From http://hawthornesjourneys.blogspot.com/2006/03/credibility-and-accountability.html
When I saw this article, I knew I had to talk about this issue. This is wild. First, many people who supported Peak Oil support depopulation like William Stanton. He wrote that "...Survival in a Darwinian resource-poor world depends on the ruthless elimination of rivals, not the acquisition of moral kudos by cherishing them when they are weak..." Mike Ruppert himself even supported depopulation among nations if necessary. He has since retracted that. He also accepts the overpopulation myth when all humans can fit in the state of Texas given 1,000 sq. miles each. Also, Russia and Japan are losing their populations rapidly. Oil Empire.us supports the overpopulation lie. Never forget that eugenicists and globalists like Prince Phillip, Ted Turner, and others want depopulation.
There is no question that the September 11th attacks was an inside job. The offical story have been refuted on many levels. Ruppert's book does make a great case for the wargames, etc. but its hundreds of pages never elaborately deal with the collapses of the Twin Towers and Building Seven (which never had a plane hit it). As for the wargames, it's all true, but Cheney can easily say that the terrorists were still involved in 9/11 and the wargames made us incomptent to not stop them. The truth is that 9/11 is bigger than wargames, but it involved the Bush/Saudi connection, civil liberties, the USA government funding the Taliban and Al-Qaeda (even inside of the region of Southeastern Europe) , PNAC document calling for a "New Pearl Harbor event" as a catalyst for invading nations and forming "democracies," and tons of other things. I don't agree on everything involving Alex Jones, but the Bilderberg Group, the Club of Rome, CFR, and other organization do support Peak Oil. It's an elite sponosored agenda. Not to mention that much of Big Oil supports Peak Oil according to Stan Monolieth. New discoveries of oil have occured recently.
http://peakoildebunked.blogspot.com/ is a blog on the other view. Dave McGowan have written many elaborate exposes about Michael Ruppert. The truth is that corruption is in government and that must be exposed. Governments have used inside jobs and terrorist attacks for thousands of years to promote their agenda like in Nero's fire, etc. Jones does present a lot of accurate information about biometrics, FEMA's terrible response dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and other information. Oil Empire.us refuses to talk about the evils in the United Nations, the evils of partial birth abortion (the AMA said that this type of abortion isn't necessary at all and in it a baby's brains is sucked out. Hillary Clinton [the war hawk] supported it), the evil of pornography contributing to the moral meltdown in this nation, and other topics.
To me, they present some of the truth, but leave out relevant information. Oil Empire is right about many hoaxes about 9/11, but they are wrong that Peak Oil should be our primary focus. Peak Oil never caused the Towers to fall or contributed to the failed response of the Air Force when 4 of the planes transponders weren't operational. I do believe that news documents aren't enough. On the other hand, science reports, books, and other sources put together does make a convincing case of the errors of the offical story involving 9/11. ON 9/11, Webster Tarpley's "9-11 Synthetic Terror: Made in USA" book is better than Ruppert since he talks about the whole thing with footnotes and sources. I have hope that Alex Jones can improve himself. I do believe that most of what Alex says about the New World Order and government corruption is accurate. He does mention more than new sources, but scientists' reports, books, articles, and other evidence. I'm a hopeful man. One thing that I will never support is depopulation, abortion on demand, or bashing people yet you haven't cleaned up your own house. The dam is broken and the Neo Cons are just as wrong as the Left wing gatekeepers like Amy Goodman and Noam Choamsky, who refuses to even question the offical story of 9/11 or talk about the new world order (plus Secret Societies).

Hello, I don't know if you have been following the comments on my blog or not, but here's the latest comment.

Mike Ruppert does not_support_ depopulation, he merely points out the reality of that fact. If I tell you that someone set your house on fire and that it will burn down, does that incriminate me as being in favor of arson? Of course not. Likewise it is a mistake to link Ruppert in with the global elite who push the agenda of depopulation, when he is merely sounding the alarm.
It's a very basic concept, actually. Look at the world population before the usage of oil, and look at it now. Subtract oil from that equation and look at the results.
Oil, natural gas and electricity have made a cheap and easy life available, which is why populations have skyrocketed. Deny the fact of Peak Oil or not, it is happening, and populations are going to decline. It's as simple as that.
Our own survival will be based on whether we accept that reality and prepare for it, or merely live day-to-day as we do now. What Ruppert is trying to do is give information to those who are willing to listen. Convincing those who are not is another story. They will be the first ones to die in a FEMA camp or of starvation or a violent end in the chaos which is impending.
