The Husain-McMahon Agreement of 1915

This Husain McMahon Agreement was about the British promising the Arabic people (through Sherif Hussein of Mecca in 1915) if the the Ottoman Empire was destroyed after WWI, they will recieve their lands. The British wanted the Arab help to fight against the Turks. This is something new that I've didn't learn before. Here's both sides of this issue (since it's needed to get the big picture):
