The Associated Press video below carries the following headline: “Video Allegedly Shows Md. Police Beating Student.”
There is nothing “allegedly” about it. Cops from Prince Georges County, Maryland, clearly attack the student after a basketball game. He is slammed against a wall and beaten with batons for no reason whatsoever. He did not threaten the police. The student made the mistake of being on the street and in close proximity of the cops. No other crime was required for the cops to beat him.
The police initially charged the student with assaulting the police but later dropped the charge. Check out the video. Does it look like the student attacked the police? Or are the cops neanderthal thugs who get off on exercising their arbitrary authority and beating people senseless?
