Dear Friend of Radio Liberty,
"Anti-Semitism is again on the rise. Why now? Blame the backlash against globalization. As public anxiety grows over lost jobs, shaky economies, and political and social upheaval, the Brownshirt and Birkenstock crowds are seeking solace in conspiracy theories. And in their search for the hidden hand that guides the new world order, modern anxieties are merging with old hatreds and the myths on which they rest."Mark Strauss, Foreign Policy magazine, November-December 2003. [1]
"It is now a matter of public record that immediately after the terrible tragedy of Sept- ember 11, 2001, U.S. Secretary of War Donald Rumsfeld and his pro-Israeli 'Neo- conservative' Deputy Paul Wolfowitz began to plot, plan, scheme and conspire to wage a war of aggression against Iraq by manipulating the tragic events of September 11th in order to provide a pretext for doing so. Of course Iraq had nothing at all to do with September 11th or supporting Al-Qaeda. But that made no difference to Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and the numerous other pro-Israeli Neo-cons in the Bush Jr. administration." Professor Francis A. Boyle, August 2003. [2]
"In the 20th century, fascism came and went. Communism came and went. Socialism came and waned. But today several virulent 'isms' inhabit the world still. Among the most pernicious are an atavistic anti-Semitism and its 20th-century version, anti- Zionism. These 'isms' are graffiti on the wall of history . . . evidenced most recently, by the remarks of Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who said, 'Today the Jews rule this world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them.' . . . Such comments obscure a deeper truth about this new strain of anti-Semitism, which is not that it is directed at individual Jews or even at Judaism itself. It is directed, rather, against the Jewish collective, the modern State of Israel." U.S. News and World Report, November 3, 2003 [3]
"The commander of a German special forces army unit was dismissed Tuesday after he praised a conservative member of Parliament for a speech that has been widely criticized here as anti-Semitic. . . . Mr. Hohmann called Jews 'a race of perpetrators.' The Jews, he said, were prominent in the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, during which millions were killed. . . . On Monday night, German television reported that General Gunzel had written a letter to Mr. Hohmann in which he expressed agreement with his opinions. . . . 'It was an excellent speech of a courage, truth and clarity that one seldom hears or reads in our country,' General Gunzel's letter said. 'And even if all those who agree with me or even clearly articulate this opinion will be referred to as right-wing extremists by the media, I can assure you that the majority of our people share your thoughts.'" The New York Times, November 5, 2003 [4]
"When Lt. Gen. William 'Jerry' Boykin pulled up slides of Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein and told a religious audience that America's real enemy was 'a guy called Satan,' the general was no doubt expressing the views of tens of millions of Americans. When he declared that 'they're after us because we are a Christian nation,' millions who later heard his words probably nodded their heads."The Washington Post Weekly, November 3-9, 2003 [5]
"General Boykin said the terrorists come from 'the principalities of darkness,' that they are 'demonic,' and they hate us because 'We're a Christian nation, because our foundation and our roots are Judeo-Christian, and the enemy is a guy named Satan.'"Tony Blankley, October 22, 2003 [6]
Numerous articles claim there is a rising tide of anti-Semitism in the United States and throughout the world. Who published the articles? Where did they originate? Mark Strauss discussed the problem in the November-December edition of Foreign Policy magazine:
"Anti-Semitism is again on the rise. Why now? Blame the backlash against globalization. As public anxiety grows over lost jobs, shaky economies, and political and social upheaval, the Brownshirt and Birkenstock crowds are seeking solace in conspiracy theories. And in their search for the hidden hand that guides the new world order, modern anxieties are merging with old hatreds and the myths on which they rest." [7]
Is everyone who is concerned about globalization, lost jobs, and social upheaval really anti-Semitic? Why did the author equate the legitimate concerns of many Americans with "anti-Semitism?" Because Foreign Affairs magazine is published by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, which is an integral part of "the hidden hand that guides the new world order." [8] Andrew Carnegie and Cecil John Rhodes were friends: both men dedicated their lives to the establishment of a world government. Andrew Carnegie funded the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace; Cecil Rhodes funded the secret society that created the Council on Foreign Relations. [9] Why are both organizations focusing attention on the threat of "anti-Semitism?"
My March 2003 letter discussed the Project For the New American Century (PNAC), and their control of U.S. foreign policy. What is their objective? PNAC published a Statement of Principles on the Internet in June 1997. The text is available at www.newamericancentury.org. It states:
"We need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles. Such a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity may not be fashionable today. But it is necessary if the United States is to build on the successes of this past century and to ensure our security and our greatness in the next." [10]
How do they intend to create "an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity and our principles?" Ted Koppel addressed that question when he interviewed William Kristol, the chairman of PNAC, on March 5, 2003. The Nightline program opened with the following statements:
"A secret blueprint for U.S. global domination reveals that President Bush and his cabinet were planning a premeditated attack on Iraq to secure regime change even before he took power in January 2001.
It has been called a secret blueprint for U.S. global domination. . . . A small group of people with a plan to remove Saddam Hussein long before George W. Bush was elected president. . . . And 9/11 provided the opportunity to set it in motion.
Not since Mein Kampf has a geopolitical punch been so blatantly telegraphed years ahead of the blow." [11]
Some people believe PNAC is a "Zionist front organization" because William Kristol is Jewish, over a third of the founding members of PNAC are Jews, and Richard Perle is associated with the organization. The names of the twenty-five founders are listed below:
Elliott Abrams, Gary Bauer, William J. Bennett, Jeb Bush, Dick Cheney, Eliot A. Cohen, Midge Decter, Paula Dobriansky, Steve Forbes, Aaron Friedberg, Francis Fukuyama, Frank Gaffney, Fred C. Ikle, Donald Kagan, Zalmay Khalilzad, I. Lewis Libby, Norman Podhoretz, Dan Quayle, Peter W. Rodman, Stephen P. Rosen, Henry S. Rowen, Donald Rumsfeld, Vin Weber, George Weigel, and Paul Wolfowitz. [12]
William Kristol told Ted Koppel his group plans to replace the regimes in Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. A transcript of the Nightline interview can be obtained from ABC. [13]
Shortly thereafter several supporters sent me articles about Professor Leo Strauss who taught political philosophy at the University of Chicago. He is the icon of the modern-day neo-conservative movement. Professor Strauss taught his students that political leaders must lie, and use war to control their subjects. Since Paul Wolfowitz earned his doctorate degree under Professor Strauss, and promoted the U.S. invasion of Iraq, many people believe Professor Strauss is the real architect of current U.S. foreign policy. [14]
Professor Francis A. Boyle studied under Leo Strauss at the University of Chicago. He writes:
"It is now a matter of public record that immediately after the terrible tragedy of September 11, 2001, U.S. Secretary of War Donald Rumsfeld and his pro-Israeli 'Neoconservative' Deputy Paul Wolfowitz began to plot, plan, scheme and conspire to wage a war of aggression against Iraq by manipulating the tragic events of September 11th in order to provide a pretext for doing so. Of course Iraq had nothing at all to do with September 11th or supporting Al-Qaeda. But, that made no difference to Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and the numerous other pro-Israeli Neo-cons in the Bush Jr. administration.
These pro-Israeli Neo-cons had been schooled in the Machiavellian/Nietzschean theories of Professor Leo Strauss, who taught political philosophy at the University of Chicago in their Department of Political Science . . . .
Chicago routinely trained me and numerous other students to become ruthless and un- principled Machiavellians. That is precisely why so many neophyte Neo-con students gravitated towards the University of Chicago. . . . The University of Chicago became the "brains" behind the Bush Jr. Empire and his Ashcroft Police State. . . .
It was the Chicago Straussian cabal of pro-Israeli Neo-cons who set up a separate 'intelligence' unit within the Pentagon that was responsible for manufacturing many of the bald-faced lies, deceptions, half-truths, and outright propaganda that the Bush Jr. administration then disseminated to the lap-dog U.S. news media in order to generate public support for a war of aggression against Iraq for the benefit of Israel and in order to steal Iraq's oil." [15]
You can access a Web site that discusses Professor Strauss's influence on modern thought at: www.straussian.org.
Some of the articles I received claim the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) is a neoconservative "think tank,"; other articles claim many Neo-cons are Trotskyites. Is that true? [16]
My October letter summarized Congressman Ron Paul's excellent article, Neo-conned: A Call To Arms. Although I agree with his analysis of the problem, I wrote:
"On March 5, 2003, ABC aired Ted Koppel's interview with William Kristol, chairman of Project for the New American Century (PNAC), and leader of the neoconservative movement. During that interview, William Kristol discussed their program for world domination. Shortly after that several CFR-controlled media outlets published articles about PNAC and the 'neocons.' Why did the CFR expose their 'front organization?' Why did Project for the New American Century reveal their imperialist plan on their Web site? Those questions haunted me until I read a recent article in Commentary magazine, and realized the conservative movement has been "conned,"; we're fighting the wrong enemy." [17]
Have we been conned? Who is the real enemy? Mortimer B. Zuckerman, Editor of U.S. News and World Report magazine, discussed the growing threat of anti-Semitism in the November 3, 2003, issue of his magazine. Mortimer Zuckerman is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations:
"In the 20th century, fascism came and went. Communism came and went. Socialism came and waned. But today several virulent 'isms' inhabit the world still. Among the most pernicious are an atavistic anti-Semitism and its 20th century version, anti-Zionism. These 'isms' are graffiti on the wall of history . . . evidenced, most recently, by remarks of Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who said, 'Today the Jews rule this world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them'. . . . Such comments obscure a deeper truth about this new strain of anti-Semitism, which is not that it is directed at individual Jews or even at Judaism itself. It is directed, rather, against the Jewish collective, the modern State of Israel." [18]
The November 5, 2003, edition of The New York Times reported:
"The commander of a German special forces army unit was dismissed Tuesday after he praised a conservative member of parliament for a speech that has been widely criticized here as anti-Semitic. In his speech. . . . Mr. Hohmann called Jews 'a race of perpetrators.' The Jews, he said, were prominent in the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, during which millions were killed. . . . On Monday night, German television reported that General Gunzel had written a letter to Mr. Hohmann in which he expressed agreement with his opinions. . . . 'It was an excellent speech, of a courage, truth and clarity that one seldom hears or reads in our country,' General Gunzel's letter said. 'And even if all those who agree with me or even clearly articulate this opinion will be referred to as right-wing extremists by the media, I can assure you that the majority of our people share your thoughts.'" [19]
Is there really a resurgence of anti-Semitism, or are we being "conned?" Norman Podhoretz is Editor of Commentary magazine. He is Jewish, a founding member of PNAC, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. The September 2003 edition of his magazine carried an article titled, The Neoconservative Cabal. The author claims only three of the 56 scholars and fellows at the American Enterprise Institute are Straussians, and none of them work in the field of foreign policy. The article also claims the only neoconservative leader who was a Trotskyite was Irving Kristol:
". . . this brings us back at last to the question of the neocons' alleged current influence. How did their ideas gain such currency? Did they 'hijack' Bush's foreign policy, right out from under his nose and the noses of Richard Cheney, Colin Powell, Donald Rumsfeld, and Condoleezza Rice - all members of the same team that, to hear the standard liberal version, was itself so diabolically clever that in the 2000 election it had stolen the presidency itself?" [20]
Although many Neoconservatives are Jewish, the majority are not. Only about a third of the twenty-five founding members of PNAC were Jewish, but seventeen of the twenty-five founders were members of the Council on Foreign Relations. [21] Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, and Colin Powell belong to the CFR; Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld were founding members of PNAC. [22] PNAC isn't a Zionist front organization, it's a CFR front organization. Almost everything Congressman Ron Paul wrote about Professor Leo Strauss, his Machiavellian policy, and the neocons is true, but the Eastern Establishment created the neoconservative movement, then circulated false information about it so they could discredit people who are concerned about globalization, and our disastrous foreign policy. Those who suggest PNAC, and the Neo-cons, are responsible for what is happening, will be labeled "anti-Semitic" or "anti-Zionist."
Why did the U.S. invade Iraq? To obtain a staging area for attacking Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. Why does the Bush administration want to replace those Islamic governments? Because they won't relinquish their sovereignty to the United Nations. Who is behind the effort to create a world government? The November 3 - 9 Weekly Edition of The Washington Post reported:
"When Lt. Gen. William 'Jerry' Boykin pulled up slides of Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein and told a religious audience that American's real enemy was 'a guy called Satan,' the general was no doubt expressing the views of tens of millions of Americans.
When he declared that 'they're after us because we are a Christian nation,' millions who later heard his words probably nodded their heads." [23]
Tony Blankley published a similar article on the Internet on October 22, 2003, which states:
"General Boykin said the terrorists come from 'the principalities of darkness,' that they are 'demonic,' and they hate us because 'We're a Christian nation, because our foundation and our roots are Judeo-Christian, and the enemy is a guy named Satan.'" [24]
General Boykin is correct. The United States was founded by Christians; our foreign and domestic policies were based on Christian precepts until a group of evil men seized control, and began using our military and financial power to promote world government. Osama bin Laden follows a Satanic religion, but so do many of the men and women who lead our country today. We must expose them, pray that God will intervene, and hope He will be merciful when he returns.
This letter opened with the statement, "Numerous articles claim there is a rising tide of anti-Semitism in the United States, and throughout the world." Another tide is forming, and we must exploit it. Federal legislation has been introduced to reinstate the Draft; tell parents their sons and daughters will be sent overseas to fight and die in foreign wars. Talk to your friends about the Globalists' plan to transfer our wealth to foreign nations. Purchase an audio-tape on "globalization," and learn how to explain what is happening. The U.S. dollar has fallen 30%; responsible analysts believe our currency will fall another 30-40% and impoverish the American people. When people realize what is happening, they will rally to our cause.
Encourage people to listen to Radio Liberty, and remember William Shakespeare's words:
"There is a tide in the affairs of menWhich, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;Omitted, all the voyage of their lifeIs bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat; And we must take the current when it serves, Or lose our ventures. Julius Caesar, Act IV, Scene III [25]We must ride the rising tide of concern about the draft, globalization, and the economy. We must counter the CFR's effort to stifle dissent by educating others. And, above all, we must trust in the Lord.
Thank you for your faithful support, and your prayers.
Yours in Christ,
Stanley Monteith
