Watchman's words

Watchman: Notice how these left-wingers understand that they simply CANNOT win the Presidency without getting the Christian vote. Come election time, they have to PLAY DOWN the radical, pro-abortion, pro-sodomy feminism that they thrive on the rest of the time. They have to risk making that constituency a bit uncomfortable for awhile in order to get there. But the lefties know that these people will come back around to their radical dogma once they obtain their seats. They understand that this is a "necessary evil" to get their guy (in Hillary's case) in power. But church-goers are so easily swayed by anyone who remotely hints that they "love Jesus" and accept the pablum unconditionally. It doesn't matter that their candidate has promoted sodomy and sodomite marriage and abortion on demand and even partial-birth abortion. As long as they "love Jesus".

Antonio: I don't buy it for a minute. Their actions alone prove that they never had a relationship with Christ or have an incredibly weak one. Joining a Bible study or giving a speech about your adult baptism and conversion does not outright the wicked things they support and promote. Neither would ever recieve my vote. I look into Republicans just as harshly. I'm not fooled that easily._________________Angry? Need a weapon? Pray!

Watchman: First of all, Chuck Hagel IS liberal, so the fact that he has made such a statement is not in it's favor. I agree that this is a bogus distraction, but not for the reasons that the liberals do.

Posters on this board did NOT "excoriate Rick Warren for visiting Syria". He was excoriated for going to Syria and repeating as true, the propaganda he got from the Syrian government, stating that it was NOT a terrorist state, that it was "tolerant of Christianity", etc. (just like Billy Graham did with the Soviets 25 years ago). He was also excoriated for denying that he had taken any video on the trip, then claiming his own video that he posted on YouTube was gleaned from 100 hours of tape (that he never recorded). THAT'S why Rick Warren was excoriated. Not simply for "visiting Syria".
