There is another mass shooting at Perry High School in Iowa. A student was killed and five people were wounded. The shooter was a 17-year-old student who died of suicide. It was the first day of the school for the new semester. The murderer was a teenager named Dylan Butler. People are investigating the shooting as the shooter was armed with a pump action shotgun and a small caliber handgun. The shooter made many social media posts in and around the time of the shooting. The person killed was a 6th grader. The police found an explosive device inside Perry High School during a search. The improvised explosive device is certainly hazardous. Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds thanked law enforcement and first responders for their fast response to the shooting. During these times, we know the solution to the epidemic of mass shootings in American society. There must be national, state, and local laws to have gun regulations, address mental health, have criminal background checks, go out to ban military-style weapons being owned by the civilian population, and target the underground illegal traffic of weapons.
The paradox of this time is that Donald Trump has been arrested on 91 felony charges, found liable for sexual assault, led an insurrection to try to overthrow the government, named in Jeffrey Epstein's files, and fined 5 million dollars. Yet, you still have people in America desiring him to be President of the United States. We know how a House Democratic probe found how Trump took money from China, Saudi Arabia, and other dictatorships during his term in office. Nikki Haley and other GOP candidates have admitted that they desire to cut Social Security and Medicare and force people to work years beyond 67. This is extremism at its finest. At the end of the day, it is a situation between democracy and fascism. We believe in democratic policies like cheaper gas, cheaper insulin, cheaper Rx drugs, student debt relief, voting rights, fighting climate change, ending gerrymandering, health care for veterans, investments in our infrastructure, ending poverty, upholding the integrity of our elections, and desiring justice for all.
The Epstein-linked John Does were named publicly. Jeffrey Epstein was an evil person who died unspeakable actions against innocent human beings. Many people involved in such evil acts were super wealthy, influential people also. Now, there are newly unsealed documents from a lawsuit connected to accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. This order came from a federal judge in New York. The only exception is two individuals who sought to remain unidentified. The documents are expected to include almost 200 names, including some of Epstein's accusers, prominent businesspeople, politicians, and more people potentially. Epstein's partner, Ghislaine Maxwell is convicted and is serving a 20-year sentence in federal prison. Many prosecutors should still be possible co-conspirators after the names are revealed. The names listed and being revealed are not necessarily a sign of guilt, but it does show how widespread this problem of abuse is worldwide. Bill Clinton's spokesman said that Bill Clinton had flown on Epstein's private plane but didn't know of Epstein's crimes. Trump said that he banned Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago estate. Bill Gates said that he regrets having dinners with Epstein to discuss philanthropy, and Gates is not accused of any wrongdoing. The lesson here is that following the Golden Rule of treating people right makes perfect sense.
