Egypt and the New Era

The Egyptian Revolution is here in 2011. Radical changes have occured. People are celebrating that Mubarak stepped down from his office. That is a good thing since a dictator ruling a nation is a vice and it isn't a virtue. People have stood up against evil and nepotism. There are real changes in Egypt. I don't believe that NGOs or the elite influence the direction of the revolution. The people in Egypt should independently rule their own nation. People in Jordan, Tunisia, and all over the Middle East are celebrating in the streets as well. This is a new era. New reforms can occur in the world. Some people in Paris are celebrating. The ex-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak have ruled for 30 years. The Egyptian armed forces will take over the leadership of the country as Vice President Omar Suleiman announced. Some fear the Muslim Brotherhood and other influences in Egypt as Mubarak is gone. We should be careful about the future, but most of the Egyptian citizenry aren't extremists nor are in league with the Muslim Brotherhood at all. We need to be very careful to not experience anti-Muslim paranoia or anti-Muslim hysteria. Many Muslims in the world (even if you personally disagree with Islam from a religious standard) desire peace, inherit rights, and a goal of cooperation with their neighbor in order to establish a more tranquil civilization. Hosni Mubarak's money has been frozen in Switzerland. The future is uncertain sicne we live in a new era of time. The genie is out of the bottle. Many people who are in the Arabic world desire to throw off the shackles of tyranny and desire more reasonable democratic reforms in respective countries. The solution to the Israeli/Palestinian problem is a must in the 21st century. Egypt will have to recover from their issues and there should be employment, food development, and other means of survival. People do have hope to have a better situation than in the past 30 years.

The US Patriot Act is obviously evil. Now, the Congress still wants to renew even its most controversial parts of it. There has been a defeat for the propsoed extension of the so Patriot Act in the House. Some want to back to the floor for another vote. Janet Napolitano has notified a congressional panel that the U.S. faces the greatest possibility of a major terror attack since 9/11. There are many draconian provisions in the Patriot Act that some House Republicans wanted to extend. Even Obama would prefer the reauthorizing legislation that would extend these authorities until December 2013. Republicans tried to have the fast track the extension using an expedited procedure that allowed for just a 40 minute debate and no amendments. This failed to pass under a 2/3rds super majority. The extension fell short by just 5 votes. The bill could pass. The ACLU exposed 3 provisions that would be extended under the bill. The are Section 215, Section 206, and Section 6001. Section 215 of the Patriot Act would allow the government to get anything the pertains to terror (that contradicts the search and seizure provision of the Constitution). The section can expiere. Section 206 allows the government to have intelligence surveillance that don't tell the person nor the facility of being tapped. This is against search and seizure that require the government to state with particularity what it seeks to search and seize. It promote roving wireaps without naming a target. Section 6001 of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004, or the so-called “Lone Wolf” provision, permits secret intelligence surveillance of non-US persons who are not affiliated with a foreign organization. This granted only in secret sourt allows for abuse. It threatens the limits of the government's investigatory powers within the borders of America. Senate Democrats want to fast track the companion legislation or S.149 to the House bill as they seek to bypass the committee process and push the bill straight to the floor. People like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich oppose the Patriot Act for its anti-liberty rules. Some Tea Party people voted against the extension. Yet, several people who ran on a Tea Party platform voted for the extension (like  Michele Bachmann, Kristi Noem, and Allen West ). Some Tea party people don't respect civil liberties.
In addition, Ryan Hecker, a Houston lawyer and tea-party organizer, told the Wall Street Journal he believes the act has helped curb terrorism and “the movement should remain agnostic.” The Tea Party movement in its higher level has been co-opted by the establishment GOP. It's a shadow of its so-called Libertarian grassroots movement. Even some Democrats promoted anti-Bill of Rights rules. There are many hyped up or completely manufactured terrorist threats like the Times Square firecracker and the underwear non-bombings last year. The DHS promote the See Something, Say Something campaign in promoting some spy mechanism against citizens. Phony threats have been used to manipulate Americans and cause fear mongering to reign in the land. Just as former Homeland Security chief Tom Ridge admitted that DHS would issue fake terror alerts shortly before elections in a bid to influence the outcome during the Bush era, the Obama administration is mimicking the same tactic.

The Chamber of Commerce and Obamanomics are more akin now in 2011. The Chamber of Commerce is pro-Republican group. The President genuflect before this group more times than one when the Chamber of Commerce promote corporate interests. Obama is moving more toward the center and people are exposing this relaity more often. The super rich have a lot of power in this class war. What we have now is that the rich beneficiaries of our society want even more power when they witness record bonsuses plus record profits.
"Even as we make America the best place on earth to do business, businesses also have a responsibility to America," said Obama, this week, at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce headquarters, just a block or so from the White House. "As we work with you to make America a better place to do business, I'm hoping that you are all thinking about what you can do for America." What is needed nationally isn't the status quo. We have the status quo now. Today, the establishment want lower corporate tax rates, removal of federal regulations (to gain increasing profits), more free trade/jobs export agreement, and other acts. These acts are a 100% credit for capital investments, tax credit for corporations, corporate gain in research and development (although, there is nothing wrong with government spending for real research plus development), and the rich are withholding $2 trillion cash from productive investment in the economy. There is no radical plan to help the poor in America plainly speaking. President Barack Obama wants to freeze the annual domestic spending for the next 5 years and in his mind will reduce the deficit by more than 4000 billion dollars over the next decade. This is a corporate agenda that bashes the public sector. The U.S. Chamber believes that Social Security is part of deficit, so it's slow destruction is necessary. To them any social spending is evil and a sin when it's not. Education has been exploited to promote privitazation of edcuation, charterization, lay off teachers, strip down curricula, and shrinking federal spending (that forces states and counties to pay most of the educational bill). Stopgas legislation is about making states avoid or delay having to aise taxes to pay for the Great Recession unemployment insurance bills. You can't destroy public infrastructure and claim to be some economic guru. The Chamber of Commerce promotes reactionary propganda. Our economic isn't radically improveing with only a 36,000 net increase in jobs and the jobless rate goign from 9.4 to 9.0 percent. You don't advocate pro-corporate policies. You promote policies that enrich the lives of the poor and all peoples.

Pro Life News are still here. The Chinese forced abortion opponent Chen Guangcheng was beaten as found in a new video. Chen opposed China's one child policy. China Aid Association on Wednesday leaked the footage publicly. Chen and his wife were beaten senseless for in retaliation for the release of the video. Chen is a blind activist that exposed the systematic use of forced abortion in implementing China's One Child Policy. He served a 4 year, 3 month jail sentence for speaking the truth. He was tortured and denied medical treatment and now is languishing under house arrest. No one had heard from him since September until yesterday when he released this video. Chen and his wife were brutally beaten. They are unable to move from their beds. Chen has house arrest. A total of 66 security police surround their home day and night. Chen has been denied medical treatment. They can't communicate with the outside world as their phone and computer access have been cut off. The Chinese Communist Party wanted this act to occur.  That plan was shattered by “a reliable government source who is sympathetic to Chen’s cause and outraged by the treatment of Chen,” according to CAA. In other words, Chen’s video was leaked to the West by a Chinese government insider. The reliable government source was a person of tremendous courage. The CCP is no doubt interrogating all those responsible for walling Chen off from the world. The CCP want to see who is responsible for providing Chen with the means to get the message out. If the person responsible for leaking the video is discovered. The human rights record of the CCP is bad and its own security police are willing to risk their safety to stand up for those they have been hired to victimize. The CCP is trying to protray Chen as a dangerous criminal when he isn't. The one child policy isn't voluntary. Chinese President Hu Jintao during his visit to Washington last month told Rep.  Ileana Ros-Lehtinen that China has no policy of forced abortion. In contrast, Chen single-handedly exposed the fact that there were 130,000 forced abortions and involuntary sterilizations in Linyi County, Shandong Province in just one year, 2005. If China truly has no forced abortion policy, then why didn’t the regime jail those who were performing these forced abortions? Why instead has it jailed and beaten Chen Guangcheng? So, President Hu isn't telling the truth about forced abortions in China. Chen is inspiring people to stand up for their rights in China. Chen is still blind and beaten, but the truth isn't destroyed. Chen has the backbone to stand up to a totalitarian regime. The CCP percieves Chen as a real threat to its crumbling legitimacy. Justice should be done for Chen and his family. Chen has sacrificed his freedom to fight against the forced abortions against women, forced sterilizaiton, and infanticide. The coercive enforcment of China's One child policy caused more violence against women and girls than any other official policy on Earth. It is the greatest women’s rights issue in the world today. It does not matter whether you are pro-life or pro-choice on this issue. No one supports forced abortion, because it is not a choice. The Women's Right without Frontiers is calling for the immediate, unconditioanl release from house arrest of Chen Guangcheng and his family (plus for his family to have urgent medical treatment including Chen). To sign a petition to Free Chen Guangcheng, click here: http://www.womensrightswithoutfrontiers.org/. A wise man once said, “A house divided cannot stand.” The CCP does everything it can to present itself as a monolithic behemoth, but does it recognize in the hated One Child Policy its Achilles heel?

Many Presidents respected the Pope. Even Dwight D. Eisenhower is pictured bowing before the Pope. Ironically, he would expose the military industrial complex. I have no issue with exposing the military industrial complex at all. Albert Pike made a strange quote in his Morals and Dogma book. He wrote in pg. 819 of the book that: "...The Templars were unintelligent and therefore unsuccessful Jesuits..." This means that the Templars were unsuccessful in their endeavors, but the Jesuits were successful in many arenas. Eliphas Levi wrote about the Jesuits in strange terms as well. He wrote the following about them: "...The Jesuit thus trained is in communion with a circle of wills exercised like his own; consequently each of the fathers is as strong as the Society, and the Society is stronger than the world..." It's not a secret that the Jesuits were a threat in the world. The Jesuits since their inception wanted to destroy the influence of the Protestant Reformation and allow the Papacy to have huge hegemony to impact world religious and political circles.
