Do you believe in reparations for the present day black people in America, paid for by present day white people for what happened more than 150 years ago?
Topper, the link you show is the exactly representation of your ilk. Now, the Holocaust happened decades ago and many Jewish people recieved reparations. The Japanese people recieved reparations in the 1980's for their unjustified treatment during WWII as well. War veterans recieve the GI Bill and the Homestead Act is a government program. Also, racism and discrimination didn't end 150 years ago. It still occurs today. There are legitimate arguments for or against reparations for African Americans. At the bare minimum, people who can prove that they recieved straight corporate oppressive against themselves (in a court of law) should recieve reparations. I don't believe everyone under the sun should recieve reparations. Economic development and real radical growth of minority communities is a great solution beyond just reparations.
People like us know how to succintly respond to people like you. Also, it is not a sin to promote black unity either. I don't agree with the Vatican, but I reject austerity. I reject crony capitalism. You seem to forget that many black people in the USA today are doctors, lawyers, engineers, and making great contributions in the world. Just because Obama is wrong on some issues, doesn't mean that he's a socialist or a Marxism. His economic advisors are Austrian economic proponents. He's influence by corporate elitists.
