The truth on Dr. Martin Luther King.

Watchman: Now, before anybody starts heaping ignorant scorn upon my hoary head, allow me to post a lengthy quote from a man whose name and titles were lies, who was a notorious womanizer, according to his closest ally and friend in the movement, and had intimate ties with the Communist Party in America, and who according to his own biographer, David J. Garrow, decribed himself as a Marxist. As to his name, it was Michael King. While he was indeed ordained, he denied the inerrancy of Scripture, aside from his life of fornication and adultery. While he indeed received a Doctorate, he plagiarized much of his doctoral thesis from a man named Jack Boozer in HIS doctroal thesis, but was never held to account for it (according to the Wall Street Journal). Check these links for corroboration of the above facts:

Facts concerning King's Plagiarism

All these things are bad enough, but the coup de grace is Mike King's alliance with Planned Parenthood and Margaret Sanger, while she was in the midst of the Negro Project to wipe out the "mud races"!

Margaret Sanger wrote:

“The Masses of Negroes... particularly from the south, still breed carelessly
and disastrously, with the result that the increase among Negroes, even more
than among whites is from that portion of the population least intelligent and
fit.” “The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through
Religious appeal. We do not want word to get out that we want to exterminate the
Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out the idea if
it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”- Margaret Sanger- The
Negro Project

While it may be tempting to think that Mike King was just "duped" as one of Sanger's "useful Negro preachers", his own glowing words about Sanger and Planned Parenthood would tend to belie that wishful thought. King was a recipient of the Margaret Sanger Award by PP, it's very first year, and they have posted The speech in its entirety. Here is an excerpt that should dispel any doubt that King was a rabid proabort, besides all his other fine, Christian qualities.
Michael King in 1966 wrote:

There is a striking kinship between our movement and Margaret Sanger's early
efforts. She, like we, saw the horrifying conditions of ghetto life. Like we,
she knew that all of society is poisoned by cancerous slums. Like we, she was a
direct actionist — a nonviolent resister. She was willing to accept scorn and
abuse until the truth she saw was revealed to the millions. At the turn of the
century she went into the slums and set up a birth control clinic, and for this
deed she went to jail because she was violating an unjust law.

Yet the years have justified her actions. She launched a movement which is obeying a higher law to preserve human life under humane conditions. Margaret Sanger had to
commit what was then called a crime in order to enrich humanity, and today we
honor her courage and vision; for without them there would have been no
beginning. Our sure beginning in the struggle for equality by nonviolent direct
action may not have been so resolute without the tradition established by
Margaret Sanger and people like her.

Negroes have no mere academic nor ordinary
interest in family planning. They have a special and urgent concern. . . . The
Negro constitutes half the poor of the nation. Like all poor, Negro and white,
they have many unwanted children. This is a cruel evil they urgently need to
control. There is scarcely anything more tragic in human life than a child who
is not wanted. That which should be a blessing becomes a curse for parent and
child.

Any questions?

My Response:

Years ago, we all thought that King was a hero. It was until I've learned about his plagarism, adulteries, and other negative behavior that he had. As we know, he recieved a Margaret Sanger award in 1966. http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Wolves/mlk_jr-exposed.htm

is another link talking about him. It's a shame that he concerned himself primarily with a social gospel. It's legitimate to grant citizens of all colors the same rights protected under the Bill Of Rights. It's quite another to not discuss too much about the Gospel of Jesus Christ to save people. His college works have him denying the resurrection of Jesus, his Diety, and other concepts of Christianity. MLK talked about Jesus, but didn't adequately use his message to try to massively save people of all colors from their sins. If he'd done that along in a legitimate campaign, his impact might of been more effective to reach across people. It's time to focus on other black Patriots and Christians that made contributions to this nation.

Watchman: Welcome to the Board, Timothy. Yes, Michael King received the Mragaret Sanger Award in 1966. In fact in that year, Ted Kennedy was still more pro-life than King. Here is Ted Kennedy's speech from 1971:

"While the deep concern of a woman bearing an unwanted child merits
consideration and sympathy, it is my personal feeling that the legalization of
abortion on demand is not in accordance with the value which our civilization
places on human life. Wanted or unwanted, I believe that human life, even at its
earliest stages, has certain rights which must be recognized – the right to be
born, the right to love, the right to grow old. "

On the question of the individual's freedom of choice there are easily
available birth-control methods and information which women may employ to
prevent or postpone pregnancy. But once life has begun, no matter at what stage
of growth, it is my belief that termination should not be decided merely by
desire. ...

"When history looks back to this era it should recognize this generation as
one which cared about human beings enough to halt the practice of war, to
provide a decent living for every family, and to fulfill its responsibility to
its children from the very moment of conception."

And now, here is Michael King's speech accepting the Margaret Sanger Award from Planned Parenthood:

There is a striking kinship between our movement and Margaret Sanger's early
efforts. She, like we, saw the horrifying conditions of ghetto life. Like we,
she knew that all of society is poisoned by cancerous slums. Like we, she was a
direct actionist — a nonviolent resister. She was willing to accept scorn and
abuse until the truth she saw was revealed to the millions. At the turn of the
century she went into the slums and set up a birth control clinic, and for this
deed she went to jail because she was violating an unjust law. Yet the years
have justified her actions. She launched a movement which is obeying a higher
law to preserve human life under humane conditions.

That which should be a blessing becomes a curse for parent and
child.

Notice King's appeal to "higher law", which in his mind states that we should NOT allow God to decide how many children we should have, but rather, take aggressive steps on our own to prevent pregnancy and kill the unwanted unborn. In King's NewSpeak we "enrich humanity" by killing human beings. Contrast that which Ted Kennedy's speech from 1971, where he once actually understood the truth,

Wanted or unwanted, I believe that human life, even at its earliest stages, has
certain rights which must be recognized – the right to be born, the right to
love, the right to grow old.
