael Dancoff, told the Fresno Bee newspaper he was excited to hear about the ruling. Many in her condition have survived comas and revitalized their mind plus body to be fully functional.







Dennis Kucinich is serious that on Friday, he will take the Impeachment resolution against the puppet President George W. Bush to the House Judiciary Committee. Dennis is correct to point out that Bush has violated his oath of office, violated the U.S. Constitution plus international law (like the Geneva Convention with some in his administration harboring torture memos. Bush passed a Resolution not a Constitutional declaration of war as the green light to fight in Iraq), and has trashed the Constitution. There are plenty of examples of Constitution violation by the Bush administration. For example, Bush passed the Patriot Act whose Section 802 ambigiously define terrorism as nearly any crime. The Patriot Act has sneak and peak procedures that distort the authentic means of carrying out warrants against criminals. There is the FISA Law that compromises the Fourth Amendment and he supported the NSA wiretapping programs. Although, the NSA violating our privacy transpired long before the Bush administration. Bill Clinton, when he was President, advanced the FBI's Carnivore program and other anti-liberty laws. Bush is a puppet of the globalists, but even he is accountable for advancing courses that run contrary to the Constitution (and real liberty). On July 10, Kucinich pared down his 35 articles of impeachment to Congress. The House voted 238 to 180 to send this single article to the Judiciary Committee, which buried Kucinich’s previous 35-article effort in June. Even Democratic leaders like John Conyers isn't open to impeachment. Bill Clinton was impeached for far less than Bush has been proposed to be impeached for. Nancy Pelosi is ambigious on the matter. Today, the House is discussing on possible impeachment with Dennis Kucinich, Bob Bar, and others are speaking.




The Presidential Race is being more interesting. John McCain is angry over the positive media coverage for the most part sent toward Barack Obama. He didn't come into the Gulf of Mexico, because of an oil spill in the New Orleans area. John McCain is struggling to send out his message, because his message is being drowned out by Barack Obama's speeches and coverage of the Obama campaign. Many critics of John McCain view him as whining. John McCain is different than Bush on some issues but he's more neo-conservative than George W. Bush on foreign policy affairs. McCain has taken a decidedly more aggressive approach toward Iran than Obama plus even Bush. John McCain accused Barack Obma as adhering to a philosophy of defeat in dealing with Iraq. Barack Obama gave another speech in Berlin, Germany. The speech had a crowd of over 200,000 people. The crowd was very receptive to Barack's views because he was in Europe. Polls consistently present how Europeans gives a low regard for the Bush administration. Barack Obama is a gifted, great orator. Some portions of the speech I agreed with and other parts of the speech I disagree with. Now, in the beginning of his speech, Obama gave a story about his father bascially giving him the inspiration to carry forward the rise of his political career. The tone of his speech was to connect the links and relationships among America, Germany, and the world. For example, Barack Obama said that walls among religions, immigration, etc. ought to be broken down in order to develop the stability of a society. Obama said that America made crucial errors in its history. Although, he pointed out that he still loves America still. Barack Obama said that America is made up of a whole list of backgrounds and cultures in order to represent the true essence of the compositon of the USA. The tone of the speech was humble, yet firm. The audience cheered him. Even with all of this, Barack Obama isn't perfect just like John McCain isn't perfect. Both of them like a carbon credit system when that's impossible to enforce. The reason is that carbon is natural chemical vital for humans and other organisms to survive. Recent scientific studies refute the claims of man-made global warming (when the solar system is warming via the sun, there are record cold winters globally, etc). Obama in the Berlin speech said that he was a world citizen, and that he sees the world as one. Obama wanted to extrude an appeal to build up his view that he is capable of handling complex foreign policy matters. Now, this is a globalist, international view which is very similar to Brzezinski's view. See, Zbigniew Brzezinski called for a transnational approach for decades and he's the foreign policy advisor to Barack Obama. Brzezinski (the man who inflamed Afghanistan by supporting Osama bin Laden in the late 1970's) is a heavyweight in geopolitics since he's a member of the Bilderbergers, the CFR, and the Trilateral Commission. Barack Obama met with French President Sarkozy in France. Subsequently, Obama went into London, England to met with Gordon Brown. So, McCain and Obama are stirred by the global elite. I respect other nations, but I'm no citizen of the world. I'm a citizen of America. I part company with Barack on that issue. I believe in working with other nations, but not at the expense of forming a global citizenship or wanting an "one world". I don't agree with wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Each nation even have nothing to do with the attacks of 9/11. The cost of many innocent deaths among civilians and military individuals isn't worth the neo con strategy of nation building plus preemptive warfare at all.

Other news are going on. ANDREA L. FOSTER from The Chronicle of Higher Education on July 24, 2008 wrote about how the government is attempting to require distance education to have spy cameras. There is a 1,200 page bill now in Congress. A small paragraph could mean that distance education institutions to require spy cameras in their students' homes. It's blatantly Orwellian, because the government has no right to force cameras into students' homes at all. Supposedly the bill is about stopping cheating in school. Cheating occurs in many formats therefore cheating will continue even with the instillation of monitoring students. They want online schools to make sure than an enrolled student is the same person who does the work. Even now, some colleges are trying technology that force your fingerpints, watch them via Web cameras, and record keystrokes. It's especially a problem for violating people's privacy. The Securexam Remote Proctor is a biometric device that can scan fingerpints, have a tiny microphone, and a camera. This sphere device reflects a 360 device view around the test taker, which the camera picks up. Students pay up to $150 for the devices. Other systems are in the works. I feel this is wild. Back even 10 years ago, this techology was non-existent. Now, these devices are really active in the year of 2008. Hurricane Dolly reached landfall in Texas. That area was near the Texas/Mexico border. The winds exceeded over 100 mph in some places. The Hurricane achieved mighty damage in some quarters of Texas. The Hurricane season is here. The good news is that last year, few Hurricanes reached landfall in the American coast than in 2006. Hopefully, that course can continue this year. The real barometer of how the 2008 Hurricane season will transpire will be made evident in late August and early September of 2008. The TSA has been caught in many bad actions. Pam Zekman from CBS 2 Chicago reported on disgusting, odd incidents committed by the TSA. Once, airports made travelers to have luggage searches, metal detectors, and shoe inspections. Now, the TSA desire to enact activities which are more invasive to human privacy than that. Pam described how thousands of travelers have complained that some of these screenings are so abusive that they reach into the level of being X-Rated. Robin Kassner was slammed into the floor while arguing with a TSA worker. She has subsequently filed a lawsuit against the TSA for that violent act. Kassner claimed that she repeatedly told the TSA to get off of her. The TSA according to her didn't reliquished to stop. Mandi Hamlin was another woman who suffered at the hands of the TSA. Mandi had her nipple rings ripped apart by TSA agents just because they set off a metal detectors. That's obviously immoral and apart of violence. Mandi Hamlin said that the TSA utilized pliers to pull the rings out of her body. In Chicago, people like Robert Perry was another victim of exhaustive security checks. Perry was patted down, his wheel chair was examined, and his hands were swabbed. Robert Perry was just 71 years when he experienced this injustice. This evil deed was done in plain view of the public. Perry was forced into a metal detector with almost all of his clothes off. A 16-year old named Michael Angone had to follow similar actions by the TSA. There has been about 100,000 abuse complaints now since 9/11. The lessons by these authentic experiences is that the Transportation Security Administration still expresses low common sense and little regard or the rights of citizens in the country of the United States of America. There are already airports in America where body scanners outline the naked bodies of airline passengers. It's apart of an elite, Big Brother control grid. Lee Rogers is correct to point out that the TSA and the Department of Homeland Security ought to be abolished. Their functionings has been to utilized to control society and force citizens to confirm to their agenda (FEMA even planned on trying to manipulate churches to harbor pro-government sermons especially during a time of martial law). These events conclusively outline the TSA's evil deeds of harrashing and oppressing American citizens here.


Secret Societies have a long history in the realm of world existence. They are one of the various instruments (along with the international bankers, political elites, and religious elites) contributing greatly to the invention of wars, crisis, and other debilitating events in the world. These Secret orders act in secrecy on many levels to not reveal the true composition of their organization. Conversely, even Jesus Christ from the Bible said "I have said nothing in secret" and encouraged a real, transparent display of information. One such order is the Order of the Garter. One of the most famous and youngest members of this group is Prince William of Britian. The Order of the Garter was invented in the 1348 by Edward III. Ironically, Edward III is a blood relative of Prince Charles (who is Prince William's father) and Prince William by extension. Prince William gave a tribute to Princess Diana in a Garter ceremony. William added his mother's family Spencer coast of arms to his Order of the Garter crest. The Order of the Garter are made up of men of the British Elite. Prince William is exactly the 1,000th member of the Order of the Garter. People trace much of the conspiracy for global government to the Bavarian Illuminati. The Bavarian Illuminati was formulated by Adam Weishaupt. Weishaupt learned of a book entitled "Pythagoras." He was Jesuit trained in Ingolstadt University in Bavaria. The Jesuits to this day are involved in infiltrating government and working with Secret Societies (like the Jesuit Edmund Walsh working with 33rd Degree Freemason Douglas MacArthur. The Jesuits were banned from many European nations for their evil intrigue in the 1700's). He encouraged Jesuit and enlightenment principles to form his group in order to plot an utopian world state of democracy and the destruction of organized religion plus the monarchy. The Bavarian Illuminati were unsuccsessful by 1787 when the authorities in Bavaria found out what they were doing. Yet, the principles of the Illuminati like man-made utopias, global government, etc. still exist to this day. Members of the Bilderberg Group, the Jesuits, the CFR, etc. have members who said or promote the creation of a new world order (or global government). One symbol of Adam Weishaupt was the owl representing wisdom. Minevera is another meaning of the owl in the occult and the Bethren of Minvera was a degree in the Bavarian Illuminati as well. The owl emblem is embraced by the Bohemian Grove now as Minerva. Brainwashing and deceptive is done by such groups as well. For example, Demolay Walt Disney was funded by 33rd Degree Freemason to promote the Disney Cartoon with certain ideas in cartoons (Many musicians are from Disney and their music are approved by the establishment). Well, I'm anti-globalism. I reject the aims of evil people in government promoting the poison of flouride, the evil testing of dangerous chemical against innocent citizens, the child sex rings, the shipping of drugs into America (while performing a War on Drugs that violates the civil liberties of Americans on many levels), and the nefarious suppression of our liberties. I respect liberty and global government should be exposed. We should be active in helping people and helping out our fellow human beings.
