The Next Generation Part 4

This just shows that we have a long way to go in perserving our civil liberties. The Supreme Court ruled in late June that the Second Amendment is an individual right. Now, that's the good part of the decision, because it's been established by the Founding Fathers that gun rights are for the citizens and individuals. One bad part of the decision is that court didn't struck down the anti-gun laws all across the country. Even liberals like Nancy Pelosi (who wants the Fairness Doctrine, which will violate our free speech rights if enacted), D.C. can still excessively regulate gun rights. In other words, laws are on the books where even if you have acute depression (but you committed no crime), you are deprived from owning a gun. In places like New York City and Chicago, you have to go to too many regulations and complicated procedures to just own a firearm. So, the battle for real individual isn't over. The upside is that the Court ruled that no location in America can overtly ban all of its citizens from owning a gun if they want to. It's an established fact that guns in the lands of law abiding citizens, strict enforcement against gun crimes, and real plus proper education about guns can decrease the crime. Many states with concealed carry laws have lowered their crime rates as well. Individual liberty expands into other areas as well. That means that the government has no right to monitor my emails or personal information without a warrant plus notifying me about it. It means that free speech zones are eliminated. That means FEMA camps arre gone from this nation. That means you don't lock up religious people for peaceful preaching which has occured in the UK, Canada, and Philadelphia, Pennslyvania USA. You don't call killing an unborn baby as a choice. It's murder and in America over 50 millon innocent unborn human beings lost their lives needlessly. Individual liberty means you have a conscience and you're not swayed or intimidated by the winds of political correctness. Individual liberty is the right of free speech, the right to get what kind of education you want, and get any type of health care you want without the government controlling all of society. That's the mindsets of many in this next generation.
