Well, we've talked about this and decided to let this thread stay up. Goldbugs are our friends. They have correctly identified the problem -- the quantity of money is out of our -- the voters' -- control. They just believe incorrectly that "sound" money means gold money. In fact, "sound" money means only that the money supply remains constant, increasing only with population.Once we get desperate enough, we will realize this and hopefully never again fall for the bankers' tricks of a flexible money supply. Bottom line: throw a specified amount of money in the national pot and then let us all go fight over it.
