Dr. Martin Luther King is one of the famous people in human history. I've learned a lot from him including other human beings. His dedication to human rights and justice is an inspiration for us all. His father was the famous Baptist preacher from Georgia named Dr. Martin Luther King Sr. He was a man that was right to stand up for economic justice and equality for all peoples in the world. Dr. Martin Luther King lived a very short life from 1929-1968. Yet, his thorough legacy transpires onward in our time and ages in the future. He is famous for organizing the successful Montgomery, Alabama bus boycott for opposition against discrimination on the basis of color in America. Dr. Martin Luther King and other unsung heroes stood up against the status quo to create new laws to protect voting rights, promote civil rights, and having housing rights for all Americans. One of Dr. King's greatest contributions to the world was his opposition to the Vietnam War and the promotion of the Poor People's Campaign. He desired a war on poverty. This resonates today since he have tent cities, people lacking health care, and other tragedies today in America now. King wanted a coalition of people of many races (like blacks, whites, Hispanics, Native Americans, Asians, etc.) to go into Washington, D.C. in order to demand billions of dollars to be spent in order to fight against poverty. King was correct to point out that it's hypocritical to spend billions of dollars in an unjust war of Vietnam, while people are suffering here in home in dilapidated homes, etc. “A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift,” said Dr. King, “is approaching spiritual doom.” He is right on that point since the Vietnam War wasted the resources needed for the Great Society programs. Dr. King promoted non-violent resistance as a radical means in getting done solid resolutions for people. Dr. King was for black power, self assertiveness, and black businesses to grow throughout the South plus the world. He opposed imperialism and the cartel-capitalist system (that has been involved in the international slave trade, globalization, the war on terror, and other nefarious evils in the world). Dr. Martin Luther King was not a perfect man. We know his mistakes (if Dr. King did adultery then he was wrong), yet no one is truly perfect. We can't ignore his errors nor the things that he got correct. The reactionaries lie and said that Dr. King was a Communist when he explicitly condemned Communism as promoting ethical relativism, promoting a violation of human freedoms, and it doesn't equate real spiritual growth (as Communism viewed man as just a cog in the wheel of the state). What Dr. Martin Luther King did mention that we need individual and collective solutions to solve our problems, which is true. What we can do is to use his memory to advance what he got right from opposition to Jim Crow segregation to tolerance & love for your fellow human beings.
You don't have to agree with your neighbor (or me for that matter) on every single issue, but we should treat our neighbor as ourselves. That's the Golden rule from Jesus Christ and that's common sense. If you want to fulfill Dr. King's legacy, then we have be comprehensive in our thinking. We have to fight against poverty, promote equal rights for all peoples, respect the dignity of labor, have love for true health care reform, endorse real individual liberties, and oppose the war on terror. King was a particular obsession of FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, who had branded him “the most dangerous Negro in America,” conducting extensive wiretapping and surveillance, and orchestrating hate mail that included death threats. Hoover violated the human rights of people from across the political spectrum via his COINTELPRO program. J. Edgar Hoover was a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Freemason. Dr. Martin Luther King would have been moved to action by the U.S. Supreme Court's decision allowing corporations to be treated as having the same rights of persons. “Property,” said Dr. King, “is intended to serve life, and no matter how much we surround it with rights and respect, it has no personal being. It is part of the earth man walks on. It is not man.” King was an intellectual, a philosopher, and promoted education. Even King opposed colonialism, materialism, and economic exploitation (which is the essence of much of the Western mindset even among self propaganda "wise people." These people that love this materialism worry about brand named clothing or an electronic device than the degrading, stereotypical images from the corporate world that demonize people of color plus all peoples. This reality exists in the illusion of a post-racial society). King said that America is the nation promoting violence in a pervasive fashion via war. Even when Tavis Smiley brings this up in comparison to President Barack Obama (who is no Dr. King), he called a hater unfairly. We have to remind ourselves that Dr. Martin Luther King was definitely radical in his time and radical today. If Dr. King lived in 2011, many Republicans and many Tea Party folks would disagree with him vehemently on various issues. Dr. Martin Luther King's views are easy to find and they are documented. Even Dr. King would respect President Barack Obama's intellect and contributions to society, but he would disagree with some of his policies. Dr. King would oppose Wall Street's consumption of American infrastructure. He would oppose the current prison system with its 3 strikes laws and mass incarceration of people, especially black people. In early 1968, King declared: “It is incontestable and deplorable that Negroes have committed crimes; but they are derivative crimes. They are born of the greater crimes of the white society.” Could you imagine a person saying these comments today publicly in the USA in 2011. If Dr. Martin Luther King was alive today, he would be treated by the media worse than Rev. Jeremiah Wright was. Rev. Wright was only criticized for a few months. By 1968, most of the establishment (even some black establishment figures) shunned King as rocking the boat too much. In our time in 2011, we have to oppose this evil, unjust war on terror costing trillions of dollars with hundreds of military bases worldwide. We should call for a real war on poverty to help the poor. We should call for the rebuilding of our education and health services. Dr. Martin Luther King was reportedly also called on to have an independent presidential campaign focused on the issues of war and social justice. No one can be Dr. King, but we should be ourselves and be our own leaders in our communities. We are not in the Promised Land yet. We are still fighting the walls of Jericho in the border of the Promised Land. King said that we need a radical redistribution of economic and political power to handle our affairs. When you see record wealth by the super rich and record poverty in the world, there is nothing wrong with ending economic injustices. If Dr. King was alive in 2011, things will be better since Dr. King would put extreme pressure on society to make real changes. He wouldn't be the type to quit using his intellect and eloquent words. If you want to be a leader, then you have to maintain your core convictions without compromise.
The Scientologist FOX news anchor Great van Susteren acts as an enemy of freedom again. This time she wants an Internet ID system in order in her words to "tone down the viciousness." Susteren hosted the "On the Record with Greata Van Susteren" for years. She wanted this ID system for Internet users to seek and post comments at online venues. She believes that it would lighten up the national dialogue. "I guarantee this would tone down the viciousness on the Internet (and not step on the First Amendment)" was how she titled a post on her FoxNews.com blog "GretaWire." That's a disgrace since robust debate is fine. The extreme political correctness in America presently haven't alleviated the rancor in our society. It only made things worse since people hide their true feelings and explode in inappropriate ways. Also, extreme political correctness causes people to lie about their true beliefs and leaves society too conformity (allowing a window for corporatists to dictate our inherit behaviors in a more thorough basis). This discussion comes about the tragic shootings last Saturday in Tuscon, Arizona. 20 people were injured or died including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. Greta Van Susteren's solution was to "create a system where people can freely and completely post comments BUT must simply identify themselves (name or email address)," insisting it wouldn't impede First Amendment rights. In other words, she disagrees with anonymous commenters. She feels that these people show more vitriol as they face little risks of their identity from being traced and them being held accountable for their own words. She wants to smoke out cowards, but cowards will still exist irrespective of an ID system or not (since you hide your real feelings using words too). This is similar to the proposal from the Obama administration. White House Cybersecurity Coordinator Howard Schmidt said that he wanted to create an online identification system taht would be useful for enhancing online security and privacy. The New York Times called it Orwellian sounding. It sounds like a national Internet IDE according to its critics. "We are talking about a government-controlled system. That is exactly what we are talking about," noted the Times article, which was written by Curt Hopkins of ReadWriteWeb.
But Aaron Brauer-Rieke of Center for Democracy & Technology, writing in the progressive blog Think Progress, defended the administration's idea. "Today, life on the Internet is supported by a rickety pile of insecure usernames and passwords," he wrote. "If this identity infrastructure can be made more reliable, convenience is increased and innovation is promoted. The Internet is already a fantastic tool, but if it could be made more trustworthy, it would be more useful to us all." Authoritarian control in the Internet by corporations or the government isn't trustworthy. It's a Big Brother incremental means of censoring what we say in the Internet plainly.
Sudan had their vote to see if separation and independence for south Sudan could be a reality. There are legitimate questions on both sides on this issue. One side says that if Sudan is split, more Western interests could carve up Africa even more in exploiting its resources. Another side said that if southern Sudan was a new nation, then the racism and attacks against animists plus black Christians would radically decrease in that part of the world. One thing is true. The suffering going on in Sudan is wrong and imperialists should not oppress black people in Sudan at all. This vote is important since it could be the beginning of a southern Sudanese nation free from oppression. Freedom sometimes involves separation. There are many examples of this. Algeria separated from French colonists to develop their own nation. America even separated from the British Empire to form the modern American nation. Not all separations are wise, but some are. The vote began on January 9th, 2011. "I grew up during the war, I suffered during the war," says Gabriel Anyuon, a 28-year-old Southern Sudanese from Jonglei state. "An independent Southern Sudan has been what our people have been fighting for. If we don't get 98%, we will get 95%. Separation is inevitable." There are about 3,393,000 registered voters in Sudan. This is big news in Africa. The referendum on Southern Sudan's independence follows the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) signed between the Sudan People's Liberation Movement/Army (SPLA) and the ruling National Congress Party (NCP) in 2005. The accord, signed in Nairobi, provided for a six-year interim period to allow the Southerners to make up their minds on the best way forward. "I don't want to hear anything to do with unity. What unity when the Jallaba (the Southerners' pejorative reference to their Northern compatriots of Arab descent) killed my husband," said Ms Catherine James, 34. "I will wake up on Sunday and vote for separation," she added. If southern Sudan is a new nation, I hope it develops fast and becomes a huge power. Southern Sudan has most of its oil reserves and has fertile, arable lands. Radical Islam hasn't benefit Sudanese peoples neither the pro-Nicean Christianity either. Imperialists can't lecture me about anything and the agenda of the geo-political elite have been exposed for all to see. Even Brzezinski had to admit to that recently. A woman of 115 yrs casted her vote in Juba for the first time in her life. She asked the government of southern Sudan and the government of North to maintain peace in the country. Me and other brothers and sisters do wish the Sudanese black brothers and black sisters well in their journey of their nation. Even Darfur might break off Northern Sudan if Southern Sudan exists as an unique nation. We should be very careful that Europeans won't exploit Africa if Sudan is divided. All Sudanese are Africans, but to deny the genocide in Sudan is wrong.
The Huffington Post is at it again. They are right on some issues, but they are wrong on others. One of their reporters who is biased is trying to attack the great Maafa21 documentary. The Maafa21 film inspired me to be more Pro-Life and exposed me to history that I have never heard of as it relates to the eugenics movement. The Huffington Post deny that eugenics and abortion on demand are interrelated when they are. Both seek to destroy life falsely deemed "inferior" or "useless." The Left Gatekeepers from Huffington Post want people like me to not see the film. The reporter Pam Chamberlain denies that abortion is genocide. Abortion used in the way that it has been has been involved in genocide. For example, the Nazis used forced abortion on innocent people in genocide. Abortion on demand has caused genocide against millions of unborn babies fro decades. Mark Crutcher being Pro-Life have nothing to do with the accuracy of Maafa21. Newspapers and other documents proved that the elite used abortion, population control, war, and other evils as a tactic to harm and control human beings (especially people of color). Even NSM 200 spelling this stuff out is a conspiracy fact. That isn't fiction. Pam needs to realize this. Pam is a race baiter mocking black narrators in the film too. Planned Parenthood was founded by pro-eugenicists like Sanger, so Planned Parenthood was pro-eugenics since its inception. Leaders of PP are found in the rosters of pro-eugenics and pro-population control organization. Chamberlain is very ignorant about this issue. Now, Planned Parenthood used black Americans in the Negro Project and other programs to make the lie that black people were over populated, so radical birth control was necessary (instead of alternatives like community development, pregnancy centers, educational opportunities, real family planning, etc.). Many of these black people who narrated Maafa 21 are experts (form activists, religious leaders, to doctors) not propagandists. Pam is a woman and is not only radically pro-abortion. She wrote books promoting abortion tools. The Group “Civil Liberties and Public Policy” which says that it is a national reproductive rights (pro-abortion) and justice organization dedicated to educating, mentoring, and inspiring new generations of advocates, leaders, and supporters, had Chamberlain speak at it’s CLPP’s 24th annual activist conference, entitled: From Abortion Rights to Social Justice: Building the Movement for Reproductive Freedom. Does Chamberlain sound like an “unbiased” reporter? The answer is no. She claims that people opposing abortion on demand are solely on the "Right" when people from across the political spectrum are Pro-Life. Record abortion deaths among black people is a disgrace and we have the right to promote changes. Pam is right on some things like wanting equal rights for human beings and desiring peace. Yet, abortion is the opposite of peace. Abortion ends lives and end choices plainly speaking. Pam lies and says that Maafa 21 wants to promote racial divide and pretty much make black folks join establishment conservative Christians in an anti-abortion crusade. That's silly since the film wants people to see that oppression against blacks are wrong from slavery, Jim Crow, eugenics, and to abortion on demand (heavily effecting the black community with very bad consequences. If Roe was holy, why have we not gotten better in our communities?). There are many people who are Pro-Life that are anti-war, want child care, want health services given to human beings, want improvements made to our environment, and want real human rights promoted in society. It's that the elite promote the Left/Right paradigm to really divide people in silly cliques. Maafa21 lists sources, books, news reels, and other information to document their information. Maafa 21is a great film and woke me up on issues that I didn't know. The Huffington Post, Planned Parenthood, and other gatekeepers are afraid of Black people knowing the real history of eugenics and promoting alternatives to the abortion crisis in our country. The Left Gatekeepers are especially angry that people of color are waking up about the evils of abortion on demand too. The establishment Left opposes war as destroying life, but ignore how abortion dehumanizes and ends life too. Abortion is genocide against human beings. Promoting Life is better than shedding innocent blood.
Ishamel Reed is a genius in exposing the Left Gatekeepers and he's a progressive himself. He foudn out that the Union had a black woman spy in Jefferson Davis' circumference. She has been cited in the Museum of Military Intelligence. Her relatives unfortunately destroyed her dairy. In our day, the preaching of personal responsibility have been used as an excuse to poor bash, minority bash, and defend Wall Street's crimes against people for years. The elite have done more crimes against people for thousands of years than anyone in human history. That is why the reactionaries lecture on entitlements when most of the people who benefits from the Great Society programs are white people pretty much. There is that myth of radical black dependency when 80% of the people getting Medicare and Medicaid plus Social Security are white people. Births to unmarried black women have plunged since 1976 more than that of any other ethnic group in the USA. The FHA have discriminated against minorities for years. There is the sub prime loan problem too. Contrary to newspaper myths, two thirds of those homeowners who have been caught in this sub prime mess had good credit. They went to the sub prime predators because they were denied loans by red lining banks. Then so-called liberal network MSNBC loves Pat Buchanan when he hasn't apologized for defending Charles Murray's neo-Nazi tract claiming black inferiority. He defended a concentration camp guard. Even that liar Tucker Carlson said that no blacks fought in the Civil War. In fact about 186,000 black people fought on the Union side of the Civil War. He's a hateful son of an ambassador. He's a blue blood. See, a reactionary see the problem of the poor as their own fault alone. While, many problems of the poor are by more complex reasons. The reactionaries definitely ignore corporate attacks on the poor as well. Even the Manhattan Institute sponsors people that sponsors eugenics. Recently, the Manhattan Institute sponsored Charles Murray in one of these IQ debates at the Harvard Club in Manhattan (and McWhorther is apart of the Manhattan Institute as a black man). The Manhattan Institute was founded by CIA Director and Knight of Malta William Casey. Casey might of been indicted for Iran Contra if he hadn't died. So, the Left and Right gatekeepers are enemies against people in general. People like McWhorther, Gates, Malcolm Gladwell (who denied that racism or racist motives had anything to do with the beating of Rodney King or Diallo being shot by some crooked cops) and others use that post racial hustle in trying to deceive people to ignore issues of race & class. The Rights gatekeepers are slick too. They have billions of dollars using the Scaife Foundation and others to promote their agenda.
