Donald and Melanie Trump have the coronavirus plus other issues.

2020 is certainly a year to remember. People may disagree, but this is year is very similar to 1968. There are worldwide record protests of people among many backgrounds defending black human lives, a global pandemic, record wildfires in the West Coast, and political tension never seen since the 1960's. Now, Donald Trump and Melanie Trump have tested positive for the coronavirus. He is the first President to have the virus, and now they are quarantining at the White House. This is concerning for the whole nation. I make no bones about my disagreements with Trump on many political issues. I do believe that Trump is a far right extremist, a racist, and a sexist. Many people have lost their jobs, their homes, and their food as a product of this pandemic. Trump has downplayed this situation, mocked people who wear masks, and he called the pandemic a hoax months ago. We do wish for Trump and his wife Melanie a total recovery. We are a progressive people, but we aren't cruel people. We believe in human empathy while standing up against bigotry and injustice. Hope Hicks have it too, and she has been in contact with many White House advisors. Now, we have 32 days left to the election. We have reactionary groups like Proud Boys who have done violence and promoted mayhem in society. Voter intimidation tactics have existed in Philadelphia and Northern Virginia. Voting is a human right, and no voter should be intimidated at all. Voter suppression is real not only in Georgia, but in Texas. Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott made a proclamation to limit the number of drop off locations for mail in ballots to one site per county. That is a disgrace as rural counties for a few areas have the same number of drop off locations as Harris County (which has the city of Houston and almost 5 million people in them). Harris County has a large African American, Hispanic, and Asian American population. They will be forced to cut most of its previous drop off locations. The truth matters. The truth is that far right GOP members are trying their best to suppress the vote in order to allow their guy to be President. The richest 400 individuals in the United States now control $3.2 trillion and the richest one percent have more wealth than the poorest 40 percent. Massive economic inequality can't sustain democracy. There has to be a radical redistribution of economic and political power.

Yesterday was the Birthday of Sister Yvette Freeman. She is 63 years old, and she was born in Wilmington, Delaware. People know her as playing Haleh Adams in the NBC medical drama series of ER. Also, she is a singer and director. She moved into NYC to make a career in graphic design. She was involved in acting like in the Wiz and Ain't Misbehavin'. She sang as various clubs too. She later was in 1990 to be on shows like L.A. Law and Knots Landing. She was in ER form 1994 to 2009. She was in every season since 1994. Her debut album was A Tribute to Dinah Washington in 1999 after preforming the Off Broadway production of Dinah Was. Dinah Washington was one of the greatest R&B singers of all time. She won many awards like the 1998 Obie Award for Distinguished Performance by an Actress. She loves her husband, and she continued to be involved in acting in roles found in CSI, Days of Our Lives, etc. I wish Sister Yvette Freeman more blessings.

It is obvious that Trump stands for bigotry and hatred. Recently, he demonized Rep. Ilhan Omar, and said that Biden wants to flood Minnesota with refugees. With Trump's racist, xenophobic comments, we realize that refugees enhance the fabric of American strength. Trump made a comment that Omar has no right to run "our country" when Ihan Omar is an American citizen who lives Minnesota. Minnesota is a state where people will treat their neighbor as themselves. Trump is a notorious racist. The FBI Director Christopher Wray (who testified under oath) said that white supremacists are the number domestic threat in America. That is true as the Proud Boys, the Bugaloo Boys, and other racist groups are all in favor of Trump. Trump has refused to condemn these neo-fascist organizations. Many of the Oath Keepers have recruited thousands of police officers, military people, and far right people to brace on what they call "civil war." Trump has publicly supported the killer Kyle Rittenhouse when he beat a woman before. Internal DHS Docs show that Trump officials were told to make comments to support Kyle Rittenhouse. This is wrong, because it shows biased and the agenda of the White House to downplay police brutality. People have every right to vote as tons of mail in bailouts are being mailed to Americans nationwide.

Some people are hating 2000s R&B music. In response to this, people must of forgotten that 2000s had tons of great R&B music from people like; Avant, Keke Wyatt, Corrine Bailey Rae, Aaliyah, Usher, Amerie, Jagged Edge, Fantasia, Maxwell, Anthony Hamilton, Sade, Jill Scott, Jennifer Hudson, Cherri Dennis, Musiq Soulchild, Sunshine Anderson, Erykah Badu, Ashanti, Mya, Tweet, Angie Stone, Jennifer Hudson, Floetry, and other musicians. Some folks must have forgot. People wonder about great R&B singers of the 2010's and the 2020's. If you look, you can find the talent. In every generation, you will always find artists with outstanding talent. I'm not found too much of the mumble rap deal because I'm form a different generation, but there are many R&B artists who have exceptional music gifts in our time. Here are some of their names in the 2010's and the 2020's: Bryson Tiller, Usher, SZA, Chloe x Halle, Solange, H.E.R, Lianne La Havas, Ella Mai, Ari Lennox, Brandy, Alicia Keys, Victoria Monet, Beyonce, Toni Braxton, Rihanna, Kem, Melanie Fiona, RaVaughn, Tamar Braxton, K Michelle, Nicole Wray, and other musicians.

No one should be shocked. On puzzling thing is that after the years of witnessing the evil of this male, how can anyone be undecided at this point. He has shown who he is. Trump has coddled white supremacist and violent hate groups like the Proud Boys. He has refused to admit that systematic racism is real. He has refused to exposed how predatory capitalism has harmed the lives of millions of people in America and the billions of the human race in the world in general. He is in denial of the horrendous consequences of doing nothing about climate change. This isn't about one male too. We know how far right extremists and neoliberal compromises are wrong on many issues. Trump is not innocent in his corruption. He made a conscious decision to ruin the social safety net, make a disgraceful response to the coronavirus, and to minimize the serious problem of police brutality. FOX News is just as complicit as promoting the reactionary views of Trump too. Trump is clear that he wants a woman (the same ones who hide behind their faith to justify Barrett are the same ones who want discrimination on the basis of faith with their support of the Muslim ban) on the Supreme Court who will decide to strip away our rights, while Biden wants a black woman on the Supreme Court who will promote human rights. Trump is clear that children being in cages is part of his policy, while Biden rejects that goal. Trump has supported the Confederate flag, and Biden doesn't. Trump coddles racists, because racists are a key part of his constituency. The reality of many billionaires stealing the wealth of the working class for their own benefit has been documented by studies, books, and other information. That is why voting is important. Building in our communities is important, and defending democracy will always be a key part of living life.
