The Military Commissions Act of 2006 is a bill (Number S.3930[1]) awaiting the President's signature, having passed the Senate, 65-34,[2] and the House, 250-170-12.[3] Among its provisions, the bill supports the formerly secret CIA interrogation program and suspends the writ of habeas corpus for detainees. An amendment by Arlen Specter (R-PA) and Patrick Leahy (D-VT) preserving habeas corpus was rejected by a vote of 51-48. Specter voted for the bill despite the defeat of his amendment. The bill was finally passed by the house on September 29 2006 and presented to the President for signing on October 10 2006[4]. Source here

Today is probably one of the saddest days our nation has ever seen with the passing of the Constitution. Next you can probably expect to be arrested for having any opinions contrary to the government and you will be arrested for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ; it's only a matter of time now. The Military Commissions Act of 2006 was signed into law today thus abolishing 9/10ths of the constitution. As Christians we must try not to worry about this stuff because a one world government is inevitable for the near future just as the Bible tells us. Although, I can't help but blame myself for being blind for so many years. I would like to thank all the Christians that e-mail to tell me how wonderful the Bush administration is and how they are so Christian and patriotic. Thanks for leaving your heads in the sand and I hope you like the new Nazi China communist style country we now have. I am sure you will be pleased in the near future to see this site gone as the free-speech haters work to shut us down.
