John F. Kennedy at American University, Part Three

JFK - JFK's Speech On The Irish In America:- A Special Courage - Splendid Gallantry

Part of JFK's speech of the 28th June 1963 to the
people of Ireland and Irish-Americans - and to anyone else who happened to be listening and had ears to hear.
JFK's speech was a bravura performance. His meticulously researched and beautifully written speech
delivered to the Irish Oireachtas (Parliament) proved a hit with the Irish at home and Irish-Americans. JFK gave a consummate performance and his audience lay spellbound and mesmerized. The overwhelming majority of the people of Ireland enjoyed what he said and admired him for saying it. It was the moment the Irish diaspora came home.
