The Truth.

When it is all said and done, African Americans have made huge, monumental contributions in the atmosphere of world history. I am an African American, so the African American story is deeply personal in my heart. For centuries from the 1500's to the present, we have been doctors, teachers, lawyers, athletes, musicians, judges, dancers, activists, dentists, theologians, and other leaders in our communities. Our ancestors experienced the worst crime in human history for centuries (i.e. The Maafa and slavery in North America), but we still rise. We have been slandered, but we still rise. African American culture is the heartbeat of American culture. Our music, our dance, our soliloquies, our social mores, and other creative power can never be duplicated. As members of the African Diaspora, we love Africans, Afro-French human beings, Afro-Caribbeans, and all people of the black African Diaspora.

We also love the strength and courage of the African American community too. Shows like Roc and movies like Love Jones including Malcolm X describe the breadth of our pain, our joy, our soul, and our lives in general. Most of us came from West and Central Africa. Most of us are of Bantu heritage (DNA testing proves that my ancestors mainly came from Nigeria and the Congo). Once a Bantu, always a Bantu. Therefore, I am thankful of my Bantu ancestry. There are over 40 million African Americans today, and we live mostly in the South including large urban areas. Most of us African Americans are Protestants and Baptists. We are diverse in our religious views, our cultural identities, our basic interests, and other things, but we are unified in our common purpose for the advocacy for justice. That is the major part of our existence. We will always lift our voices to sing the song of freedom.

Sister Ayanna Pressley has officially endorsed Elizabeth Warren as President of the United States. This is not surprising, because Warren's views are very similar to Pressley's views. Both women want universal health care, structural change, and the fight against income inequality. Every current candidate on the Democratic side is a million times better than Trump. Elizabeth Warren has promoted populist views. Not only has Warren has done this, but she has issued plans on how to pay for it. She is overtly transparent in her views. I have great respect for both women, because they tell the truth that bold, structural change is necessary in our generation. The NASA Moon project wasn't a moderate proposal. The Civil Rights Act, the New Deal, the Voting Rights Act, and Medicare were demonized back then by the far right plus moderates as going too far (and as being impossible to pass). Yet, these laws are on the books today by activism, courage, sacrifice, and men plus women who never gave up in the face of opposition. These laws represent the best in America, and it shows the truth that structural change is necessary in causing justice for all for real. That is the point.

Right now, the House exploring Pence's role in the Ukraine scandal extensively. Pence aide Jennifer Williams has testified. Also, George Kent's transcript has been released to the public. Pence denied any knowledge of the Ukraine scandal. Kent said that Giuliani is a liar. In other words, Kent said that Giuliani used a campaign of lies in trying to get Ukraine to do what he wanted Ukraine to do. Some people are still slandering the credible witness Vindman (who is a military person). The overall point is that Trump asking another country to investigate plus try to make a prosecution for political reasons is highly disrespectful and corrupt. Kent said Rudy was wrong to use a shadow foreign policy and wanted to use his influence to investigate the rivals of Trump. The Post said that Trump wanted Barr to hold a news conference to say that he (or Trump) broke no laws in call with the Ukrainian leader. Now, Trump has denied asking Barr doing this. Yet, The Washington Post stand by its report. I don't take Trump's denials seriously regardless. The House Democrats signal that their impeachment inquiry investigation could end by late December.

There is always a long legacy of athletes speaking up on social issues and being conscious. No one should shut up and dribble as Laura Ingraham has disrespectfully said. We can go down the list chronologically to prove that many athletes were very woke. Paul Robeson was a great football player from New Jersey. Not only did he speak out against imperialism. He promoted African independence, racial justice, and human liberation. He loved African culture (Robeson was in many non-stereotypical films that outlined the greatness of black people). Wilma Rudolph and Wyomia Tyus were active in the civil rights movement. Both women were some of the greatest track and field legends in history. Muhammad Ali inspired black youth back in the 1960's to love their Blackness and consider themselves great. Ali also opposed the unjust Vietnam War, promoted peace in foreign policy matters, fought poverty, and worked to assist humanity in a diversity of ways. Kareem Abdul Jabbar has worked for decades in fighting for social change in the world. Lebron James and Serena Williams has invested money to fight injustice and spoken in public in opposition to police brutality. Lebron James wore the "Can't Breathe" T-Shirt. Colin Kaepernick used a peaceful protest and came out to support social justice programs helping communities nationwide. Even Michael Jordan funded a health facility to help the sick in the state of North Carolina. Therefore, we won't shut up on important issues. We will stand up and speak up in favor of truth and justice for our community, because it is the right thing to do.
