Yes, according to the ex-Mormon (I forget his name---A. Truet Ott!) he
stated on a broadcast that it is a matter of Mormon history that Freemason
Brigham Young, Freemason Albert Pike and De Smet were all personal friends.
And of course, De Smet was the boss---the most powerful Jesuit west of the
Mississippi.

Pike also used the Sioux to murder 800 Protestant Lutherans in Minnesota
during the War Between the States. Pike was later courtmartialed and
pardoned by Freemason President Andrew Johnson.
