Hard Music Magazine Exposed!
by, webmaster@psalm9416.com
Satan's Heavenly metal coming to a Christian forum near you!

Introduction
I have just finished reading the July/August issue of a blasphemous magazine called Hard Music or HM for short. The magazine professes to be Christian but I am going to prove to you that their allegiance is to Satan and his cohorts. I guarantee you that there is nothing "Christian" about this magazine or the bands that are in it. It was very hard for me to not throw a two year old style temper tantrum as I was reading this magazine. I found everything from blasphemy to ecumenicalism and believe it or not the editors even have a section that tries to justify all that you are about to read. If you are a parent I charge you to read this and talk to your children about this stuff because rock music will pull them into and down with the world and I know you don't want that.

Beyond a shadow of doubt!

I am going to show you the reader once and for all that Christian Rock is of the world. I guarantee you that when you are done reading the sections below, there will be no doubt in your heart that HM magazine, Christian rock, and those ecumenical establishments that hand out platforms for these ungodly things to stand on are yoked with Satan and are carrying out his work. You can chose to ignore the facts if you want to, but don't ever claim to be biblical.
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him" (1 John 2:15)

This is the photo of a band called Evanescence that used to have there records sold at Family (False) Christian book stores. According to lead singer Amy Lee and the rest of her band they claim to not be Christian: "We never said we weren't Christians, we just said we weren't a Christian band," says Moody. "Then, all of a sudden, we were quite, quite evil."
Moody was quoted in Entertainment Weekly saying, "We're actually high on the Christian charts, and I'm like, What the f*** are we even doing there?" -source
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." -Ephesians 5:11

In the sleeve of their Album Ben Moody thanks, “Jesus- all the life left in me is you.
Basically what we have here is an extreme case of cafeteria Christianism. They are Christians only when it is convenient for them. The fact that Hard Music magazine that is supposedly Christian even did a quick story which implies their consent for the band should send warning signals to you. If not then just look at the band member to the left displaying the Horned Hand or The Mano Cornuto sign which is allegiance to Satan. I am not saying that this band member knows that but what I am saying is that this sign is surly not of God and is always present in the most ungodly forums.

This is another band that HM magazine wants you to be familiar with. Their name is Virgin Black and you can find their lyrics at www.christianrocklyrics.com Do you think this photo is Christian? Do you think the Lord Jesus Christ is pleased with this sort of thing? I sure hope not Christians! Here's what HM magazine said about them: "It's been too long since we last heard from this doomy, gothic metal band..." Then the last comment they make is: "While still retaining an air of classical sensibility, it concludes the series with an intense dose of death and doom..." And we anxiously await... (HM magazine July/August 2006, pg 12). How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit." -Jude 1:7,18,19. What more needs to be said?

This is another "Christian Crock group" that calls themselves Far-Less. They were actually quite honest about their intent with Rock music: "Our vision for the band is to show people that rock music is fun. It's about hanging with your friends, causing trouble, and enjoying music." When asked about crazy stories guitarist Mark Karsten had this to say: "We have crazy stories, but we keep those to ourselves. That's for us to know." He then goes on to say that "The Tooth & Nail tour tour was freaking rad." (HM magazine July/August 2006, pg 13).
...and what communion hath light with darkness?" -2nd Corinthians 6:14

You can go to the website of this band and see for your self that Jesus Christ is the furthest thing from their agenda. They promote the ungodly MTV network and think it's a great thing to be featured on it: We have some very exciting news to announce. We will be featured on MTV's "You Hear it First" this Tuesday June 6th @ 8:50pm with multiple airtimes on MTV, MTV2 and mtvU as follows:-source
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24)
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." -Ephesians 5:11

Burden Of A Day in all their professing Christian characteristic's had this to say: "We really just wanna have fun and help others see that they can have fun," (HM magazine July/August 2006, pg 14).

They go on a little further to say that they want people to view Christianity in a whole new way-(HM magazine July/August 2006, pg 14).

This is a direct violation of scripture: ...ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.(Jude 1:3)
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with [him].-(2nd Corinthians 11:4)

We are told not receive another gospel, another Jesus, or another spirit but here we have a professing Christian rock band saying otherwise! They are not contending for the faith that was delivered to us one-time. They want to change that faith and give you another gospel.
These photo's are from The Divine Romance myspace account. The top picture was used on page 15 in HM magazine. In the interview on page 15 the band states that they see them selves "Hopefully releasing a new record, signed to a major label and touring Ozzfest. Haha."-((HM magazine July/August 2006, pg 15).) Are you kidding me, Ozzfest!-"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." -Ephesians 5:11
It's obvious that their goal is far from sharing the Gospel with others or anything that contends for the faith. These are true imposters! Does this photo below taken from their site represent Christ or the Devil? You can not have it both ways.

Abstain from all appearance of evil.(1st Thessalonians 5:22) Does this photo to the left look evil? It was taken from their myspace page. Is that Christ like?

This is a photo of the Christian rock band Demon Hunter that is often featured on the Steelroots network. The Steelroots network says all the time that they "carefully research all bands and make sure that they are Christian." When asked in HM magazine what the craziest thing seen from stage was they said: " On occasion I've seen people streak through the crowd butt-naked. I've seen people in costumes. In Focal Point we used to get into a lot of fights from stage. Fans would heckle us or lick the microphone when you put it out for them to sing along and we would end up jumping in the crowd (Axel Rose style) to try to fight them. Last year at Cornerstone someone had a cow skull in the pit."-Ryan Clark (Demon Hunter) (HM magazine July/August 2006, pg 16)
Abstain from all appearance of evil.(1st Thessalonians 5:22)

"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." -Ephesians 5:11

Nodes Of Ranvier had this to say about the craziest thing they have ever seen on stage: "Some dude got the 'I really need to get naked and spice things up a bit' idea. So he did, and everyone was ultimately grossed out. In most cases of the ever popular 'nude guy at the show' happenings, they usually come out running, make an appearance and then disappear. Not this fella! He was in it for the long haul. People obviously weren't into getting touched by this dude, so people were doing what it took to get out of the way...." The story goes on to say that the naked guy jumped into the crowed but everyone moved and the man fell on a bunch of folding chairs very violently. Nick Murphy from Nodes Of Ranvier goes on to say, "Til this day it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I almost puked, I laughed so hard."-Nick Murphy (Nodes Of Ranvier-(HM magazine July/August 2006, pg 16)

This is Christian hard rock artist PLUMB. Apparently she is a little confused as well: "as a Christian I am not offended by artists like NIN (Nine Inch Nails)-emphasis mine.
"I think I would get along very well with someone like Brad (Marilyn Manson)". "I'm sure he is a normal person".

Talking about her album "Chaotic resolve" she says, " It's God who puts all this together".
"My very first album was inspired by White Zombie," Plumb say's passionately, without any trace of shame. "Concrete' on my first record was inspired by that. And I really love the production styles of Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson. They are just sonically amazing. I think Trent Rezner is a genius, an incredible producer.".-source of all quotes (HM magazine July/August 2006, pg 62)

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (2nd Corinthians 6:14)
As I Just said, I think this women is confused because she say's over and over in her interview that she is a Christian but yet I find all kinds of praise from her towards these demonic Jesus Christ hating artists. I can promise you Christians reading this one thing. And that is the fact that God is not who puts this together as Plumb states but Satan himself.

The cover story is about a Christian band that does not like to be called a Christian band? Their name is Dead Poetic and they don't like the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Here is what Brandon Rike from Dead Poetic says in an interview with HM: We’ve been through different stages in our lives as far as our Christianity goes. You know, we started this band with the sole purpose to praise and worship God. That was the point. We’d do an altar call at every show because that’s what we knew. At the time, we were 15-year old kids. That’s your mentality. You think an altar call is the best thing in the world; you think that’s what’s going to work. Changing lives and saving souls for Jesus… And then you leave the day, and there’s no discipleship. You plant that seed right on freaking rock. Then we decide, “Let’s just say something about our faith.” We’re not necessarily going to do an altar call at every show, but let’s just say something. Then you just get to the point where you realize, this just doesn’t work. We don’t want to be viewed as this cheesy Christian band; we want to be viewed as a real band.

He just said he wants his band to be a real band but later in the interview he say's the following: "We’re a Christian band, if you want to put us on Life Festival or Cornerstone, that’s fine, we still want to play for those kids. But in the same breath, I want our music to be universal.
"For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God." -John 12:43
It shouldn't surprise you or me that they can't tell if they are a Christian band (what ever that means) or not because they are so ignorant of the Word of God. Just read the following segments from the interview:

The fact that I would say that to certain Christians, they would just be appalled. “But Buddhism is wrong! Jesus is the only way!” “OK, OK, I understand that, but this person thinks the same way about his religion.” I call it growing up, but it’s not really growing up because there are still grown people who haven’t gotten this point through their head. It’s kind of just being intelligent. There’s a point where you just realize, they believe that, I believe this, we need to be able to coexist, and respect needs to be given to everybody. And Jesus didn’t come to condemn people; Jesus didn’t come to freak anybody out—

We read in Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth..."
And the hellfire and brimstone—it just doesn’t work. If you want to show anyone your beliefs, you have to live by example because that’s what Jesus did and that was the best framework we have for teaching, for Christian teaching, was Jesus’ life.
"He that winneth souls is wise." -Proverb 11:30

2nd Timothy 3:5 warns us about false Christians- "having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
I think it's obvious that Brandon Rike has read another Gospel and believed on another Jesus Christ than what the true Gospel teaches us. He does not think that the Gospel in itself can save. In fact in the interview with HM magazine Rike says "Yes, now I am finally paying homage to Pearl Jam, and Nirvana, and Stone Temple Pilots and Helmet and all those bands that made me love rock and roll".

"For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God." -John 12:43
"Me personally, I don’t care if someone’s telling me to worship Satan; if the song’s cool, the song’s cool. I’m not going to get convinced to worship Satan because they’re telling me to."
Did you read that! Rike would rather have some one tell him to worship Satan than Jesus Christ!
"I'm stoked to see a dude wearing a Tool t-shirt, or a Slipknot t-shirt, or a Metallica t-shirt, because I know that they're about those bands".
"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (James 4:4)
All the Bands that Brandon Rike has given praise to hate and I mean HATE the Lord Jesus Christ. Why should a Christian give them praise? The only way is if they have believed another Jesus!

CONCLUSION

It's important to note that I did not cover every single thing that violates scripture in this magazine. I only covered a few items that really caught my intention. If you are a discerning Christian all you have to do is pick up one of these magazines or visit HM's website http://www.hmmagazine.com/ to see more of the things I have mentioned. All throughout this magazine is a common theme. That theme, is rejection of Biblical truth and contempt for the Lord Jesus Christ. Friendship with the world is enmity with God (James 4:4), that's what we have in this magazine, Christian Rock, and CCM music. I am going to look at CCM's popular magazine in the near future, do you think I will find anything different? Ya right!

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: BUT HE HIMSELF SHALL BE SAVED; yet so as by fire." 1 Corinthians 3:11-15

There is no way that you can read the information I have provided to you and claim that I am unbiblical. If you are a fan of this music as I was not to long ago you need to acknowledge the truth and make a choice. I know it is not easy but it can be done, don't let your works be wood, hay, and stubble at the judgment seat (1 Corinthians 3:11-15). There is nothing Christian about this magazine or anything in it. Christian rock blurs the line between Christians and the world, it is a grave compromise. These bands are nothing more than ruthless thugs that seek to destroy the minds of the ignorant and they even brag about it. Many of these groups in the magazine noted how they would love to see the line between the so called Christian market and secular market fall. In God's eyes there never was a line to begin with. It is all the same Crock!
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (2nd Corinthians 6:14)

As we read in 2nd Corinthians 6:14 we are not to be yoked with unbelievers but over and over again we see these professing Christian bands saying otherwise. Also we are told that righteousness has no fellowship with darkness but yet all the photos of the bands and their art display evil. If you are a Christian that see no wrong with this how do you justify your position Biblically? Just scroll back up and look at the photos again, do they appear evil? Abstain from all appearance of evil. (1st Thessalonians 5:22) Look at Demon Hunters photo above, does anything appear evil? All throughout this magazine there are skulls and blood fonts used as if it is a good thing. The Christian Hard rock scene is all about appearing and acting evil therefore they are evil. This music makes people do evil things as I have shown you. These musicians think its cool that people get naked, fight , and do all other sorts of chaotic violence to each other. Then they turn around and try and tell us how Jesus Christ lived or how God is working through their music. What hypocrisy! How foolish do they think you are? Don't let them mock the the true Christian faith that was delivered to us once and for all as we read in Jude 1:3. Do not support these people and do not allow your children to support these people.
Parents and any one not familiar with the secular hard rock artists mentioned by the false Christians in this article can look below for some basic information:

For info on Marilyn Manson and Ozzy Osborne click here (http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Basics/men_who_rejected_jesus_christ.htm)
For a little taste of Nine Inch Nails click here http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Evils%20in%20America/dc_talk_and_marilyn_manson.htm
For Tool, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots just type these into a search engine and you will see real fast that they are not something you want to pay homage to as Brandon Rike from Dead Poetic states.
