More advice on living and life in general

Note by Me: I mention this stuff since certain people need to have some dignity and learn to appreciate their own identity. Also, many white people understand and agree with most of these words since people of every race are tired of clowns and ignorant people trying to harm society. More people of every race are tired of sellouts, thugs, and fake people. We're coming more often to expose them.

yeah, sis, every time I try to get out, they pull me back in! lol
I’m at the point where seeing an article praising black entertainers makes me itch!

the reason the media paints “black success” as entertainment-related — athletes, NBA, NFL, rappers, clowns, buffoons, comedians — is they don’t want us to develop our BRAINS OR REAL SKILLS. All feet, muscle, and brawn, no BRAINS…

REAL SKILLS allow you to build, manufacture, cure, create, invent, design, and build a society. As long as young black folk are focused on being “entertainers” who can’t make anything, manufacture anything, cure anybody of anything, or be doctors, lawyers, scientists, farmers, mathematicians, architects, plumbers, electricians, home builders, machine fixers, designers, inventors – we will be slaves for the rest of the planet that CAN…—-
just imagine a black nation where all the BM can do is throw a basketball, tell jokes, or rap…but can’t feed, house, clothe, make electricity, build pipes to bring water, cure a sick kid, etc. We need to think about that…seriously…

end of sermon…lol

unfortunately, brother, some black folk have elevated these black entertainers into gods, and the racist media KNOWS this because they have created EVERY BLACK ROLE MODEL we have from the pimp house, preacher house, all the way to the White House. We got to recognize that FACT, that whoever pays the cost is most certainly THE BOSS
—-
don’t underestimate the programming that takes place over a 20 to 45 year period (the average ages of the folk who come to this site). Most black folks were raised with a TV blaring at least 8 hours a day. Many of us have set our personal values and standards by what we see on TV.

who is pretty, who is not. Who is sexy, who is not. What is the best alcoholic drink, car, clothing, luggage, jewelry, hell, where did we learn it? From our paycheck to paycheck parents? From our neighbors? From our rich relatives? Or from the TV set?
—-
Some black folks will admire ANYONE with money and fame, because we have been hypnotized by it, and don’t even recognize anybody as a so-called “role model” unless they have it

brother, I know GROWN FOLKS who should know better who get MAD if you criticize Oprah, or some other black “entertainer”, who defended R. Kelly for messing with underage girls because they “like his music.” who swore up and down that a rich BM ballplayer wouldn’t rape anybody, who will defend a rich black entertainer just because they are rich AND black…..so what can they be teaching their kids?

we got young folks (and not so young folk) running around with pants hanging off the a___ (cause they saw a rich rapper doing it), or walking around with blond, red, orange, and mutlicolored hair weaves that cannot be found in nature (cause they saw a famous BW wearing it), or putting tattoos all over their bodies, forgetting that they can’t get a job with a big azz tattoo on their forehead (cause they saw a rich BM doing it), or wearing two big fake ice cubes, one in each ear, like a FEMALE (cause they saw a BM pro baller doing it)

look at the movies, and TV shows, and buffoon-medies, and Def Comedy Jam, and the rap videos and rap songs that DEGRADE black people, and how popular they are, and it is hard to make the case that most of us understand that we are being poisoned…

I am relieved there are BM like u who do understand and see through the hype and madness, but my position is the battle must be waged continuously — take NOTHING for granted — and keep spreading the message of BLACK SELF-RESPECT,

or accept the certain reality that we will lose the war AND possibly the next black generation…

please excuse the long post

Lol….
I think this whole topic of conversation regarding BET is honestly crazy. I mean, most of us have all realized the ignorance of the channel and it’s programming. It isn’t owned by Black people, it is not for any progression of Black people and routinely makes fun of them and perpetuates stereotypes that do nothing but expand racism and the thought that we should be treated as second class citizens and the messed up thing about it is that we actually let this happen.
What I don’t understand is why is it that we let celebrities and entertainers who, for the most part, have no idea who they are their selves dictate how we define ourselves. I rarely respect, let alone care, what any of these entertainers and celebrities do.
Much respect and admiration to my brother Crammasters for setting the table. Keep it coming brother.

one last thing, you will NEVER hear a WHITE MALE COMIC talking about white women the way WE talk about our women, you will NEVER hear them make fun of white women’s RACIAL features, like “stringy hair, flat a____, or pasty white skin.”

Right when the Don Imus controversy was going on, a white radio station was debating the issue, and I called in (waited over an hour) and I asked that white host and his white listeners this question:
“What if a black ESPN sports announcer was watching some white teenaged girls playing basketball, and that black man said, “Man, look at those rough-looking white girls, they are some ugly, stringy-haired, pasty-faced, flat-a___ h___.”
The white host laughed nervously (because he wasn’t expecting that) and all the white folks stopped calling in. Because they KNEW, even if black folks don’t have enough SELF-RESPECT to know where to draw the line — that that was UNACCEPTABLE.

Ask yourself this question, brother: Why don’t these funny, bad azz, black male comics talk about white women’s racial features? Why don’t they call white girls “pasty-faced, stringy-haired, flat a___  h___” in front of a Blue Collar Comedy audience or on national TV? You think white people would laugh at that “joke?” Or would that negro have to run for his his life?
Do you hear Jews making fun of the Holocaust? Do you hear them making fun of their stereotyped noses and frizzy hair? Do you hear Hispanic male comics constantly putting their women down, brother?

ho is on the bottom, brother in this country? The same MALES who do NOT respect the place they COME FROM: the black female’s womb. Any male who does NOT respect his mother and grandmother, and the women of his race will ALWAYS be a slave, no matter where he goes OR how long he lives there — and brother, I have a BLACK WIFE, A BLACK DAUGHTER, AND A BLACK MOTHER — and no, that shyt is NOT FUNNY and NEVER WILL BE FUNNY, because I have NO INTENTION of willingly being a fool AND a slave.

that being said, unlike some black folks, these black entertainers are NOT special to me, they are NOT role models for me (or my kids), they are just paid entertainers, and many are CLOWNS and BUFFOONS who would sell their soul (and their people out) just to make a dollar…

Crammasters, I don’t know who you are but young brother I must say that I am glad that you are here. I wish that so many of my young brothers and sisters’ wake up to what it means to be a role model or a star or just a true Afro-American. I had to check out your page because I was sure you were one of my elders coming back from the beyond. You have to ask yourself sometimes in this business who and what is real. In truth, the Greatest Generation is either to old, don’t get air time or have gone on to glory. The Boomer Generation just out right dropped the ball, sold out, dropped out or got themselves blocked out by the whitewash. So what do this young Generation have that will guide them. I wish I had more time… I wish I had the resources so that I could show this Generation not only the talent of Sammy Davis Jr., or Harry Bellefonte or Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee but the sacrifice and the grace under struggle that was shown and paved so that Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj could have an opportunity to make jack____ of themselves. I wish that this Generation could not only look at the body of work that was left for them but also the style and intelligence that was spoken at award show when we did not have a so called BET and you were actually proud to see any person of color being at the show let alone receiving an award. So I am truly happy and blessed to see that there is a Crammasters out there it gives me hope.

sis, I hear u. the white media (under the label of “black entertainment) are feeding our black youth a steady diet of mind poison, and we better recognize that.
has anybody noticed that d____n near EVERY black “role model” is in entertainment? (Yes, politicians are “entertaiers” too…)
as far as I’m concerned, the word “role model” should be BANNED from the black vocabulary UNLESS it fits the following conditions:
1. You PERSONALLY know, or have met that man or woman, and can recite a LIST of things they have done that you personally admire (reading about a national figure in a newspaper doesn’t count because the media LIES all the damn time)
2. they are working WITHIN the black community, are visible AND accessible to the black masses
3. Or, they live under your roof and bear the title of: father, mother, wife, husband, grandfather, uncle, etc.
the key is PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE
if more of us became role models for our OWN kids, we wouldn’t have to teach them to look up to total strangers, who behind closed doors, might be the BIGGEST DEMONS on the planet…

After seeing the top pic of a BW entertainer with ORANGE HAIR (damned ridiculous), I realized why I stopped watching these bull_____ BET and NAACP Image awards shows, holding up these black entertainers, actors, clowns, and buffoons as black “role models”….
—-
which brings to mind a quote from MY “role model,” Malcolm X:
—-
Look around today, in every small town and big city, from two-bit catfish and soda-pop joints into the ‘integrated’ lobby of the Waldorf-Astoria,and you’ll see conks on black men, and black women wearing these green and pink and purple and red and platinum blonde wigs.
They’re all more ridiculous than a slapstick comedy. It makes you wonder if the Negro has completely lost his sense of identity, lost touch with himself.”
—–
if Malcolm could see all these BW with blonde, red, and ORANGE weaves and hairdos, and all the BM with more jewelry than a bunch of old white ladies at a tea party, I sincerely believe, he would turn over in his grave
—-
time to turn the TV off and get our SANITY (and good taste) back…

absolutely. Divide and conquer all day long.
and they degrade the BW thru movies like Precious, Norbit, Big Momma's House, etc. to make impressionable BM think the BW has less value.

However, nothing is further from the truth. The black woman is the original, the first woman on the planet.. Now, that says something right there...

@ venitabr...

Sis, I know what u mean, some of us are stuck mentally and do not see OR understand racism even when it's happening to us.

in my experience, most black folk who deliberately move to predominantly white communities already have a certain (want to be accepted by whites) mentality

there seems to be a UNCONSCIOUSNESS about them where they have on blinders to racism even though u know damn well they are getting "looks" and stares and frowns and comments on a regular basis...but will act like it's not even happening

have a female relative who is married to a WM, one time I was met her at a starbucks in this all-white, wealthy suburb and when we sat down at a table this young WM got up and moved so he wasn't sitting near us

i peeped it but she didn't even notice it and had she noticed she would have pretended she didn't, she d____ sure didn't want to talk about it, because she's so white identified, it's important that white people accept her. She thinks it's the UNEDUCATED negroes who are disliked, not the ones like herself ..lol

don't know what the CURE is for that kind of mental illness but sooner or later ALL will get a wakeup call

@ rayskilla6 who said, “now its the exact opposite!! If you dare even speak out that disagree with it and God forbid oppose it, you are labeled a hatred spewing bigot who doesn’t deserve to live. And I know this is by design, but people are so naive especially in the political sense.”

brother, you spoke a mouthful of truth
black folks are being programmed to think (or not think) that EVERYTHING — especially perversion — that the media says is OK, and that to criticize anyone connected is wrong (will make you unpopular)

it is hard (and painful) to believe that blacks who USED to be the more conservative, God-worshipping folks in the nation — have become so weak-willed that we are afraid of going against what the corrupt media says

Since too many black parents have allowed TV and black entertainer-puppets to set the moral tone for their children, there is NO MORAL FOUNDATION for many black folks

which means you will do or say or wear whatever someone with a bigger bank account or image says you should do

the ONLY way — in my opinion — to overcome this brainwashing, is to START THINKING FOR OURSELVES — which means we will have to START EDUCATING OURSELVES and READING books that tell the truth about what has happened to us
