The all-too-common anti-futurism is misleading. Futurism always gets labelled as Jesuitical by certain supposedly Anti-Romanist researchers, but the critics fail to acknowledge that while every Pope is an antichrist, there is an ultimate Antichrist yet to come. The Antichrist will too be a Pope, indeed clearly the final Pope & when indwelt with Satan. This is Biblical futurism, clearly justified scripturally & not to be confused with Jesuitical futurism - which points people away from looking at Rome & strictly to the future for the Antichrist.

Veith's Seventh Day Adventist works-based salvation is a fundamental, defining Romanist doctrine. Thus Veith is either misguided in his faith or misguiding in his agenda. Romanism is more than the Catholic Church. Works-based salvation is Satan's dogma. No matter how much one "exposes" Rome, if one continues to be a posterboy (or girl) for Seventh Day Adventism, then one is ultimately a promoter of Romanism.

I wish I could contribute more to this conversation, but the explanation of partial-futurism, and Eric your names and details are somethin too esoteric for me to be able to add anythin to them.
Eric is most penetratin in the matters of history, and willin to correct himself in those details which he is alerted to have been wrong.
However, his conception of the Bible is so mixed up as to require a prayer for God to give to him a complete makeover in his understandin.
Only the last post occupies your web page, on my google alert, so I don't know what came before in the conversation. I'll do a "goback" and find out what might the said details be.
