Certainly, it's good news that the 2 American journalists are now in America from their immoral captivity in North Korea. Bill Clinton was apart of the negiotations to free the 2 women. Their names are Laura Ling who is 32, and Euna Lee, who is 36. Laura Ling is the sister of Lisa Ling from Channel One back in the 1990's. I saw Channel One back when I was in Middle school and high school back in the mid to late 1990's. I don't agree with President Clinton on every issue, but freeing the 2 women was the right thing to do. Religious liberty has been opposed by the ACLU for decades. A charter school uses the Bible in a class and this ignites a public firestorm. The Scripture in the curriculum incited the ACLU to investigate and a state review occurs. This new charter school is planning to open this fall in Idaho and it has come under fire since it publicly announced one of the textbooks students will be using is the Bible. The Namap Classical Academy has the freedom under Idaho's Public Charter School to develop its own curriculum (unlike some public schools). The deal is that students will be taught Latin and Western civilizaiton. They choose to use the Bible as a historical and literary text not as a means to indoctrinate students into believing a certain religion. A meeting of the Public Charter School Commission allowed parents for and against the Bible to be used in the schools to express themselves. The ACLU wants to see if this is a violation of a seperation of chruch and state as the Director of the ACLU Monica Hopkins told the Idaho Press-Tribune. The Public Charter School Commission will review the legality of using the Bible in charter schools. Even Idaho's Deputy Attorney General Jennifer Swatz according to Press Tribune falsley assume that even if the Bible is used in a purely secular manner, it may not be allowed in the classroom under the Idaho Constitution. The Academy founder Isaac Moffet have argued that the Bible will be used as one of many religious texts. These other texts include the Koran and the writings of Confucius in order to instruct students of history and literature without indoctrination. "The U.S. Supreme Court has held in many cases that public schools may teach about religion, including the Bible or other Scripture," Moffett told the Press-Tribune. "The Court has also held that public schools may use the Bible in the study of history, civilization, ethics, comparative religion or the like." Moffett commented that the Commission is trying to censor use of the Bible would violate the intent of creating charter schools in the first place. Charter schools are to be autonomous from some powers of public schools. The Idaho public charter school system have more than 30 of the schools have been created by teachers, parents, and commmunity members across the state. Its total enrollment of students is about 10,000. The Nampa Classicial Academy charter school is to be opened this month with 557 students (which is the 3rd largest charter school in the state). Moffet said that his philosophy don't match traditional education presently. He wants the core values of character, charity, civility, destiny, discipline, industry, integrity, service, loyality, originality, and patriotism to exist in his school. Bryan Fischer, the executive director of the Idaho Values Alliance, praises Moffet's attempt to restore the Bible as a historically significant text to education. Fischer said that the Bible is a piece of literature that influenced Western civilization, which is accurate. "They have clearly stated over and over they will in no way be using the Bible to teach doctrine, and that it will simply be used as a reference text," Michelle Hamilton writes. "It saddens me that the simple mention of the Bible, and people go crazy." Moffet told the Associated Press that the students will read the NIV to study cultural context plus archaelogical discoveries and they will use the KJV to study literature. Bill Goesling, chairman of the Idaho Public Charter School Commission, however, told the Associated Press that the Bible wasn't discussed when the academy was approved last year. Even in Virginia, I read parts of the Bible in a public school as a form of comparing literature not as a means to promote indoctrination. So, the Idaho charter schools are perfectly legally correct to show the Bible as a form of literature and historical context without forced indoctrination of students into a certain religion.
Congress is proposing implanting airport workers with RFID chips. This is wild and extremist, but it's true. There was a news report from May 2007 revealing that high level discussions (including a debate in Congress) exists that would possibly require all airport employees to be subjected to greater security measures. These employees include anyone from restaurant employees to airline mechanics. These measures include a serious discussion of imposing implantable RFID chips into workers or subjecting them to biometric identification systems. These proposals have been introduced globally. Their acceptance is paving the way for more widespread use of such measures. One example is how Government workers in Mexico are forced to take a chip or lose their job in some areas. A staff of Mexico's attorney general had to take the chip in order to gain access into secure areas. Voluntary implants were made for workers in a Cincinnatti surveillance equipment company in order to go into secure rooms. Discussions of monitoring airport employees are still going on. A June 2008 edition of ID blog focuses on the issue of vetting and tracking the wide array of airport workers. An ASIS program director admits that one of its aims involves looking to implement biometric assess control, a goal identified since shortly after 9/11. This director also discusses the possibility of mandated biometric identification programs. Entrusting TSA sceeners and similar database operators to have sensitive biometrics bases (like potential iris scands, fingerprints, subcutaneous implated RFID chips) is a frightening concept. This is not only promotes a prima facie invasion of privacy and promotes a guilty until proven innocnet mentality. The TSA has been corrupt for years. The Electronic Frontier Foundation found out that the TSA lied and covered up Congressional testimony about its taking of passenger data from airlines for use under CAPP II passenger-profiling program. An Arkansas prison even promotes its intensions to track its employees through RFID and biometric identification systems. Such systems are the testing grounds in airports nationwide. The TSA has violated the Fourth Amendment on plenty of occasions. New York in subways have checkpoints now. Even in the Army, the government, and among others employees in America, they have chips implanted under their skin in order to work in sensitive or secure areas. Today, this stuff is being sold on the premise of decreasing delays and make access more efficient. Already, programs have been implemented on a voluntary basis for passengers to move through airline checkpoints with “fast track” status using a RFID pass which tracks passengers throughout the airport. Logan Airport in Boston instituted one such pilot program in May 2006 to track both baggage and passengers during all points of travel. Air France began a similar program in March 2009 using ’smart’ cards carrying RFID identification numbers, digital fingerprints, a photo and travel information. There was a video of showing plans to place a taser bracelet on all passengers in the name of security. They shock a passenger if they are deemed rebellious. These programs on a voluntarily basis even threatened the use of more outrageous security measures even further. The TSA now does randon searchers via secondary screening at many airports (even after they were once screened by TSA checkpoints at flight gates. The passengers are checked of their belongings). So, mandatory RFID chips on people is a threat to this day even in the USA.
The Birth Certificate controversy is very strong. MSNBC, Bill O'Reilly, and others believe that Barack Obama is a natural born citizen. Others disagree and believe that President Barack Obama is ineligible to be President. What Really Happened from Monday on August 3, 2009 wrote about this issue. The birth certificate issue is certainly turned into a distraction that ignores the legitimate failings of the Barack Obama administration. Obama's polls of favorability are even falling. 2 birth certificates are found in Hawaii and Kenya. People claim that either one are real. One birth certificate image from Kenya is fake, because geniune birth certificates from the colony of Kenya have babies footprints on them. There is the 1964 copy of this 1961 birth certificate. The problem with this one is that that the document number is 47,004. Obama is a 47 year old chief executive and the 44th President of the United States. But the really damning part of the document is this. The location of birth is given as Mombasa. But Mombasa was part of the state of Zanzibar until December of 1963. This certificate is dated February 1964 and carries the name “Republic of Kenya”, Kenya did not formally declare itself a Republic until December of 1964. So, this Kenyan birth certificate is fake obviously. The hoaxers claimed that the Hawaii birth certificate is fake, but they haven't produced any conclusive evidence to back up that claim. They will have to prove it fake beyond a reasonable doubt. There is more evidence that backs up the Hawaii Birth Certificate. Hawaii has two major newspapers, the Honolulu Advertiser and the Star Bulletin. BOTH newspapers include birth announcements, and pages found in the archives of BOTH newspapers record the August 4th, 1961 birth of Barack Obama. The newspapers' names are the Honolulu Advertiser and the Star Bulletin. If Obama was a fake citizen, the Hillary and McCain campaigns would of immediately exposed this to the public. Governor Lingle’s office then followed up with "...The state registrar of the Department of Health’s vital statistics record office can verify Sen. Barack Obama’s birth certificate.” Lingle is a Republican, so she isn't trying to protect Barack Obama greatly at all. So, evidence to prove that Barack Obama isn't a citizen isn't there. This is one way the elite's mainstream media and the government can use to demonize legitimate blogs and real people in the alternative media. It's used to destroy credibility of real people while promoting the goals of the elite. Finally, Officials of Coast Province General Hospital reported: “We do not have computerized records going back to the 1960’s and can only sort through our archives by hand,” Dr. Christopher Mwanga, an administrator at the Mombasa hospital tells GLOBE. “We have searched for all the names of babies born on Aug. 4, 1961, and have not found the name of Barack Hussein Obama. That is all I can tell you." The Kenya birth certificates will be admitted as fakes by their creators, and the corporate media will have a field day bashing the blogs and radio shows that fell for the hoax. This tries to limit real criticism against the Barack Obama administration (like his failed promises on NAFTA, the war on terror, FISA, abortion, etc.).
Technology is increasing rapidly. Some believe that NexGen Al (or the Next Generation of Artifical Technology) is a threat to human civilization. Artifical intelligence according to some could mind personal information from smartphones or use a speech synthesis system masquerading as a human being. AI has many possibilities in dealing with robots. Some believe that they can be computer viruses that no one can stop or be predator drones (which are now controlled remotely by humans) that can kill autonomously. There are new automated systems that can produce new scientific results and even holding patents on minor inventions. This singularity concept can allow new intelligence machines to be smarter than humanity, and improve itself or design new intelligence faster than normal (which can lead into an intelligence explosion that is designed not by humans). Vernor Vinge is a world renowned pioneer in AI. He said that artificial intelligence will surpass human intelligence after 2020. He warned about the risks and opportunities than an electronic super intelligence would offer to mankind. AI technology is advanced now with in May 1997, Deep Blue (a machine) won the chess tournament agaisnt Gary Kasparov. Vinge speculated in his Computerworld interview that this chess game could be a first glimpse of a new kind of intelligence. Vinge said that Deep Blue is apart of clever programming (and that this success is apart of new trends of computer hardware performing better than humans in a single, limited probelm area. In the future, Vinge believes that improvements in the future could lead into success in other intellectual domains). "It seems plausible that with technology we can, in the fairly near future," Vinge continued, "...create (or become) creatures who surpass humans in every intellectual and creative dimension. Events beyond such an event -- such a singularity -- are as unimaginable to us as opera is to a flatworm." Vinge is a retired San Deigo University professor of math. He's a computer scientist. He writes science fiction. He believes that the consquences are unkonwn in the exponential growth of technology (as found in his 1993 manifesto called "The Coming Technological Singularity"). Some scientists wants limits on AI technology because of its rapid advances (AI can affect our lives in the futrue). While the computer scientists agreed that we are a long way from one of film's great all-time evil villains, the Hal 9000, the computer that took over the Discovery spaceship in "2001: A Space Odyssey," they said there was legitimate concern that technological progress would transform the work force by destroying a widening range of jobs, as well as force humans to learn to live with machines that increasingly copy human behaviors. Eric Horvitz of Microsoft believes that it's possible for superintelligent machiens and artifical intelligence systems to run amok. Horvitz goes too far in classifying this new technological reality as a religion. Singularity University is a joint Gogle/NASA venture that tries to cope to future ramifications of AI. Singurality ironically means that in the future humans and man might merge to be a god like being (while technological improvements are advancing in a turbo boosting way). There was the Agricultural Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, and now we live in the Intelligence Revolution. Singularity University wants to help people to deal with the accelerating evolution of technology (to harness it and see new interactions among new branches of science). These branches include artificial intelligence, genetic engineering and nanotechnology. Raymond Kurzweil is a proponent of transhumanism and he's one of forces behind SU. There's also the Singularity Institute for Artificial Intelligence whose sole function is based on the exponential AI increases predicted. SU wants the first AI to be benevolent to guard us not a terrible mechanical being. Singularity and transhumanism is one of secret goals of the global elite.
Health Care is an important issue. We should have health care reform. There are those who believe that the health care reform bill will bail out employers who hired illegal immigrants and skimp on their health benefits. Of course, FOX News reported on this story on July 30. On July 26, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi gave an assuarance that illegal immigrants will not be covered by this plan. Yet, immigration analysts say that the current proposals don't provide any mechanism to prevent illegal immigrants from participating in the problem. According to them, taxpayers could be stuck with supporting illegal immigrants who join the public insurance plan because their employer doesn't provide coverage. There is preliminary data from FAIR or the Federal for American Immigration Reform. I don't agree with FAIR on every issue though. They believe that illegal immigrants already account for $10.7 billion in state and federal healthcare spending. Jack Martin, a FAIR special projects director, stated that this amount would go up unless reform legislation is modified. “The bill in its current form is in effect going to be tempting to illegal immigrants who are not yet receiving medical benefits,” Martin said. “We would expect that the cost would increase.” FAIR did a recent study that found out that healthcare reform would not have any real barriers against illegal immigrants enrolling in the taxpayer funded public option. This study believes that illegal immigrants will have no verification system to stop illegal immigrants from recieving credits to purchase private plans (so in their minds, we will pay for employers who hire illegal immigrants and then skimp on providing benefits). The Center for Immigration Studies believe that illegal immigrants who don't have health insurance are at about 7.25 million people. More than half of these or 4 million people are probably employed according to Steven Camarota, who is the research director with the center. He believes that it will cost between 8 and 12 billion dollars annually to provide illegal immigrants with insurance coverage, yet there are many variables in the equation. One thing is that Camarota's estimate doesn't include covering children (it assumes that all 4 million people don't have benefits from their employers to begin with). It doesn't take into acocunt that some would have already recieved emergency from room treatment at the public's expense. I don't have a problem with emergency room care though since anyone in an emergency should be helped irrespective of what they are. We should have compassion in America. Carmarota believes that the health care bill could force taxpayers to foot the bill for illegal employees' health care. He said that: “The impact is really big.” This is because the reform proposals fail to admit there is a problem. “The legislation says illegal immigrants are not supposed to get this plan, but it also guts any of the mechanisms that would leave them out — typical Washington kind of thing.” So, what's the deal is that illegal immigration is wrong, but I wouldn't scapegoat them as the worst problem in the world. Trade deals and some multinational corporations made illegal immigration worse in America, so it's not totally the illegal immigrants fault (many of them try to make a better life for themselves). Now, any real health care reform should not fund illegal immigrants with taxpayer dollars since we live in a recession. Also this reform relates to American legal citizens primarily.
Steven Ertelt from LifeNews.com on July 31, 2009 wrote about how a Congressional Committee defeating another attempt to limit abortion funding in a health care bill. On Thursday night, a previous pro-life amendment was defeated. The Health care bill is still going on though. Rep. Joe Pitts (who is a Republican from Pennslyvania) said that his bill would make sure that taxpayer dollars wouldn't pay for abortion or subsidize helath insurance plans including abortion. "We want an explicit exclusion in the bill to prevent any taxpayer funding from paying for abortions," Pitts told his colleagues. "Anything else is wrong, and contrary to overwhelming popular opinion.” Pitts have received support from most Republicans and a handful of pro-life Democrats. He doesn't have enough votes to overcome the pro-abortion Democrats who control the committee. The panel voted 31-27 against the amendment. Douglas Johnson is the legislative director of the National Right to Life Committee. He said that the rejection of the amendment "underscores that H.R. 3200 would drastically change federal policy, channeling massive new federal subsidies to health plans that pay for abortion on demand, including a national plan that will be offered by the federal government." Johnson told Lifenews.com that pro-life American should do all they can during the Congressional recess to let their members of the House know that they oppose taxpayer funding of abortion. He wants all pro-life Americans to expression opposition to the Obama-backed bill before it comes to the floor in early September. Some call the recent Capps amendment as a phony compromise that was approved in a House panel. This Capps amendment was sponsored by an abortion advocate. This gave the impression that it would end tax-funded abortions in the health care bill, but it doesn't in reality. “This is a phony compromise, and we were expecting it. The amendment would still allow for taxpayer funding to pay for plans that cover abortion. This is a fig leaf, designed to lure votes from Members who want cover on the issue," Pitts said about the vote on the Capps amendment. Pitts said that the Capps amendment is a compromise and wouldn't explicitly ban taxpayer dollar to pay for abortions directly or especially indirectly. The committee also defeated a pro-life amendment Thursday night that would stop any mandate for abortion coverage. The hearing saw Tennessee Rep. Bart Gordon change his vote, allowing for its defeat. Rep. Shimkus voted no in order to change his vote and allow for a reconsideration of the amendment later after persuading another colleague to vote pro-life. Shimkus is a long time pro-life lawmaker. Click here to see how your members of the House Energy and Commerce committee voted on the Pitts amendment and let them know your thoughts about their votes. If your member of the House is not a member of the committee, contact your representative and urge strong opposition to taxpayer funding of abortion. Call 202-224-3121 or see http://www.House.gov. Taxpayer dollars shouldn't be forced to fund the murder of abortion at all.
Religious News are still here. There is the Mosaic covenant that was gone and the new covenant that exists today. The Mosaic law was conditional on its obedience. If you follow it, blessing will come. If you violate, punishments will come. The New Testament has the new covenant of one blood based on grace, which is unconditional. We recieve mercy and blessings by what Jesus Christ did not anything we ever could do. In the Mosaic Law, animal sacrifice and constant sacrifice were done to cleanse sin. Now, only the blood of the Lord can cleanse sin alone. Jeremiah 31:31-34 gives out the prophecy that God will give a new covenant where God will remember their sins no more if they will repent. Hebrews 7:7, 18 outline the information that the Mosaic covenant is obsolete now. The new covenant promises eternal life for all believers. The New Covenant is based on the shed blood which signed and sealed the covenant under the Mosaic covenant the shed blood of animals could only cover sins temporarily (Heb.8:27). The New covenant have Jesus did his once and only sacrifice for all people as found in Hebrew 7:27 and we are forgiven (Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 2:13). Many of the commandment in the Mosaic law are found in the New Testament like loving our neighbor as found in John 15:13. Heb 10:14,17-18 States "...For by one offering he has perfected forever them that are sanctified. And their sins and iniquities I will remember no more..." In new covenant is better than the new and we have the power of the Holy Spirit to leave the old sin nature to take on the nature of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Old law and we are saved by grace through faith without the Law. We follow moral laws after we are saved and not to get saved. In Somalia, 10 Christians have been murdered in Somalia. This has been reported by the Baptist Press on July 22, 2009. The people that murdered the Christians were Islamic militants. The dead include 2 sons of a Christian leader according to reports by Reuters Africa and Compass Direct News. The reports said that 9 of the 10 victims were beheaded. The extremist Al-Shabaab insurgents want to topple Somalia's West leaning transnational government and to enforce sharia or Islamic theocratic law in Somalia. The capital of Somalia is Mogadishu. Some believe that al-Shabaab is buttressed by foreign fighters with ties to al-Qeada. They want to cleanse Christians and monitor converts to Islam. They want tthis to occur where Christians workers had provided medical aid through a former Christian operated hospital.
