xxxxx: I am surprise that you are surprise that people have heard of Kircher. I came across this guy many a time before I came to understand the Jesuit agenda. Can't think which books mention him, but I have a few. I should dig them out & send out a few references.
Do you believe xxxxx, that Champollion really was the first European to decode the Egyptian hieroglyphs? I have always doubted this & believed that this was always held within the mystery tradition over the past two millenium. The Kircher/Champollion info here reinforces my suspicion:
