Rome and the Holocaust

Dear Brother Troy,

What an awful blasphemy! Rome never protected the Jews especially the Jews in Rome. The Jews were deported to Auschwitz by the Nazi SS under SS Major Kappler after he extorted 33 pounds of gold from the Jews. The SS also shot 335 Italian patriotic nationalists (including 70 Jews) in a cave as a reprisal for the killing 32 SS troops. It was called the Ardeatine Massacre, killing ten Italians for every SS man lost. Here is the truth from Nino Lo Bello, a brave Italian Roman Catholic journalist and author of the day:

"It took Rev. Robert Leiber, a Jesuit professor of ecclesiastical history at the Pontifical Gregorian University -- and an extremely close confidant of Pius XII throughout his reign [Leiber was Pius' Jesuit confessor] -- to become the foremost spokesman and apologist for the Vatican. He also was dishonest in what he published. . . .

Still another statement by Father Leiber reported that of the 4500 Jews hidden in various clerical hideouts in Rome, many of these were hidden within Vatican walls. This Leiber declaration also is an exaggeration, for neither the Chief Rabbi of Rome nor any of the important members of the Jewish community of Rome could report of ever having heard of a single Jew who had been hidden inside the Vatican itself. One reporter in Rome, seeking to verify this, spent a lot of time tracking down what he thought was the only known family, 11 Jews in all, which had been given a four-months' haven inside the Vatican --- but that appeared to be a special case because one of the daughters in the family had been engaged to marry a Catholic who had been befriended by a priest living inside the Vatican. The other exception was a converted Jew who made a large sum of money as a manufacturer of ready-made clothing, and when he died in 1949, he left all his possessions to Pius XII, as per promise."

The Vatican Papers, Nino Lo Bello, (Kent, Great Britain: New English Library, 1982) pp. 36, 38.

Of the boasted thousands of Jews having been hidden the Vatican, only ELEVEN can be confirmed.

Knight of Malta Pope Pius XII never raised a hand to help the Jews of Rome. This truth was covered up by four known Jesuits after the war: one of them was Robert Leiber.

And no wonder: for the SS Inquisition was directed by the Black Pope's Jesuits in SS uniforms, one of them being Walter Rauff who worked with Austrian Jesuits after the war evacuating SS men through the Brenner Pass into Italy and from there to foreign ports---like New York City.

Sincerely in faith,

Brother Eric

QUOTE
Attached is a picture of a monument of marble erected in Rome in 1946 from the Jewish communities in Italy to commend Pope Pius XII. This has mysteriously disappeared. We do have a picture.

Here is the translation in English:

The Jews to His Holiness Pius XII

"The Congress of Delegates of the Italian Israelite communities, held in Rome for the first time after the Liberation, is obliged to pay tribute to Your Holiness, and to express the deepest sense of gratitude from all Jews, for the show of human brotherhood by the Church during the years of persecution and when their lives were put in danger by the Nazi-Fascist atrocities. Many times, sacerdotes endured prison and concentration camps and even sacrificed their lives to aid the Jews. Such proof that the sense of goodness and charity still drives the just has served to lessen the shame of the indignities endured, the torment of the losses millions of human beings suffered. Israel has not finished suffering: the Jews will always remember what the Church, under orders from the Popes, did for them in that dreadful time".

Motion approved by the Third Congress of the Italian Israelite Communities held in March 1946
