The Michael Cohen aftermath.

As people have known, Michael Cohen has given a historic testimony. He told Congress and the people of America that Trump is a racist, a thief, and a con man. We all know that to be 100 percent true. Cohen said that Trump said that black people won't vote for him since he falsely called black people "dumb." We also know that Trump said in public that a Mexican American can't judge an immigrant case fairly because of heritage, which by definition is racist. Not to mention that Trump demonized mostly black countries and disrespected especially greatly professional, excellent black American women journalists (like Abby Phillip). Trump called neo-Nazis "fine people." Trump is a notorious racist. Cohen said that Trump paid him hush money to various women to cover up his adulteries. Also, Cohen said that Trump knew of the Russian Tower meeting. He argued with GOP Congressmen that tried to question his character. Cohen testified under oath that Donald Trump Jr. told his father that the meeting is set up before the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russians. Cohen brought the $35,000 check too (with Donald Trump's signature on it). Cohen's testimony included blockbuster information about the events of the Trump administration. Cohen apologized for the lies that he told previously. Cohen said that Trump had advanced knowledge of the Wikileaks dumping of Hillary Clinton's emails. He also said that Roger Stone talked with Julian Assange about DNC emails. Cohen said that Trump's attorney knew that he would said when he testified to Congress during his first time. Cohen is still in contact with the Southern District of New York (as Trump can be charged after he is out of the Presidency. Trump is accused of felony federal election tampering). The Southern District of New York is still investigating Trump. The situation is that Mueller knows all of this information that Cohen presented to Congress too.

History is being during this Black History Month of 2019. Toni Harris is the first black woman and non kicker to receive a full college football scholarship (in playing for a majority men football team). Toni Harris is the second woman to play football via a scholarship. She became the first woman to ever play for East Los Angeles College. She represents the Dream of so many. In our time, we are blessed enough to witness history. Now, regardless of the naysayers and the haters, this young Sister is fulfilling more of her dream in playing the sport that she so loves, which is football. Right now, she is 5 ft. 7 and 164 pounds. Title IX bans discrimination in sports involving sex. That's the law. Therefore, she has every right to perform in football, and she has earned her scholarship by achievement and merit. That is the truth. Her dream is for her to be the first woman to play in the NFL. In 2019, she was the focus and star of a Super Bowl commercial for the Toyota RAV4. Detroit is the place of her hometown. Courage is definitely related to her inspirational story. We wish her all of the best in her endeavors.

Today is certainly the perfect time to honor a great woman. Changing lives precipitously in a positive direction represents her modus operandi. Her birthday recently came and her name is Sister Lenda Murray. She is now 57 years old and she was born in Detroit, Michigan. As a trailblazer, she overcame many obstacles. She has always taught the world that femininity is never monolithic and it's diverse. Femininity can be expressed in STEM fields, athletics, economic endeavors, and bodybuilding. She was a legendary woman bodybuilder whose career spanned decades. Today, she has been part of a movement to help anyone to improve their fitness goals. She was a great sprinter too. When it is all said and done, our legacy deals with things beyond dealing with ourselves. It deals with how we have enriched or helped the lives of others and how we have made the world better. Throughout her programs and words of encouragement, Lenda Murray has made the world better. Today, more women and men are being open minded and progressive about fitness culture. True fitness culture is about respecting people and blessing people. It is about seeing that our common humanity should be cherished and our diversity is a honorable gift. It is fundamentally about lifting people up with a sincere motivation. That is why we're born on this Earth. I wish Sister Lenda Murray much more success in her life.

Some folks say that we can't get universal health care, free college, or environmental changes, because we can't afford to do so. Can't is one common word from the skeptics. Yet, we should reject the skeptics' constant doubts. When this country was founded during the late 1700's, black people didn't have rights neither did women or Native Americans. Today, we see an expansion of rights for many people. We have a long way to go, but we saw the elimination of the Confederacy when folks said that it couldn't be done. We saw the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act passed by both houses of Congress and signed by LBJ when others said that these laws couldn't be passed. We saw Social Security help millions of the elderly when the centrists and the far right slandered it as a totalitarian program back then. Grassroots organizing and grassroots activism contributed heavily to the gains that we have achieved in America plus throughout the world. It is a disgrace that the United States of America is the richest nation in the history of the world and has massive income inequality, massive police brutality, racism, sex discrimination, xenophobia, and a far right movement that refuses to acknowledge these real injustices (which are facilitated by a vulture capitalist system).

So, we should reject the notion that we can't think big and enact a bold vision that progressively helps Americans and others of the world. After Europe was saved from the enemy of Nazism, America spent billions of dollars to rebuild Europe via the Marshall Plan. Today, we have the same people saying that it is unwise to send billions of dollars to help the poor, the elderly, the students, and the sick. It doesn't make any sense. Billions of dollars are necessary to rebuild our nation. Therefore, we have the right to advocate for health care as a human right, to rebuild our infrastructure, to make education affordable, and to ensure that general welfare plus justice for all are made real for real. You make that a reality by yes, not allowing the 1% have inordinate, unjust power. It is by allowing the people to govern our own lives with our own power (that we cherish. We pay taxes, we work for a living, and we have the right to witness a strong social safety net). Society must be reconstructed to promote an end of oligarchy and an embrace of democracy plus justice.
