Liberty is important to discuss about. Nancy Pelosi made the deception that people in the town hall meetings protesting collectively were manufactured like astroturf Republican groups. She is not aware of the fact that many people protesting are independent. Democrats are shocked at the intensity and volume of the opposition of the present health care bill. August is the time of the Congressional vacation. Barack Obama knew that there would be opposition to his bill. That is why he wanted a health care bill to be passed as soon as possible. If such a bill is passed, it probably won't be passed until September of October of 2009. The health care bill is over 1,000 pages. Even the stimulus bill existed with much of the Congress not being able to read the whole bill that is over 1,000 pages. The people have been angry at the meetings. There is also the Waxman-Markey cap and trade bill that rushed through the House (with a 2 vote margin with no honest debate or citizen imput at all). The cap and trade bill (or HR 2454) will transfer money from taxpayers into corporate entities like Al Gore's group plus it will fund polluters via a carbon credit. It will also give the power of the government too much control over the use of energy in America. Some people don't want the government to have undue influence on the lives of people like cap and trade does. Pelosi is a hypocrite for calling the town hall protesters disrupters when she supported FDR's disruptive qualities. She didn't spoke out when the students at Columbia University shout down a speaker from the Minutemen, or says nothing about the organized shout down of Rep. Tancredo at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Many of the protesters in townhalls are not corporate funded groups like ACORN. They are grassroots organizations that try to spread the word on freedom. They want those from Congress to witness their legitimate concerns. No one rejects the idea of improving our nation's health care services. The problem is that health freedom is down with too much high costs (plus the government not properly used). The people who are attending these town hall meetings are angry about the threat of government taking control of virtually every facet of the private affairs of individual citizens. Although, Obama's health care bill isn't a government take over per se. The National Animal Identification System seeks to identify every owner of a livestock animal, electronically tag and trace the movement of every animal, and impose heavy fines on people who fail to comply. The Food Safety Enhancement Act (H.R. 2749) wants to do the same with all food producers. So, threats against our liberties are ever real.
David Barrett from the London Telegraph on Sunday, at August 16, 2009 described about the police launching the flying saucer CCTV camera. This is a police used remote control device to monitor the BNP's Red, White, and Blue festival in Codnor, Derbyshire. This is where anti-fascist protesters have assembled. It's very similar to a mini-helicopter. Its components have 4 pairs of carbon fibre rotor blades, which support a camera. A operator on the ground controls the vehicle's flight using a hand held control panel with 2 joysticks. The drone, which is based on military Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology feeding live images back to a screen on the control unit. This enables the pilot to operate the machine even when it is out of his or her sight. Merseyside Police was the first force to use the drones, launching them during a number of crackdowns on gun and gang crime. This will be utilized against anti-social behavior. The aerial cameras have also previously been deployed to deter crime at pop festivals. They have done a demonstration of this aerial device as well. This device can provide extra video evidence that can help police officers, which face allegations about their public order tactics (and differing versions of major events like the London's G20 protests in April). A Derbyshire Police spokeswoman said: "A pilotless drone plane will be used to record evidence at the Red, White and Blue festival. "The drone, fitted with CCTV cameras, will be used by a trained operator from the manufacturing company. It will record any incidents of disorder for evidence-gathering purposes. The drone is similar to a small, model aircraft." The drone is about 3 feet in diameter and can be configured to gather still images, video, thermal images, and night-vision pictures. Unlike full scale police helicpoter, they are virtually inaudible. The Derbyshire police have rented the drone for another force for the day at about 500 pounds. Police are told to change how they control public protests after newspaper seller Ian Tomlinson was pushed to the ground by a police officer during G20 demonstrations. He died. Earlier this month it emerged that a woman may have suffered a miscarriage shortly after being manhandled by officers at the G20 protests. So, Big Brother is everywhere.
Vaccines should be taken with caution. The corporate media in America is ignoring a report saying that the H1N1 vaccine is linked to the Guillain-Barre Syndrome. There is a google search found no mention of the Guillain-Barre Syndrome link to the experimental H1N1 vaccine in the U.S. media ironically. Yet, the story has made the round in the British press. “The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has asked doctors to check for increases in a brain disorder called Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) once the national vaccination programme begins,” the Telegraph reports. The Mail on Sunday have 2 letters that were posted together to neurologists advising them of the concerns. The first letter was dated on July 29. It was written by Professor Elizabeth Miller. He was the head of HPA's Immunization Department. The Times Online, Sky News, and the Daily Mail ran stories on the warning. Alternative news sites in America reported on the link. Yet, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and other corporate media sources are silent. 28,000 people in America will participate in a government trial of the experimental H1N1 vaccines. KPBS reported on August 10 that volunteers will be checked closely for any side effects. They also be monitored for Guillain-Barre syndrome. It was reported in people who recieved a swine flu vaccine 33 years ago. It's a rare syndrome that is usually triggered by a viral infection and no one knows for sure if the vaccine is also a trigger. There are adult volunteers for the clinical trials will be recruited at 8 seperate sites including Emory University in Atlanta (in other places like the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Group Health Cooperative in Seattle, the University Iowa in Iowa City, and St. Louis University). Deborah Shlian reported on these clinical trials for the Examiner on July 28.The initial tests will be vaccines made by Sanofi-Pasteur, which is an European company and CLS Biotherpaies (which is an Australian company that has supplied seasonal flu shots in the U.S. for years). Novartis is also conducting separate trials for FDA licensing.
Woodstock is over 40 years old in 1969. It occured in Upstate New York to celebrate drugs and rock and roll. The legacy of Woodstock is easy to understand if you get rid of the politically correct lens of faulty history books. The Woodstock celebration was the absolute peak of the Hippie Movement. There were almost half of a million people gathered on a farm about 100 miles north of New York City. They immersed themselves in a Dionysian frenzy of sex, drugs, etc. It promoted the myth that we are entering the Age of Aquarius or a new age of peace, love, and unity. The world's media like the AFP news service classified Woodstock as "epoch making" plus building on 1950's rock. They say that 60's rock changed Western society in big ways and some of it tore down Biblical influence. Christians have exposed how 1960's counterculture rebelled against God and his moral laws. The theme was “I’m free to do what I want any old time” (Rolling Stones, 1965). The rock and roll philosophy is a me lifestyle. This fulfills Biblical prophecy: "...This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves...” (2 Timothy 3:1-2). He died in a drug treatment center where he was battling a heroin addiction. This list goes on an on. The Grateful Dead glorified drug abuse from their beginning in 1965. They worked as a house band for Ken Kelsey's Acid Test, which was a series of public LSD parties. LSD chemist Owsley Stanley funded the rock group for awhile. Members of the Grateful Dead were accused of districuting LSD-laced apple juice to an unwitting audience. Their concert made 36 people to be rushed to a nearby Crisis Clinic for treatment. So, people realize what Woodstock was all about. Woodstock had people trying to find peace and joy, but underneath the facade was a promotion of moral relativism and a deceptive lifestyle.
Steven Ertelt from LifeNews.com on August 14, 2009 reported that the Medical center won't let LeRoy Carhart to take late term abortion patients there. This Wesley Medical Center is based in Wichita, Kansas. They won't allow Carhart to admit patients there who may have suffered form botched abortion. This is a significant decision, because it could prevent Carhart from opening up a new late-term abortion business in town. Carhart run an abortion center outside of Omaha, Nebraska. He had worked with later term abortion practioner George Tiller before he was murdered by a shot by someone who wasn't affilitated with the pro-life movement at all. Carhart desires to replace Tiller and create his abortion facility in Wichita. He wants an agreement with a local medical clinic to so do , because women injured by botched abortions need to be able to recieve immediate medical care. Hours after Operation Rescue created a petition to ask local resident to contact Wesley to ask its officials to deny that relationship. WMC said it will not allow Carhart to admit patients. Operation Rescue President Troy Newman told Lifenews.com on Friday that member of the hospital's administrative staff contacted him about the decision and indicated WMC would be wiling to issue a statement in agreement with that request. Newsman said that Paul Pettite or the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for Wesley Medical Center sent the pro-life group a letter saying it would not work with Carhart. "We are very pleased that Wesley Medical Center has taken the position of protecting life, and thank them for working with us toward establishing a community that respects and welcomes life," Newman said. "We also are grateful to the hundreds upon hundreds of people who took the time to sign the petition to Wesley Medical Center. Today, your voices were heard," he added. In its letter to Newman, WMC said, "Physicians do not conduct elective abortions at Wesley Medical Center." Wesley treats over 70,000 people in Operation Rescue's ED. The letter thanks WMC officals for supporting life and delivering over 6,000 babies per year. WMC officials said that they never had a transfer agreement with Dr. George Tiller or Wesley to enter a transfer agreement with any clinic dealing with abortion or otherwise. Wesley changed its policies of admitting patients who suffered from failed abortions. Operation Rescue's petition was successful since many people oppose giving Carhart an abortion center. A late term abortion clinic shouldn't exist in Kansas or anywhere else in the world. Operation Rescue, and the Nebraska Right to Life have already sent a formal request to the Nebraska Attorney General for a comprehensive investigation into Carhart's abortion business. So, the murder of abortion is being fought against despite Carhart supporting it.
Reuters from August 16, 2009 outlined that somebody is funding the Afghan Taliban. In Afghanistan, one of the richest sources of the Taliban funding is the foreign assistance coming into the country. Virtually every project includes a healthy cut for the insurgents. It's similar to protection money or extortion. The Taliban calls it spoils of war. In other words, international donors primarily in America are financing their own enemy. “Everyone knows this is going on,” said one U.S. Embassy official, speaking privately. It is almost impossible to determine how much the insurgents are spending, making it difficult to pinpoint the sources of the funds. Mullah Abdul Salaam Zaeef, former Taliban minister to Pakistan, was perhaps more than a bit disingenuous when he told GlobalPost that the militants were operating mostly on air. The former Taliban minister Zaeef says that the Taliban is very poor, with little expenses, people are hungry, and they have guns plus other weapons for years. The reality is different. The militants recruit local fighters by paying for their services. They move about in their traditional 4 x 4s. They have to feed their troops, pay for transportation plus medical treatment for the wounded, etc. They have to buy rockets, grenades, and their Kalashnikovs. Richard Hoolbrooke (the U.S. special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan) told a press conference in Islamabad last month that drugs make up less of a share of Taliban coffers than previously thought. He said that private contributions from Persian Gulf states fund the Taliban not just from the poppy crops. A shadowy office in Kabul houses the Taliban contracts officer, who examines proposals and negotiates with organizational hierarchies for a percentage. He will not speak to, or even meet with, a journalist, but sources who have spoken with him and who have seen documents say that the process is quite professional. The manager of an Afghan firm with lucrative construction contracts with the U.S. government builds in a minimum of 20 percent for the Taliban in his cost estimates. The manager, who will not speak openly, has told friends privately that he makes in the neighborhood of $1 million per month. Out of this, $200,000 is siphoned off for the insurgents. This goes beyond mere protection money or extortion of “taxes” at the local level — very high-level negotiations take place between the Taliban and major contractors, according to sources close to the process. The Taliban also extort money from the people in Afghanistan as well.
