Thursday News

People especially poorer communities should have more banks, stories, and other businesses owned by us as black people. Our infrastructure should grow and more economic & political power should be owned by us as a people collectively. We have massive spending power, but we have a long way to go in transforming that into collective ownership. At the end of the day, more ownership & independence is needed in our community. Also, we should be politically independent. Yet, some use the “independent” label as an excuse to ally with reactionary extremists who want our voting rights gone, who want all of the social safety net eliminated, and who love imperialism. So, we have every right to be independent, but revolutionary too. That means that we care for the environment. We respect human civil liberties and we reject corporate personhood. These things are important. Mainstream news has shown propaganda (as we know that a corporate oligarchy dominates the mainstream media. Many of the media heads are members of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderberg Group), but the alternative news has shown truths. I have learned real info all of my life from exposing the TPP, learning about the evils of QE, learning about NSM 200, the evils found in globalization, learning about the African Diaspora, and believing in other real freedoms. We should reject patronize from the Republican or the Democratic parties. Yet, we should not be arrogant because we know about certain issues. We should be strong and humble enough to assist our people, so more of our people can wake up. It has been less than 60 years since overt Jim Crow ended. Many of our relatives like our parents or our grandfathers experienced the oppression of Jim Crow segregation. Yet, in less than 60 years, we still have made great contributions in the world. Also, we survived centuries of oppression. If we survived the unspeakable acts of the Maafa, slavery, and Jim Crow, then we will survive in the future. The concept of COMMUNITY is ingrained in our psyches, because our black African ancestors loved the concept of COMMUNITY and GOD too. Africa and spirituality are historically and culturally linked as history proves. So, there is nothing wrong with peaceful religious expression that can be used as a means to institute REVOLUTIONARY SOLUTIONS. No one can stop the truth at all. No one can refute the beauty of our melanin. No one can refute our resilient power and no one will prevent us FROM MOVING FORWARD IN FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE.

I heard of Ann Coulter for years. Ann Coulter is a neo-conservative. She is similar to Rush Limbaugh ideologically and she has made controversial comments for years. I don't agree with her agenda at all. She has the right to use satire and people have the right to criticize it. So, free speech is a two way street. The fundamental point is that we should express great empathy for the missing Sisters in Nigeria including missing people globally. Also, many want to take their country back into an era where the rights of minorities were stripped, where environmental protections were gone, and where bigotry was overtly displayed (in a high level). She has supported imperialist policies and has expressed massive Islamophobia for years. She once told a Muslim young woman (her name is Fatima Al-Dhaher, who was a Canadian University student) that she can ride an animal’s back instead of flying an airplane. In 2011, Coulter appeared on Bill O’Reilly’s Fox show basically stating the Japanese should be thankful for the radiation from the melted down Fukushima reactors as radiation is actually “good for you.” So, her track record is known. She has spewed evil words and she should be ashamed of herself. We should remember these stories of the 1970 riot in Georgia. Some folks have a reactionary view of riots. The truth is that riots never exist out of a vacuum. Folks have the right to investigate why riots exist in the first place. Many riots start because of the oppressive conditions that oppressed people have suffered. It is obvious that back then black people were the victims of racism, discrimination, police brutality, economic deprivation, and other forms of oppression in Augusta, Georgia. So, these factors influenced the development of that specific riot (and so many others). We have to discuss issues and understand each other if we want to get things solved in the world. RIP to the six Brothers that died.

We have more news in Ukraine. The Luhansk Republic recently declared its independence from Ukraine.A total of 96.2% voted for self rule in the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine. The results of the Sunday referendum was announced on Monday. The Head of the Central Election Committee of the self proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic Alexader Malykhin gave a speech about the situation. The Luhansk People’s Republic have residents who supported the act on state soveferignity at the May 11 referendum. It declared independence from Ukraine. ‘Popular governor’ Valery Bolotov stated this at a rally on Monday.“We have chosen our path of independence from arbitrariness and bloody dictate of the Kiev clique, fascism and nationalism, the path of freedom, the path of rule of law,” Bolotov said. “From the moment of declaring its independence, a new life free from dictate of Kiev authorities will start for the Luhansk People’s Republic,” he added. Earlier Ukraine’s Luhansk City Council has demanded that the authorities in Kiev should ensure the process of federalization in the country. “We demand that the current authorities follow the voice of the people and immediately make constitutional changes which should enable the federalization process,” the council’s presidium members said in a statement on Monday. “Otherwise, responsibility for breaking up the country will fall on the central authorities.” Council deputies urged the Kiev authorities to grant Russian the official status of a second state language and to stop “the fratricidal war” in Ukraine’s eastern regions. A total of 96.2% voted for self-rule in the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine, where the results of the Sunday referendum were announced on Monday. We see hundreds of U.S. mercenaries directing the repression of pro-Russian protesters in eastern Ukraine by the fascists forces of the NATO puppet regime in Kiev (as said by German media reports). These mercenaries are employed by the firm previously known as Blackwater (or he big private military contracting firm founded by the former U.S. Navy SEAL Erik Prince). It is now called the Academi since 2011. It was once called Xe too. They massacred civilians in U.S. occupied Iraq. They are now coordinating the attacks by the fascist Right Sector militia or the Kiev regime’s National Guard. This information was communicated to the office of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other top German officials on April 29. Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service (BND) said that 400 Blackwater troops are supporting Kiev’s security forces in eastern Ukraine, including in Slavyansk. Der Spiegel wrote, “This information reportedly comes from US intelligence services and was communicated during a so-called Intelligence Situation meeting, a regular discussion chaired by Chancellery Chief of Staff Peter Altmaier (CDU). The Presidents of the intelligence services and of the Federal Criminal Office and the intelligence coordinator of the Chancellery as well as high-ranking government officials attended the meeting.” Erik Prince said that his frim became a virtual extension of the CIA. The U.S. mainstream media is not reporting on the Academi’s role in the Ukraine. The Kiev regime is reactionary, neo-colonial, and is illegitimate. It tries to suppress popular opposition, but human rights will prevail in the end.

Anyone real would want the Nigerian girls to be returned back to their families. Human beings have every right to call for rescuing the young girls. Also, we have to be reminded of the complex issues in Nigeria. The Nigerian government has suppressed the human rights of peaceful dissidents and delayed their response in finding the girls (which is disgraceful). There is huge economic inequality among the rich and the poor there as well. Also, we have to factor in Africom and other Western corporate interests exploiting the great resources of Nigeria including Africa in general. We know that European imperialists for centuries have raped black people, stolen lands, and exploited lands in Africa. Boko Haram is an evil organization. What is also evil is Western imperialism too. We know that Boko Haram has grown after the destabilization of Libya as a product of NATO war crimes in Libya. So, an international solution is needed to bring the girls home not a massive militarization, imperialist solution. I hope the girls are returned home ASAP. Many people seem to omit the Republican Southern Strategy and how many Republicans advanced reactionary policies. We know that the right wing Dixiecrats came into the Republican Party massively by the 1960's. It was the alliance of progressive Democrats and progressive Republicans (including civil rights heroes) that helped to allow the passage of civil rights, voting rights, housing rights legislation. The reactionaries opposed giving black people legal policies that were against the racist status quo. The reactionary mindset is not limited by party affiliation either. Some parts of the Voting Rights Act have been compromised by a mostly Republican dominated Supreme Court. So, you are right on many levels. Many things happen for a reason. We are fortunate enough to understand many issues that deal with our PEOPLE. Not many know what we know. Therefore, we have a great responsibility to help the masses of our PEOPLE (like working in non-profits, assisting the homeless, working with children, allying with independent political organizations that are doing great work, etc.) that the Creator would want us to do. When you do want is right, you do feel good. When I write insightful information, when I give assistance to the poor, or when I assist the youth in many endeavors (in real life), I feel great and I feel a great sense of peace in my heart. So, we have every right to educate our people, to love our COMMUNITY, and to be part of the solution.

These lawyers are very brave to do what they are doing. They are risk of losing family and friends, but some principles are worth maintaining. These principles include the rule of law, due process, and international law. Legal protections and human rights are not limited to Americans alone. They ought to exist among people all over the globe. Therefore, trying these suspects in court surely is better than torturing them, depriving them of all forms of human rights, and forming more unjust wars. We know how unfair the judicial system is against many black people including others throughout American history. So, if these suspected terrorists have done anything immoral, then they should be tried and convicted. Also, we should know that the Western forces have done crimes of using depleted uranium, killing civilians with drone attacks, aiding reactionary terrorists in Libya plus Syria, creating aggressive, preemptive wars, and sponsoring a nefarious torture policy (as documented by CIA documents. Abu Ghraib and other international rendition centers are some examples of the evils of grotesque torture sponsored by American tax dollars). First, RIP to Amiri Baraka. His amazing use of language and his understanding of the political parameters of the world society are admired. His son Ras Baraka won the Newark Mayoral race. It is a new era. Like always, I wish the best for him. Ras learned a great deal from his father and I do hope that he will be instrumental in causing Newark to be a better city than in previous years. Newark is an urban location with a myriad of challenges. Yet, dedicated human beings in Newark are still fighting for better education, strong workers' rights, and further economic justice. Their aspirations are our aspirations. I send much respect to the city of Newark.
