Jesuit information in 2008

The three most powerful American Jesuits are:

Thomas Smolich, President of the Jesuit Conference in Washington, D.C.
Advised by Smolich are the Ten Jesuit Provincials

James Grummer, the Assistant to the Jesuit General for the United States.
The Ten American Provincials answer to Grummer in Rome.

Frank Case, Secretary of the Society of Jesus

Thus, we have two White American Jesuits in Rome who are directly involved in the orchestrating of the Black Pope's 21st Century Crusade against Islam (first against Shia and then to be Sunni) and historic Western Protestant Civilization. We must also remember that Pietro Tacchi-Venturi was not only the Secretary of the Society of Jesus in the 1920s and 30s, but was also the advisor of Benito Mussolini when the Duce restored the temporal power of the pope in 1929.

I wonder how well Jesuit Case knows the Bush family.

Sincerely in faith,

Brother Eric

Fr Thomas Smolich SJ has been appointed the next president of the Jesuit Conference. He is expected to take office in June of 2006. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the Jesuit Conference is the national liaison office coordinating the work of the ten Jesuit provinces in the United States. Fr Smolich is replacing Fr Bradley Schaeffer SJ, who is completing his term in office after becoming president in 1998.

Fr Smolich is completing a six-year term as the Provincial of the Jesuits of the California Province. He previously served as project manager at Mid-Peninsula Housing Coalition, an affordable-housing developer in San Francisco, and as assistant for planning and programs in the province.

Fr James Grummer SJ

Regional Assistant for the U.S. Jesuits

Thanks for these names, Brother Eric.

I would have interpreted Grummer as being assistant to the American Jesuit General (as contrasted with being the American Assistant to the Jesuit Superior-General. So why is Grummer based in Rome? Is that where the American Jesuit General is also based? This I find confusing. If you can tell me the pages in VAIII that may clarify this then I'll check it out for myself there.

Also: I'm guessing that Smolich as "President of the Jesuit Conference in DC" isn't the American Jesuit General?

Any clarification on the above confusion would be most welcome, as would these three's relationship to each other & clear info on whether they are they based in Rome or the US.

In truth & awareness -
Troy
