The Ford and Kavanaugh hearings.

There are a lot of new facts that are coming about after the Ford and Kavanaugh hearings. The American Bar Association wanted to delay Kavanaugh being voted until the FBI investigates the assault allegations. It is no secret that Kavanaugh commits perjury regularly. He said that he didn't watch Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's testimony, but the Wall Street journal reported that Kavanaugh watched Ford's testimony. He constantly blames the Clintons for this situation, but he brought this situation upon himself when he desired to be a Supreme Court Justice. This is certainly not about whether someone like beer or not. It is about protecting the lives of sexual assault victims and preserving human rights. He or Kavanaugh hypocritically criticizes polygraphs in his testimony yesterday, but made a 2016 D.C. Circuit opinion in endorsing polygraphs. Now, we have the sellout Kevin Jackson being fired from FOX News for disrespecting Ford. I don't feel sorry for Jackson since he made a common practice to disrespect women, slander feminism, and to disrespect black people (especially black women. Anyone who disrespects black women is certainly a repugnant person and I don't respect that person).

Also, Kavanaugh's calendar on July 1, 1982 mentioned that he hanged out with PJ and Judge. Dr. Ford said that PJ and Judge was near her when the incident occurred. This confirmed Dr. Ford on many levels. Lynn Brookes, who is a Republican, classmate at Yale, and was a friend of Kavanaugh said that Kavanaugh was misrepresenting himself in the hearing plus that he was lying about his drinking and partying. Lindsay Graham should be exposed since he's a two-faced deceiver. Once, he criticized Trump and now he is his ally. Rumors are going about that he wants to be an Attorney General or part of the Trump cabinet. Regardless if that is true of not, he is not be trusted. Kavanaugh's lack of temperament, his extreme judicial philosophy (as he is supported by the Federalist Society), and his constant lies make him unworthy to be the next Supreme Court Justice.

Kavanaugh's hearing was over. What we have seen was historic. Also, he has belligerent and apt to interrupt Democratic Senators who asked him serious questions. His refusal to accept a FBI investigation is telling. His attitude and actions in his hearing represented Trump's belligerent attitude too. He didn't watch Dr. Ford's testimony too. The Supreme Court is to be earned as a privilege not as a right. Kavanaugh's jurisprudence is totally extremely reactionary and not worthy of him being the new Supreme Court Justice. Five decades and more of progressive progress in America could be gone if that male is the new Supreme Court justice. I'm not using hyperbole. Affirmative action is almost gone now. It could be banned nationwide if that male is the new Justice. For him or Kavanaugh to blame a "left wing" conspiracy for this situation always is disrespectful to the survivors of sexual assault worldwide. Therefore, we have to use our voice out of a zeal for truth and justice. Dr. Ford gave her emotional testimony about her experiences too. Her words should be heard. It is important to ally with survivors of abuse.

Yesterday was the Birthday of Brother Glenn Jones. He is now 56 years old. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and he is a famous R&B/soul singer. He performed in the gospel group called The Modulations in Florida. He made many R&B hits during the 1980's. In 1992, Jones moved to Atlantic Records. During the same year, Jones released the album, Here I Go Again. Its first single, "Here I Go Again", was his only single to reach No. 1 on the R&B charts. The second single, "I've Been Searchin' (Nobody Like You)" was also successful, peaking at No. 8 R&B. His album Here I Am was released in 1994 and had a minor hit with the ballad "Round and Round", which reached No. 24 on the R&B charts. He is a very much an unsung artist that has shown his talent spanning many decades. I wish Brother Glenn Jones more blessings.

It is always important to honor modern day legends too. Yesterday was the Birthday of Sister Stephanie Wilson. She is now 52 years old and she was born in Boston, Massachusetts. For years, she has been involved in a great deal of studying STEM fields. Since her youth, she was involved in engineering. Her parents encouraged her to go into space exploration. Wilson graduated from Taconic High School, Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1984. She attended Harvard University, receiving a bachelor of science degree in engineering science in 1988. Wilson earned a Master of Science degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas, in 1992. Stephanie Wilson has been a great NASA astronaut for years. She certainly went into space to work at the International Space Station. She flew to space on-board three Space Shuttle missions, and is the second African American woman to go into space, after Mae Jemison. Her 42 days in space are the most of any African American astronaut, of any sex. She has praised the recent Hidden Figures movie and she has motivated others to promote space exploration. I wish Sister Stephanie Wilson more blessings.
