… Is RECORDED In Heaven!

The business community of Las Vegas, Nevada, has recently spent a lot of money advertising the slogan … “What Happens In Vegas, STAYS In Vegas!!!” As a result, business has boomed in Las Vegas! People are enticed with the thrill of pleasuring themselves with sexual sins, gambling, booze, and many other forms of wickedness. The Casinos of Sin City U.S.A. are filled with gamblers, prostitution is a major attraction in Nevada (legal and illegal), escort services are always looking for more whores to defile themselves for money, booze and illegal drugs flow through Vegas like rain through a gutter in a thunderstorm, homosexuality is commonplace—and God is angry with AMERICA! Americans can’t seem to get enough of SIN CITY! Everywhere we turn, we are bombarded with advertisements to come to Sin City, where one can indulge in wickedness and sexual immorality, and no one will ever know. But don’t be fooled friend, God knows! Not only does God know what sins you are committing, He’s keeping track of them in Heaven … in a BOOK!

What kind of works has God written down about you? What kind of works will God be writing down about you in the months and years to come (i.e., if you’re alive)? Don’t believe the satanic lie that your sins will stay in Las Vegas—THEY WILL NOT!

Las Vegas is so evil that the official logo of their Chamber of Commerce is …SIN CITY! The Old Testament cities of Sodom and Gomorrah weren’t anywhere near as evil as Las Vegas. The inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah didn’t have a Bible, or the exposure to the truth that we have today. Men have since sought out many evil inventions (Ecclesiastes 7:29). They didn’t have all the pornography in Sodom that exists today. America is much more accountable to God than Sodom and Gomorrah. America has been blessed with many mighty preachers, Bible-colleges, Christian radio stations, Christian books, Gospel hymns, Christian publishers, and Bible-believing churches everywhere. Sodom and Gomorrah had none of these!

America is one of the most sinful nations in the world. Americans are responsible for the murder of nearly 50,000,000 babies!!! That’s more killings than all of the soldiers killed from every world war combined! The TV is appropriately called "Hellivision." Americans have become complacent with violence and sexual licentiousness on TV, and in videos.

Licentiousness means:

1. Lacking moral discipline or ignoring legal restraint, especially in sexual conduct.
2. Having no regard for accepted rules or standards.
Does this describe America today? Yes, it most certainly does! America is a sex-perverted nation. The average public school child today has an extremely dirty mind. They have been utterly corrupted by the Hellivision! Children are often heard saying the most disgusting things. Now children are even being taught in the Godless public school system that homosexuality is an acceptable form of living. In fact, homosexuality is a sin. Anything goes nowadays in America, and you can bet that gay-marriages will soon be legalized by the federal government. Where will this moral decadence and debauchery lead? Sin always undermines any nation. Open wickedness in society always leads to apathy, indifference, confusion, corruption of leadership, and further moral decay. Just as a chronic disease that eats away at the human body until there is death, so will sin eat away at a nation’s health until there is certain death.

America is a land of evil works! Our good is far offset by our evil. Americans alone account for 25% of all world sex-tourism! The U.S. is a leading supplier of the world’s pornographic smut. Go to Las Vegas if you dare, and you will see much nudity, debauchery, and heathendom. It’s hard to imagine; but very true—some pastors are so apostate that they take their congregations to Las Vegas. I knew a Lutheran minister in Bensenville, Illinois, who drove a large gathering of his church members to SIN CITY! He arranged the trip! He collected the money! He drove the bus! Unbelievable! How sinful!

What kind of works has God written down about you? Are you without God like that Lutheran minister? Talk about "churches gone wild." What kind of works will God be writing down about you in the months and years to come (i.e., if you’re alive--Proverb 27:1)? Don’t believe the Satanic lie that your sins will stay in Las Vegas—THEY WILL NOT! God is keeping track of your every thought and action (Matthew 12:36). We will reap what we sow in life (Galatians 6:7). This is sometimes referred to as “the reciprocating law of life.” No one is going to get away with anything. We all must give account of ourselves to God, “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” –Romans 14:12. Don't be a fool by believing that you can get away with sin! Whether you want to believe it or not, every sin you have ever committed is recorded in Heaven, and will be used against you at the Great White Throne of Judgment to convict and sentence you to Hell. You've already been indicted by the Word of God, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

You Need a Lawyer

Therefore, you need a good Lawyer, and Jesus is the best! Jesus Christ can be your Lawyer if you'll receive Him as your Savior. We read in 1st John 2:1, "And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." The word "advocate" is a powerful word, and in the Greek means, "parakletos," which literally means, "called to one's side." According to VINE'S COMPLETE EXPOSITORY DICTIONARY OF OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT WORDS (Page 111), concerning the word "parakletos" ...
"...it was used in a court of justice to denote a legal assistant, counsel for the defense, an advocate; then, generally, one who pleads another's cause, an intercessor, advocate, as in 1 John 2:1, of the Lord Jesus."

What a beautiful truth! Jesus will go into court with us, and defend us. I learned a long time ago that you NEVER, I mean NEVER, go into a court of law without a lawyer. Only a fool, would go into court without a lawyer. I felt sorry for a man I saw in court once. His wife was divorcing him, and he couldn't afford a lawyer. Since he hadn't committed any crimes, he wasn't eligible for a public defender (free lawyer). The judge roasted him.

Listen friend, God takes seriously His Word. In fact, God has exalted His Word above His own name (Psalm 138:2). What God said in His Word cannot be broken! If you think God will let you slide, you are going to be shocked and utterly sorry on judgment day. You had better obey the Bible, and not change anything! God is angry with the wicked (Psalm 7:11). God's wrath is upon all Christ-rejecters (John 3:36). God will take vengeance, with flaming fire, upon all those who do not obey the Gospel (2nd Thessalonians 1:8). Don't think for one second that your sins will stay in Las Vegas, or anywhere else. The beloved evangelist, Dr. John R. Rice, preached a powerful sermon called, "When Skeletons Come Out of the Closet" (Real Audio). This is serious folks! God does not take sin lightly. For men and women to live in sin, like there's no God, is the same as violating probation, or defiantly disobeying a court order. If an earthly judge would imprison you for violating a court order, what do you think God is going to do to you for violating His Word? It is serious! You need a lawyer, and the ONLY Lawyer that can help you on judgment day is Jesus Christ.

A Better Way and a New Life

There is another book mentioned in Revelation 20:12, “…and another book was opened, which is the book of life…” This is a good book, filled with the names of the redeemed of God. Whosoever has their name written in the Book of Life will not be cast into the Lake of Fire; but will enjoy the blessedness of Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came to this sin-cursed earth as a man, God incarnate (John 1:1,14; 1st Timothy 3:16; Colossians 2:9). Jesus went to the cross and was crucified for our sins (John 3:16). Jesus did so because He wanted to save us from our sins, and from the punishment of Hell (John 3:17). No one has to go to Hell (Greek: "Gehenna," the Lake of Fire). Eternal life is a free gift of God (Romans 5:15; 6:23), paid for by the precious blood of Jesus Christ (1st Peter 1:18,19). If you've been born-again, then your name IS in the Book of Life, and you won't be punished for your sins written in the other books. You won't go to Hell, because Jesus paid for your sins. But if you've never been saved, and you've knowingly rejected Christ as your personal Savior, then you will go to Hell when you die. This is what the Word of God teaches, and you'd be a fool not to believe the Bible. Think about it. I'm amazed how many people will say they don't believe the Bible, when they've never studied it's history, detailed facts, and It's impact upon humanity. The Bible has NEVER been proven wrong! That should greatly scare you if you are an unbeliever (Revelation 21:8)

If you die in your sins, you will go to Hell. I say this kindly; but as a stern warning. Jesus stated in John 3:20 that it is man's love for sin that keeps him from coming to the Light (the Truth) to be saved, "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." Jesus is the Light (John 8:12). The Word of God is Light (Psalm 119:105).

Oh how many tens-of-millions of people will go to Hell one day because they loved the sins of Las Vegas ... SIN CITY! What sinner wants to come to Christ, or the Word of God, to have their works exposed for what they are --SIN! This is why many sinners refuse to be saved--because they love their sins. This is what 1st John 2:15-17 means when it warns us ...
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."

This is why no one else was saved from the flood in Noah's day, except Noah's own family--because men and women loved the sinful world. Instead of repenting of their wickedness, the people mocked Noah for 120 years while living in sexual immorality and every form of sin imaginable. Las Vegas is a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah. Even Sodom, as evil as it was, didn't go so far as to label itself as "SIN CITY!" Can you imagine the Sodomites bragging, "What Happens In Sodom, STAYS In Sodom!!!" Oh how wicked and vile is the city of Las Vegas!!!!!! God will not be mocked. What Happens In Vegas, Is RECORDED In Heaven (Revelation 20:12)!!! The books will be opened at The Great White Throne of Judgment, and the unsaved will be convicted and sentenced to the Lake of Fire for all eternity for their sins. The only escape is through Christ Jesus.
