Using Truth to Advance Justice.

Nina Turner (who supports Bernie Sanders) and Hillary Rosen (who is a Biden surrogate) had a spirited discussion. Nina Turner told the truth that Dr. King said that the white moderate is more of a hindrance to justice than the reactionary White Citizens Council, because the white moderate wants order and the status quo instead of freedom and justice. Hillary Rosen said that Dr. King's quote was about white moderates being silent. Rosen is wrong, because Dr. King said overtly about the mentality of the white moderate as Nina has said. Later, Rosen interrupted Turner and said that Nina Turner has no right to invoke Dr. King on making her points. Nina Turner (who is a black woman) rightfully was offended by that and said to Rosen that she has no right to dictate how a black woman tries to invoke Dr. King.

Dr. King believed in reparations, economic justice, an end to militarism (he opposed the Vietnam War when the NY Times, members of the black bourgeoisie like Roy Wilkins, far right extremists, and other criticized Dr. King for his anti-war stance back in 1967. Wilkins only opposed the Vietnam War until after Dr. King's passing), and massive investments to address poverty in the billions of dollars. That proves that Dr. Martin Luther King was not a moderate. We know that Malcolm X was definitely not a moderate. Hillary Rosen said that she was sorry for saying that Nina Turner had no right to invoke Dr. King. Yet, she called Nina Turner an "angry black woman," which is very much misogynoir and plays into disgusting stereotypes. Nina Turner was never angry. She was very much in control to set the record straight. It is kind of ironic that many people are silent about this story, but it shouldn't be shocking. Nina Turner has spoken truth to power and is a courageous black woman. That is why the moderate is wrong. The moderate believes in the myth that a man's or a woman's freedom must be bounded under time and during another season. No, freedom is meant for all by birthright ASAP.

The coronavirus has expanded into more places. One ship is off California with people not allowed to go shore, because some have coronovirus. We know that the virus have spread into Maryland, New York, Illinois, Washington state, etc. A bipartisan bill worth over 8 billion dollars have been passed by the Senate to try to combat the illness. Trump's response is truly disgraceful. He said that the percentage of deaths is not as large as the media has reported because of his hunch. We know that the stock market has gone down in many days. Trump falsely claimed that the Obama administration slowed down diagnostic testing. The death rate of the virus is 3.4 percent. This illness is also called COVID-19. While Trump said that U.S. cases are going down substantially, experts predict more cases. These cases are growing. These experts want us to use common sense. If someone is sick, that person should stay home. People should wash their hands and use proper hygiene. Trump once said that a vaccine will exist in months, but Fauci said that a vaccine may be developed, tested, and deployable for public use after more than one year. Experts have documented that the coronavirus is multiple times more powerful than the flu. So, we can't get paranoid. We have to get rational information, use safety, and realize that science plus adequate infrastructure matters in combating this illness.

Elizabeth Warren has ended her campaign. Her historic campaign brought details in finding solutions to childhood maternal issues for black women, to end economic inequality, to increase housing, to handle the criminal justice system, to stop monopolies, and creating answers to other important issues relevant in our world. Her role in the progressive movement was huge, especially in the past 10 years. She has gone out of her way to condemn financial corruption and Wall Street errors. Now, we witness a new era where this race is between Biden and Sanders. Warren has nothing to feel bad about. She made her mark as being a courageous woman who spoke truth to power on many issues. Speaking about labor rights and the contributions of women make her a very important candidate. We learn from her campaign clearly that you have to show progressive words and details on how to get things done. Tulsi Gabbard is still in the race with 2 delegates. The 2018 election have shown a large number of women candidates winning, especially in the House. Women votes matter. It is certainly a new era of our time. Elizabeth Warren won't endorse anyone at this moment. Moving forward, people have to realize that the issues that Warren has promoted must be part of the solutions that we need as Americans.

Once again, Joe Scarborough has used lies and half truths on black people. He is a slick liar. He made up the lie days ago that Sanders accused African American voters for Biden as being part of the establishment. He did not. We know full well that African American voters (who voted for diverse reasons) are not part of the corporate establishment. Bernie Sanders said that Super PACs and multinational corporations funding Biden are part of the establishment. His other lie is that he said that Bernie Sanders defended the Soviet Union. Sanders never defended the authoritarianism found in the Soviet Union or in Cuba. He said that Cuba's literacy program did some good (like Barack Obama has said), but he condemned Fidel's authoritarianism. The Soviets did the right thing to defeat the Nazis during World War II. Do I think Stalin was a paragon of virtue? No. This person Scarborough said that African Americans are more conservative on issues except on race. That is a lie. Polls show that African Americans historically are not just progressive on issues of race, but on education, health care, economic issues, and on foreign policy matters. Most African Americans opposed the Iraq War. It is true that many African Americans are more conservative or moderate on social issues. That is true, but African Americans collectively are not far right Republicans. We are what we are. I think that Biden's historic Super Tuesday's victories should be acknowledged in historical terms. He deserves that credit, but to assume that Sanders is some vicious marauder who minimizes the black vote, and for Joe Scarborough to use some red baiting nonsense (while omitting the terrorism of the Contras, Batista, and other U.S.-supported dictators) is hypocritical of Joe Scarborough. Some Morning Joe pundits said that Joe Biden has no money. Biden is a millionaire. Just because once Biden lacked large donations doesn't mean that he has no political power. Now, I will say that Bernie Sanders have to stop taking the bait. Certain people in the media never will respect him. Eddie Glaude Jr. is the Brother with the sense in the panel. Eddie Glaude Jr. is certainly a great scholar. He or Sanders must use facts, stats, numbers, historic evidence, and more nuisance to refute the moderates' deceptive rhetoric. Sanders being so much of a gentleman is allowing these liars to smear his reputation. Sanders has to figure out why he lost those states, and he must use more intersectionality in his arguments with details relevant to diverse communities (like Warren has done. I will give Elizabeth Warren great credit in using those details). I predict that if Sanders doesn't do this, then he will have trouble winning the primary. We should not be surprised. The corporate media is dominated by corporate interests that desire the centrist status quo. We want revolutionary change and results.
