Economics and More Info in October 2011

There are many people who want to hijack the Occupy Wall Street movement. These people want to support the Democratic Party instead of being independent of political allegiance to either of the 2 corporate major parties. Michael Moore was in the mix. Moore promotes some truth, but he’s in the Left/Right Paradigm. This left paradigm believes in the false view that everything in the market is evil and the government is always good is in the Left Paradigm. The Right paradigm falsely believes in the lie that giant banks should exist and any regulation is evil. It’s very hypocritical to oppose any spending when you need some spending to grow our economy completely. The President’s 2008 campaign was financed by Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Citigroup, and Morgan Stanley. His cabinet is filled with former Wall Street insiders. The Federal Reserve and the big banks are allies. The truth is that you need some regulation and make government accountable at the same time to seek justice. So, the OWS must develop concrete demands to solve problems. You have to have radical reforms like student loan amnesty, etc. Consensus isn’t needed. It doesn’t work. People need help to find jobs, block a foreclosure, and have health care. People from across the political spectrum want an end to the illegal war on terror, the criminal prosecution of Wall Street bankers involved in crimes, the FED held accountable and those involved in crime prosecuted, real solutions, the restoration of our civil liberties including free speech, and a decentralization of political including economic power. It’s us vs. the elite. The elite also use organized religion (not true spirituality) as a means to make money and have power to control humanity.

The Chinese opponent Chen Guangcheng could be possibly killed. He is a human rights activist. He disagrees with forced abortions and the one child policy in China. Reggie Littlejohn is the President of Women’s Rights without Frontiers. Reggie told Life news that many ominous reports discuss about the blind lawyer Chen Guagncheng have deal with reports. The reports according to Radio Free Asia, Chinese authorities detained a group of at least nine human rights activists trying to visit Chen. On Wednesday, many members of the group were cut off from communication and, according to a report by Canyu, Shandong authorities shot at these activists. Voice of America reports that villagers told it “Chen is dead already,” but the media outlet is attempting to verify that claim. “We are alarmed at the report that villagers are saying that Chen is already dead,” Littlejohn told LifeNews. “If Chen is dead, then the Chinese Communist Party is fully responsible for killing him through torture, denial of medical treatment and slow starvation. If Chen is alive, we urgently demand that he and his family be released immediately and unconditionally, for medical evaluation and treatment.” Bob Fu is the President of the China Aid Association. He said that he’s concerned about the report that authorities have shot at the activists trying to visit Chen. Fu said that Gao Zhisheng is another human rights lawyer that have disappeared. Gao and Chen represent the promotion of real human rights in China. There is the shocking torture of Gao and his disappearance. This is about the Communists in China trying to trample on the rule of law. Forced abortions and involuntarily sterilization have been done via China’s One Child Policy. Chen has been called by Time Magazine named as 2006’s Top 100 People who Shape Our World. He has been nominated the Nobel Peace Prize. In early 2011, the House unanimously approved an amendment to its appropriations bill that gives support for Chen Guangcheng. Chen is against forced abortions in China. He was jailed for years after officials made bogus charges. Chen and his family have been placed under house arrest and prevented to have access to the outside world and have proper medical care. Chen told the truth that there were 130,000 forced abortions and involuntary sterilizations in Linyi County in 2005. The Chinese Communist Party imprisoned Chen for four years and three months and has kept him and his family under strict house arrest since September, 2010. His health has been declining because of malnutrition, intestinal illness, repeated torture and the denial of medical treatment. So, Chen might be alive. Let’s hope so.

Christopher Columbus is a controversial and imperialist character. The Nina, Pinta, and the Santa Maria sent Columbus and other all over the world. 5 people died in Columbus’ home. Columbus went into Portugal and then Spain to find someone to support his journey. Spain back then was dominated by the Roman Catholic Church. The Dominican monks used the Spanish Inquisition to harm religious liberties. The head inquisitor was named Torquemada and he was the so-called “spiritual advisor” to Queen Isabella. Just as Columbus was about to sail, the Spanish engineered a coup d'état at the Vatican and Spanish Pope Alexander VI was "elected" Pope. There was the infamous Bull of Borgia giving the entire New World exclusively to Spain. In 1455, Pope Nicholas V published a Bull entitled Romanus Pontifex in which he gave Portugal the exclusive right to conquer and enslave ALL non-Roman Catholics. This Bull was the forerunner of the deadly Bull of Pope Alexander VI which gave exclusive right to Spain to conquer and enslave the New World natives. He died of old age in Spain on May 20, 1506. So, many people realize that Christopher Columbus was a slick terrorist that used his religion as an excuse to promote injustices against Native American peoples. Banks and schools are closed nationwide to celebrate and remember this criminal named Columbus. I don’t celebrate the murder of my people or Native American human beings. Barbarism, violence, and imperialism are the evil actions acuminated in the mentality of these nefarious terrorists like Columbus. Even today, we have the same type of terrorists and imperialists lusting after wealth, material goods, mineral resources, etc. In his writings, Columbus called Native Americans despicable names. Columbus stole land and slave trade his way as well. His brothers Bartholomew and Giacomo worked out imperialist schemes as well. Columbus and crew murdered fleeing Native Americans who were the Arawaks. We don’t need to genuflect serial killers like Christopher Columbus.

Iceland made an example on the world. They rejected the idea that debts made by corporate leaders should be borne or paid for by the people. Some people want to arrest and convict the cartel-capitalist leaders who commit political and economic crimes. The people in Iceland fought against corporate raiders that we Americans can utilize. The budget for 2011 passed in December last year contains proposals for over 200 million euros in cuts, a substantial sum in Iceland where annual Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is less than 10 billion euros. There are still Occupy Wall Street protests nationwide. Despite a junta in Iceland, many Icelandic citizens have elected a number of more progressive leaders and reject having to pay for debts made by international bankers. They have voted twice to not repay international debts incurred by the bankers. The reason is that they aren’t responsible for the banker’s debts at all. 93 percent of the people in Iceland voted no on the first referendum from the spring of 2009. They voted no on the second referendum from April of 2011 (in paying back the British and Dutch government for the money they spent to recompense savers with the failed Icesave bank). It covered the debt that would cost Iceland’s 317,000 citizens around $17,000 each. JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Scahs, the European Commission, and other speculators are forcing the European government to impose austerity measures on Icelandic peoples that they didn’t vote for. After the second Icelandic referendum, even the pro-capitalist Financial Times on 4/13/2011 had to acknowledge that Icelandic citizens had voted to "put citizens before banks." Economic exploitation has existed in Iceland. Most people in Iceland are of Nordic and Gaelic heritage.  Iceland’s economic grew heavily via the Marshall Plan aid. There is also a high income elasticity of demand, fish resources, construction, light industry, and great literary. A welfare state came in the 1980’s. An oligopoly can to try to control Iceland. The Octopus or a select bloc of 14 families came to control imports, transport, banking, insurance, fishing, and supplies to the NATO base. The Octopus controlled the reactionary Independence Party or IP (it dominated the media, the police, and judiciary in Iceland). Neo-liberal economic philosophy was promoted by David Oddsson as well. He was from the IP party. The liberalization of Iceland’s economy came in 1994. The Oddsson government then sold off state-owned assets and deregulated labour. Privatisation began in 1998, implemented by Oddsson and Halldor Asgrimsson, the leader of the CP. Of the banks, Landsbanki was allocated to IP grandees, Kaupthing to their counterparts in the CP, its coalition partner; foreign bidders were excluded. Later, Glitnir, a private bank formed from the merger of several smaller ones, joined the league. This caused problems and the crisis came into Iceland. The people of Iceland became more progressive and opposed the acts of the IMF to dominate their nation’s finances. They don’t want the repayment of billions of euros resulting from the collapse of the country’s banking system in 2008.
