Watchman: My opposition to the War in Iraq as undeclared military adventurism is well known here. But this really takes the cake. The President has declared a "War on Terror" but refuses to secure our borders. Now he is allowing the takeover of ports in major cities by a Saudi Arabian firm! Not only were 15 of the Sept. 11 hijackers Saudis, but they were shown to have been funded by the crown princess of the United Arab Emirates. The Saudi government is known to exercise significant control and influence in Saudi companies as well. This is absolutely NUTS! President Bush wants to send men and WOMEN to kill terrorists 8,000 miles from home, while he grants permission for terrorist-supporting nations to control major ports in our own country! This is madness that we will ultimately pay for in the shed blood of our own citizens, not soldiers.
