UN Honors Racist Dictator Who Boils People Alive With "Cultural Diversity" Award

UNESCO gives Karimov "diversity" award - despite the fact he tortures innocent Muslims to death for fun and political kickbacks from Bush and Blair, who use phony confessions for war on terror propaganda

Progressives and liberals who view the United Nations as a kinder, gentler alternative to domination of the geopolitical spectrum by Neo-Cons, should pay attention to this one - a top UN agency has bestowed a cultural diversity award upon Islam Karimov, the Uzbek dictator who likes to boil people alive.

MosNews reports,

"UNESCO Director-General Koichiro Matsuura personally gave Karimov the award in Tashkent on September 8 for the Uzbek president’s contribution to “strengthening friendship and cooperation between the nations, development of cultural and religious dialogue, and supporting cultural diversity.” Rights organizations have long branded Karimov a gross violator of human rights. They say that any international award to the Uzbek leader is inappropriate and that the UNESCO decision was not only wrong but runs contrary to stated UN policies."
Karimov runs Uzbekistan with an iron fist and no matter how many massacres and crimes against humanity he perpetrates against his own people, funding from the west continues to pour in because the dictator plays ball in upholding the farcical myth of the war on terror.

Karimov, Bush and Blair have set-up a nice little back scratching society and it works like this - Karimov has his brownshirts snatch innocent Muslims off the streets, tortures them until they "confess" to being Al-Qaeda members, and then in return for financial kickbacks, hands the phony confessions to the CIA and British intelligence, who use them as propaganda to argue the threat of the Al-Qaeda menace. In addition, the manufacturing of an artificial 'Al-Qaeda threat' enables Karimov to propagandize his own population into supporting his savagery through fear.
Britain's former ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray, blew the whistle on the fact that despite his repeated warnings to the British government that information coming out of the country was obtained from torture, it was used and continues to be used by MI6 and the CIA. The British Foreign Office then tried to censor documents contained in Murray's book that proved Blair and his cabinet had willingly turned a blind eye and by proxy gave their blessing for Karimov's torture program to continue.

The UN crafts hate speech laws in the name of fighting racism that stifle freedom of speech and then hands out awards to racist dictators who boil innocent Muslims alive.
The fact that Karimov likes to boil Muslims alive (pictured above) does not seem to concern Bush and Blair - nor UNESCO - who have the audacity to commend him for "cultural diversity" even as he targets one race of people and subjects them to untold misery and brutality.
The Bush administration rewarded Karimov in 2002 by sending him 500 million dollars of American taxpayers' money in aid, including 79 million to the SNB, Uzbekistan's feared security service, the very pack of thugs that dole out the torture, disappearances and murder.
Karimov, Rumsfeld and assorted Neo-Cons have a hearty chuckle about it all.
UNESCO and its sordid history exemplify the taste for genocide and total abolition of national sovereignty that is shared by global elite organizations pushing for integrated political systems and one world government.

Karimov and UNESCO make perfect bedfellows.
One of UNESCO's strategy documents, Toward World Understanding, published in 1949, exclaims the need to mould children into becoming drones for a "world society" model and that "the family must be viewed as the enemy."
Such educational doctrines have filtered down into the U.S. school system where the stated agenda is to "dumb down" pupils and re-assign their loyalty from their own family to the state.
UNESCO, via the UN Population Fund, has consistently supported and funded China's brutal forced abortion policy, where in some cases mothers who become pregnant with their second child are hunted down by the authorities, abducted off the street and taken to government controlled hospitals where they are drugged and their baby is killed.

Don't be fooled into thinking that the empty anti-UN rhetoric normally spewed by the Bush administration extends to anything substantive. Reagan withdrew the U.S. from UNESCO in 1984, saying the organization, “politicized virtually every subject it deals with, has exhibited hostility toward the basic institutions of a free society, especially a free market and a free press, and has demonstrated unrestrained budgetary expansion.”
Bush signed America back onto UNESCO in September 2002. In January 2004, he allocated over 100 million dollars to the same two UN agencies who fund forced abortion programs in China - UNESCO and UNFPA.

The ties that bind Bush, Blair, Karimov and UNESCO underscore the fact that the push for global empire and the war on terror are both characterized by barbarity, inhumanity and torture and are propped up by an odorous tissue of lies.
