    RE: A World Gone Mad

Thanks for your article, A World Gone Mad, I agree, but not entirely. In my view your discernment brush was a little broad.

For example: I don't think Jesus stormed into the Pharisee's Temple, and in soft little polite voice said: 'Please would you be so kind as to leave this House of God'; where his body language contradicted his words and tone of voice.

Nor do I think he stormed into the Pharisee's Temple; and applied Politically Correct Political Pulpit Flatulence, by loudly screaming 'I denounce what you are doing in the name of God; where his body language and tone of voice, contradicted his words'.

I suspect he stormed in to the Temple, and was rather angry; and that he was not emotionally, or psychologically alienated from his being, in terms of his communication skills. I suspect that he was not one of those whose body language contradicted his tone of voice, and his words. I suspect if he was angry, his body language and tone of voice would match his words; and he may even have used words that in those days and times were considered 'crimen injuria' to convey to the Pharisees his 100% integrated COMMUNICATION OF HIS DISGUST AND SCORN AT THEIR BEHAVIOUR.

Anyway, those were my thoughts on your article; it is incredibly easy to use broad brushes, and tar and feather anyone who remotely fits that broad brush, therewith. I do not consider such broad brushing the application of 'discernment', in terms of attentively being silent and listening, not just to someone's words, but to their tone of voice, to their body language; and hearing their WHOLE HOLISTIC MESSAGE. And where such a message is not holistic, where either body language or tone of voice, or words are not in-sync; it appears plausible, such is the result of one or many combined factors, such as ignorance of holistic sincere intentional communication, the indivdiual's views may only be intellectually held, not experientially; or any number of others factors.

Anyway, those were my feedback thoughts to your article; should you be interested.

    Respectfully,

    Lara Johnstone

Oh Tim, you are so funny! ;-) No, you are correct, he didn't imply that at all; and neither are you a cowardly pushover at all: to the contrary; I been trying for seven years to get you to bend just a little bit, never mind even think of pushing you over, and I ain't gotten anywhere!

But I aint giving up -- unless you want me to!
