Memorial Day

Some in the LAPD are at it again. There is a CBS news clip in California. It was featured prominently on the front page of Yahoo.com. It talked about how the LAPD are melting down 40,000 lbs. worth of "illegal weapons." They are doing this in their claim of preventing criminals from owning them. Yet, the catch is that most of these guns that are being destroyed are perfectly legal and were handed in by law abiding citizens (they kept them in their own home). The propaganda about this situation is staggering for those who know about firearms. The CBS clip gives the impression that all guns are illegal and owned by criminals. This is despite of the fact that the vast majority of the guns shown to be melted down are rilfes and pistols. These weapons are perfectly legal. “We’re taking illegal weapons off the streets and putting them to better use,” states the LAPD officer at the end of the clip, failing to mention the fact that most of the guns being destroyed are perfectly legal (and were handed in by law-abiding citizens who had kept them at home). The anchor believes that the weapons could of ended up in the hands of criminals, which is a lie since some law abiding citizens gave up their own guns to be destroyed. The media is implying that the LAPD is going us a favor by destroying legal firearems. Only fully automatic firearms can be deemed “illegal,” yet most of the guns shown in the clip, which include a M1 carbine, used in deer hunting, a Walther PPK pistol, as well as a Winchester Ranger Model 120 shotgun, are completely legal to own. One officer shows a street sweeper Tommy gun, which is legal. The new anchors says that guns are delievered off the streets. The LAPD admits that they actually want legal guns destroyed by saying: “It’s not just criminals but people who have them in their homes that really didn’t want them - that’s where you get the kids accidentally shooting themselves.” The reality is that hardened criminals who want to commit more criminal actions in the future could care less about sending their guns to the police. Law abiding citizens giving up their guns could be defenseless from a home invasion by a real criminal. It's Orwellian doublespeak to assume that legal firearms are "illegal weapons." The good news is that more and more people understand that the Second Amendment is about individuals having the right to own guns if they want to. If you are an innocent citizen, the government has no right to steal your guns at all. The police have done worse by stealing weapons from innocent people in the world before form Chicago to New Orleans.

Matt Welch from Reason Online on May 23, 2009 describes about an incident whereby the DOJ is leaning on a newspaper because it doesn't like its editorial content. This is of course a violation of the First Amendment. There is the Mises Economic Blog. Over at the Mises Economic Blog, Federal Trade Commission watchdog S.M. Oliva explains how newspaper workshops are the least of it when it comes into FTC and Department of Justice meddling into media affairs. Now, the DOJ is having litigation agaisnt 2 West Virginia newspapers. They have been operating for 2 decades under a joint operating agreement. The DOJ wants to dissolve the agreement, because the DOJ is dissatisfied with the editorial quality of one of the papers (called the Daily Mail). The Newspaper Association of America, in a court filing, explained why that would be a bad idea. The Newspaper Association of America said that the government can't make a claim on Daily Mail's content. The government can't use a judicial decree that more newspaper editorial and news content be published in Charleston then currently exist. No branch of government in this Nation is entitled to determine the type or volume of the editorial and reportorial content of newspapers. Also, editorial quality is apart of the First Amendment. There are varying degrees of editorial quality from 60 Minutes to Entertainment Tonight. In the field of newspapers, different publications may take vastly different approaches. The New York Daily News is not the same type of paper as the Miami Herald, the New York Times or USA Today, to arbitrarily pick a few. Why would the DOJ want the Daily Mail to compromise and be maleable to the aims of the government? This doesn't make since the DOJ wants to control how newspapers are run. The truth is that we shouldn't be intimidated by the DOJ or anyone in what we read or what we believe. Even newspapers have the right to have the right of the First Amendment. Threats to our first Amendment rights exist in the anti-cyberbulling bill, the Hate Crimes Bill, and the Fairness Doctrines. Some people even want to shut down the web, so Internet 2 can come up. The Internet is one of the few sources of information where an everyday person can decipher the real truth in the truth. So, these threats are ever real.

A bill to audit the FED is gaining serious momentum. HR 1207 is gaining steam. If HR 1207 is enacted, it will amend title 31 of the United States code. That would reform the manner on how the Board of the Frederal Reserve System is audited by the Comptroller General of the United States. In order, this bill for the first time since 1950 can open the books at the people in the Federal Reserve. HR 1207 was sponsored and introduced by Rep. Ron Paul. On February 26, 2009, it was referred to the House Committee on Financial Services. It now has 179 co-sponsors. The bill can force the FED to give a public accounting of the trillions of taxpayer "loans" that are handed over to the bankers. It will also force the Congress to audit the FED. This can force out into the light of the day about how the FED does the practice of inflating the currency (for the gain of a small number of international bnakers). It can reveal the bankster practice of engineering financial crises and depressions. Congressman Charles A. Lindbergh Sr. said that the Federal Reserve Act was passed in the dead of night. This was done in order to consolidate illicit gains and eliminate competition. That is why many of the international bankers are monopoly men. This economic control is done scientifically. On March 25, 2009, H.R. 1207 had 44 co-sponsors. “We’re making great progress because a lot of you have helped encourage your member of Congress to co-sponsor the bill,” Ron Paul said. “And to me, this is very, very important that we do this. The atmosphere in the Congress has definitely changed. It’s changed with their attitude about the Federal Reserve System, but overall there’s a tremendous push by the American people for the Congress to wake up and have more transparency… I have argued, of course, that we don’t need the Federal Reserve. It’s not part of our constitution and we should get rid of it, but it doesn’t happen that way. But if we get the audit and get the books open, make them answer the questions, I am convinced that the American people will be so outraged that then we will have reform of the monetary system.” This doesn't mean that Ron Paul is perfect. He supports the Papacy, he denies that 9/11 is an inside job, and allies himself with the pro-CNP John Birch Society. So, I don't have unconditional support for Ron Paul at all. Banning the Federal Reserve is a fine proposal as well. HR 1207 could become law. If a simple bill like HR 1207 can't be passed, then that is a true shame among members of the Congress.

Steven Ertelt from LifeNews.com on May 22, 2009 wrote about a new national poll showing a 14% Pro-life Majority on abortion. This is the fifth of such survey in May of 2009. These polls confirm that a majority of Americans take a pro-life position on abortion or show movement in the pro-life direction. The lastest poll was done by the Polling Company of 800 adults from May 17-18. It has a 3.5 percent margin error. The poll found out that the public doesn't want President Barack Obama to appoint a pro-abortion activist to the Supreme Court. The poll featured two questions directly about abortion. The first question asked the respondents to identify themselves as either pro-life or pro-choice on abortion. The poll found a plurality. It found that 47 percent, took a pro-life position while 45 percent said they were "pro-choice" when it comes to abortion. However, a second question, asking respondents to delineate their specific position on when abortion should be legal, found a 14 percent pro-life majority. The poll found 55 percent take one of three pro-life positions saying that all abortions should be prohibited (10%), abortion should be legal only in cases to save the life of the mother (16%), or abortions should only be legal in cases of rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother (29%). Although, I don't agree with abortion for rape or incest. The poll only shows that 41% of Americans take the pro-abortion position along with 7% believing that abortion should happen for any reason whatsoever. Those results from the Polling Company survey further confirm the results of the four other recent polls showing either a pro-life majority on abortion or strong movement in the pro-life direction. A Rasmussen Reports survey released May 5 found that 58 percent of Americans say abortion is morally wrong most of the time and a seven percent increase in the number of Americans who say abortions are too easy to obtain. A May Gallup poll found 51% of Americans calling themselves pro-life and just 42 percent saying they are "pro-choice" and supporting legal abortions. A Fox News poll conducted May 12-13 found 49 percent of Americans say they are pro-life while just 43 percent say they are "pro-choice. And a Pew poll released at the end of April found the support for legal abortions has dropped to its lowest level in 15 years.

Stewart Best and Todd Bently agree with the concept of the "White Light." Although, Best and Bentley aren't affiliated with each other at all. In Chapter 6 of Stewart Best's Dark Light Series, he tried to say that the Shekinah Glory has the presence of a white light. The Shekinah Glory is found in the Holy of Holies of the Solomon's Temple. Masonic ritual mimic Solomon's Temple ironically. Todd Bentley also believe that when the Shekinah Glory comes the visisble presence of God in a blinding "white light." What is the white light? The white light is actually found in New Age/occult teachings. I heard Sylvia Browne praising the white light all of the time in the Montel Williams show before. Witches, occultists, etc. believe in the white light concept. The New Agers believe that white light energy enters the body of the Reiki healer (and travels through his or her body and then it's channeled though his hands). The Reiki healer believes that the white light can open a person's chakra. New Agers believe that the white light can heal people, but these entities that New Agers embrace are actually devils. HP Blavatsky talked about an aura appearing as a white light. Other occultists believe that a white light can control the astral body. According to New Ager Elizabeth Clare Prophet, the white light is called kundalini (or the energy that rises from the base of the spine to the brain). The kundalini is accepted in Hinduism. Occultists in the Tara Center use the Great Invocation in order to make the white light a reality. Lucifer is also depicted as the white light according to Dr. Cathy Burns' research. See, Satan and his devils appear as a white light to decieve people. The Bible says that God is light (from 1 John 1:5), but Satan and his devils acts as a white light to decieve human beings into following their agendas. I will follow God's agenda instead.

The so-called New York Terrorist Plot have been exploited to increase funding for the war on terror. The so-called Muslim terrorists were busted in NY. They were accused of supposedly wanting to blow up synagogues in the Bronx and shoot down military airplanes flying out the New York Air based National Guard. The truth is that these men were petty criminals that were set up by the FBI. A FBI informant last year sold these 4 men fake explosives and inactive missiles. The New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg even called the weapons fake, but these actions threaten our freedoms. Actually, the militarized police in NYC, the random searches of innocent people in NYC, and other Big Brother policies threaten our freedoms more than these 4 men. The men are patsies that have no threat to New York. The FBI manipulated them and now they face felony prison sentences. Some of them were on drugs. These men acted as amateurs at every step of the way. They had difficulty in finding guns and bought cameras at Wal-Mart to photograph their targets. One was even a purse snatcher and another used marijuana on the day that the plot was to be carried out. This case is similar to the Miami 7 (or how the FBI informant used men to plan a bombing of the Sears Tower in Chicago. Now, these men had criminal issues, but they weren't experts in terrorist efficiency at all. 5 of the 7 men were convicted). The mainstream media is exploiting the alleged plot to promote an increase of anti-terror funding. The problem is that there is less money to support anti-terror issues in a recession. Congress scaled back funding for the Department of Homeland Security’s Urban Areas Security Initiative in 2006, cutting it about $125 million to $711 million. DHS cut its urban security funds for New York by 40 percent to provide more to mid-size cities, provoking criticism from lawmakers and local officials. The grant for New York was cut to $124 million from about $207 million in 2006. This NY plot is a distraction since the FBI is creating absurd terror cells and then busting them in order to legitimatize throwing bilions of dollars in a rabbit hole. The demonizing of Americans and Muslims by these events by some is definitely wrong of course. Even the DHS demonizes conservatives, pro-lifers, etc. as similar to terrorists. The wild thing about that document is that it exist from the Bush administration not the Obama administration. So, all is not what they seem. We should look more careful at the truth of events when we see a supposed terrorist bust in the news.

Another Gallup poll show that support is dropping for abortion, cloning, and embryonic stem cell research. There is the recent Gallup Poll that showed that American support for abortion has reached its lowest level since 15 years ago. The Gallup survey asked Americans to determine whether they thought more than a dozen practices such as divorce, the death penalty and suicide were morally alright or morally wrong. Out of 15 practices, embryonic stem cell research was the fifth most morally okay, according to Americans polled, with 57 percent saying it is morally acceptable and 36 percent saying it is morally wrong. Abortion was the only 10th most morally okay practice for those polled with. Only 36 percent saying it is morally okay and 56 percent saying that it is morally wrong. Human cloning came in as the 13th most morally okay practice with a strong 88 percent saying it is morally wrong and just nine percent supporting it. On all three practices which pro-life advocates oppose, the Gallup poll showed movement in the pro-life direction. From the May 2008 national poll, the support for embryonic stem cell research has dropped from 62 to 57 percent. Also, in that same time span, support for abortion has dropped from 40 to 36 percent. Even support for human cloning has dropped from 11 to 9 percent. Gallup believes that this trend into being more pro-life among Americans is because that some independents are becoming more pro-life on these issues. "Most of the uptick in support for conservative positions over the past year is the result of Republicans (including independents who lean Republican) moving to the political right in their views. There have been no significant increases in conservative views among Democrats (including Democratic-leaning independents)," the polling firm indicates. Over the past year, the percentage of Republicans saying embryonic stem cell research is morally acceptable fell by nine points, from 50% to 41% -- a new low for Republicans on this issue since Gallup began measuring it in 2002. At the same time, acceptance among Democrats has held steady at 74%. The good news is that via books, the Internet, movies, etc. the pro-life message is having an impact. More Americans are pro-life now than about 15 years ago. More young people in our generation are more pro-life than Generation X and the Baby boomers. We are having an impact. The bad news is that we have a long way to go in order for a culture of life to remain in our society.
