Watchman: We have already seen that President Bush, who claims to be pro-life is REALLY a Roe v. Wade pro-abort. Pure and simple. Bush reaffirmed his belief in the "three exceptions": rape, incest and danger to the life of the mother. Many Bushites will protest, "NO! Roe v. Wade had an exception for 'health' of the mother, and that's where all the evil really is". But that is not true. The companion case, Doe v. Bolton contained the expansion of "abortion rights". So a person who is "pro-life except for rape, incest and danger to the life of the mother", is TRULY a Roe v. Wade pro-abort whether they like the designation or not. Such a person, like President Bush, thinks it's FINE to kill an unborn child because his or her father is a rapist or is also his or her uncle or grandfather. Such people believe that the murder of an innocent child will somehow ameliorate the pain of the original crime for the mother, when in fact, all it does is compound it with yet another sin, crime and evil. And so, since our recent Supreme Court justices are men Bush favors, and God gave us a system whereby we get whom we deserve, why would we expect that they would overturn Roe? Roe v. Wade is EXACTLY in line with President Bush's beliefs about abortion. Why would he actually want it overturned?
