Flying Dutch on NYC and the Economy

From http://christianinfobomb.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=17993

New York is the safest metropolitian area of the US for the last 15 years or so.But the zero tolerance policy of Gulliani was not always so honest. Bending statistics.
A lot of troubles in Manhattan is swept away to boroughs.
anyway, if they really have less than 1000 murders it's a far cry from several other cities in the US in comparisson tot he population or some foreign cities like in S-Africa.
The only thing i saw in Manhattan was somebody kicked out of a bar through the windows in the 12 days i've been there in total.I didn't feel unsafe, the only thing that scared me was the cops and authorities, it's a real police state there!
and they love to excercise their litle power, and that was before 9-11! Security in buildings also behaves like that. some are just alright, they make jokes. But it's a big difference with back in home,we don't have that in Holland.... See More

New York lookslike a city where nobody invested in for decades....people constructing buildings without safety measures etc., yet it generates an incredible amount of money, the most after Tokyo. And in Manhattan you got the wealthy and the rest is just plain poor.but it feels like retro..oldfashion.
but it's also very nice, there's a lot to do and i actually only had very positive experiences with New Yorkers who are clearly more friendlly than people at home. but it's a generally known fact that Americans are very hospital and nice people and easy to get along with.
Obama could easily spend a trillion to phsyically upgrade New York city ..if you like to boost the real economy it's necessary there!!The Ground Zero area, is more like 21th century!!

my comment: but WHO does social engeneering, govemrent or where it private oblichargies that took over goverment?
Welfare is no culture it's a highly necessary thing for bad circumstances, normally govemrent wouldn't be that bbad, the fact federal goverment is so bad is because private companies have taken over goverment, fund and run politicians
Is Norway a failure, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, even Sweden with their generous welfare systems? They do better then the US.

No need to correct you, you're right on about almost everything i've read here. Some of the stuff doesn't have such great sources because the internet is full of propaganda, it's very difficult to dig through it. But you've really exposed some serious connections of Dr. Von Mises and Von Hayek to the Rockefeller's and Morgans! that is crazy!....
