Hypnosis is no more evil than a gun. It's a tool that can be used for good or bad. I'm a Christian, and I've used hypnosis and it helped me get my life back on track.
Also let's not forget that Pope Pius XII gave his approval of hypnosis as a therapetic method.

Pope Pius XII? The Papacy has many heresies. Hypnosis have been used for "good" and evil, while true spirituality have been always been used for good. Also, hypnosis has been used to control the will of man. It isn't necessarily to solve all phobias or illnesses any way.
