In interviews, you will hear take the wrong side of this issue Paul Helmke, President of the absurdly-titled “Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Violence;” firing back (if you’ll pardon the expression) and defending the right side of this issue, is Scott Lewis, Media Coordinator for “Students For Concealed Carry On Campus.” Re: so-called “gun violence,” Mr. Helmke is, gently, reminded of Newton’s First Law of Motion which is that inanimate objects remain at rest until acted upon by an outside force. Thus, guns, hunks of metal, do nothing on their own. They are, on their own, neither “violent” nor “non-violent.”
You’ll hear some more bone-chilling sound bites from warmonger John McCainiac who, among other things, wants us to get in the middle of the fight, among Muslims, for “the soul of Islam.” Great idea, huh? And you’ll hear President Bush talking about his blatantly unconstitutional programs that are spending at least $15 BILLION in Africa to fight AIDS.
